I chose this hotel due to proximity to the interstate. Keep driving. My son was covered in dog hair after laying on the bed. I would think part of the cleaning process after a dog was in the room would be new comforters. Apparently not. Room smelled like cheap cologne (probably to cover up dog smell).

Stopped for a night in Lexington VA. I never know what to expect with a Holiday Inn. This one was great! So clean. Comfortable. Easy parking. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend.

It could have been a positive experience but for the price it was very noisy. We could hear everyone around us in their rooms. The rooms are small, too. Making for a more cramped experience. This hotel was my most expensive stay and I am more pleased with the less expensive stay on Monday.

Everyone was super friendly and understood my need for quiet/sleep after a long drive.

I called ahead to make sure I could get a crib for my room. When I arrived 2 hours later I was told it would be brought up. 30 minutes later I tried to call the front to check as it was 1030pm and my baby and family needed to sleep. I found at that time that the phone didn’t work. I went down to the desk to which they told me they don’t have any cribs. I asked for extra pillows and blankets. I was asked if I had a 2 queen room, I said yes, and was then asked why would I need more pillows and blankets. I explained that since there are no cribs I will need to attempt to make some kind of bed for my child. This is very aggravating especially since I called ahead to make sure I could secure a crib and have it ready as I knew my family would be getting in late and want to go to bed right away.

My experience with Expedia was very very poor Holiday Inn was great Expedia you people way over charge me and double charge me after I had to change a date next time I will call Holiday Inn direct and get the room cheaper then what was on line.You people had the nerve to charge me another 75.00 to my bill to change and I called ahead of time.Your a rip off.

Easy location for our needs for one night. Rooms clean and large, bed very comfortable.

It would have been great if the person would not have given me a room that didnt exist. I wasted 20 minutes going where the person told me to go.

It's a better than average motel experience, typical for Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean and comfortable. There were no standout features to warrant a 5 star rating, but I do recommend the place (and the town).

Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the best part - scrambled eggs and sausage with good coffee is my favorite way to start the day!

The bed is only full size not queen size as I reserved the room.

Check in was efficient. Scenic view to the outside from our window. Unfortunately, there was only one seat in the room. The room view on the website had another seat pictured.

Total property was clean. Room was perfect for the price point. Staff was friendly and professional.

Nice property. We don’t like the huge increase in price that occurs when there is a college event or horse event going on. It’s quite a jump in price.
