Very affordable for the area, so I was worried that it would not be very good. Overall, the hotel was very clean and comfortable and the beach area outside the hotel was nice. Would 100% stay here again.

I booked the hotel through Hotels.com and after i paid the email stated the reservation was complete. When i showed up, i found out i needed to pay $25.00 a day to park and the hotel charged a.mandatory conservation fee every day. I was made to pay for the hotel's charitible giving preferences. I should of asked them to pay me for St. Judes giving. I cant stand being nickled and dimed to death. Hotels.com should have made the extra charges know, they are obviously in a relationship with these hotels. I will not use Hotels.com or stay at this hotel again. Its not hard to be honest with prople up front. I felt exploited. because they know your not going to cancel late in the evening after a long drive and try finding another hotel last minute.. The evaluator felt and sounded like it was going to break every time we stopped at the 5th floor.

Loved the roll in shower. ! Loved the beach tho very tiny. Loved the pool & restaurant. People/staff & in restaurant were personable & helpful. I thank you for that.
Sofa had blood on arm, one seat cushion was nasty, whole sofa need cleaning. Ugh! Bathroom wall had brown yuck running down it on left side going in.
Wish maid service had been explained a bit more. Patio had French fries , orange slices & other food & a bazillion ants on door threshold. I sprayed my Lysol on some of the ants. I called front desk to vacuum patio & they did get -some -of food up.
Not sure I would return.

Fantastic! Hotel was perfectly located on a beautiful beach, rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly, pool was clean. The area seemed very safe too. Only negative was the price per night for parking and the narrow parking spots, but there was always was available spots to park. Every local hotel charged that same price for parking. I’m hoping to come back next summer too.

We had a nice stay. The staff was very helpful and kind. The property could use a bit more upgrades, general maintenance but for the most part we were pleased.

They do not tell you that you cannot bring your own chairs or umbrellas. You are forced to rent theirs. Also no food or drinks of your own. No ice machine. This is more of an inlet vs real beach. The staff was very nice. We will stay elsewhere next time.

Nice location steps from water. The beach is calm and great for kids. Many places to eat nearby and just a minute walk down beach to night music and more food options. I don't care for the added conservation and parking fees you have to pay on arrival. This should be included in expedia price. Overall a great option right on beach.

Veryyy disappointed. No trash bag, room was facing the parking garage that has windows so absolutely no privacy, couldnt even open the curtains so here we are staying in a dark hotel room on a beach after paying over 200/night then we get there and had to pay for parking on their premises for the night so $240 for something that was motel 8 comparable

Our room was a nice size and clean. Staff very friendly. Beautiful little private beach. Didn’t like you aren’t allowed to sit on it with your own chair- there is some area to the side you can put it but they want you to pay for chairs there which to me should be included.
No pen and paper in the room or list of available tv channels. Didn’t see Fox/cnn if there I couldn’t find. My mom who is 82 would have liked. A printed guide.Liked it overall nice place to stay on quiet end of Clearwater beach

Arriving late, the staff was very helpful getting us checked in. The location was ideal, within walking distance to many shops, beach, and restaurants.

It’s a decent place for a good price. The room was huge for a family of 5 although the bathroom is tiny. It’s a much older hotel that was freshened up a few years back.

Our child enjoyed all of the Winter photos around the property. Having the beach right there was a plus. Hotel itself is average at best. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Hotel nearby has live music nightly and is very loud until late into the night. You get what you pay for, though. Staff was friendly. Parking was never a problem.

I’m very happy about my stay at Winter. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Me and my daughter loved it. It is so nice being right on the beach while close to shops, restaurants, etc. We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Winter !!

Good place to go with family. The attitude of the beach worker, who does maintenance is incredible, very cheerful, and a good worker.

The photos are deceiving. The pool had birds swimming in it. Our view was of another hotel being renovated. The patio was so small it felt like a ledge two people could not fit comfortably.

This was a quick end of summer trip before returning back to work. Have stayed here a couple times before as it it one of our favorites. Access to other locations nearby accessible by beach or street side. Everything is walkable and plenty to do from this location. Staff is very helpful and friendly and restaurant is affordable and clean. Would recommend to anyone.
