The desk clerk was very courteous & respectful. The room was very spacious & clean. Location was great, real close to I81 & I64 west bound. Quiet with a good view.

If you want super plush towels… stay elsewhere. If you’re paying $100-ish for a hotel, and the comment is about towel plushness, the hotel is fine. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Parking was fine. Breakfast was available.

Inexpensive hotel. A bit dated, but in good shape. Very clean and near Lexington.

Our room was full of flies. Thankful to the manager who were very helpful with our situation. We were transferred to a different room.

I needed a two day rest on a long road trip, and the location was convenient. It turned out the room I was given on the second floor had a nice view of hills and trees, a deck outside, and was spacious and comfortable. I rested well. The breakfast bar was above average for the price of the room. Everyone I met who worked there was polite and welcoming.

Dirty. Just dirt and grime…everywhere. The room was not terrible, but any common area was trashed. Back door did not lock which means anyone could enter late night with no key. Very unsafe.

Beautiful location of property, however substandard room conditions. Staff amenable but overwhelming gnat/bug/odor conditions impossible to overcome.

We have stayed here for many parent weekends at a nearby school, and always found it to be fine. This time, I booked on Hotels.com for a price of $366 total after taxes and fees, ($159 a night for 2 nights with 3 people). When I checked out, by bill was $564. I thought the bill seemed high, so when I got in the car, I opened up my reservation to find that indeed, my email from Hotels.com said $159 a night. I went back in to get the right receipt and make sure I was not overpaying. The person at the desk said he would pass it to the manager. I shared that this has happened in the past and I was never able to resolve it, so I was hesitant to leave until resolved. He said he could not do anything, and gave me his name and number to call that night--that it would be resolved. I called and was told he gave the information to the manager and it would be settled. I asked for a call back from the manager, but shocking...no call and it still has not been settled. I would let a few dollars go, but this is literally a $200 difference. I would think that Hotels.com would want to settle it or the hotel would. They have lost my business, and I would warn you to ask for the receipt before you step foot into your room. Or find a better hotel.

This place COCKROACHES. I WAS IN THE ROOM 2 MINUTES AND FOUND 5 ROACHES. I'm still awaiting my refund.

The room at this hotel with an amazing hilltop view was clean, albeit weathered and in need of a facelift. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The front-desk staff was friendly and courteous. The included breakfast was a treat, although devoid of fresh fruit. Overall, this was a great stay for a very reasonable price.

Staff was friendly. Room had a weird/strong smell. It smelt like smoke mixed with mold (nonsmoking room). It was late and we had been driving for 12+ hours so we decided to just deal with it and sleep. The towels and top sheet were all stained also. If we planned to stay longer than that one night, we would have definitely asked for a better room or a refund.

Loved the view! Super easy check in and check out.

It’s a nice hotel in a beautiful area with gorgeous views. The hotel is out dated and needs some help. Cigarette butts were just outside our patio door as well as a dead cockroach. Inside was very clean but tub/shower looked dirty because it’s dated. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Very quiet place.

Stay was decent. Hotel is an old establishment, and the rooms shows it. Walls needed to be painted, it looks like drywall was done, and area needed to be painted. Vent in the bathroom was very very noisy. Overall room was clean, bed and pillows were comfy. Not bad for a one night stay, if you don't mind the other areas. Hotel is quite as well. Have stayed here numerous times, and same results. Staff was polite as well. Great view at the entrance of the hotel.

The hotel was in much better maintenance than most motels we've stayed in this same price range. Everything worked and decor was fresh.

Property was nice and right off interstate

Disappointed with the breakfast. No Virginia ham or bacon. In fact, no breakfast meat whatsoever. Not even sausage gravy and biscuits. The pool was just ok. The front desk staff were very aprupt whenever I asked questions. Although one staff member helped me find the correct way to get coffee. That was nice. Its an older property. The room was clean.
