Quite sure the bed had bugs and a huge concave in the middle didnt make for a good nights rest. Deposit is nonrefundable as ive been waiting for almost a month now.

It looks the remodeling is underway. The room we got was fair condition, could be cleaned but we didn’t feel so. The TV channels didn’t work and my husband talked to the front desk. We are supposed to some discount for that via Hotels.com per the receptionist. I am going to try.

It was a place to shower and sleep. The pictures on hotel.com look a lot nicer than it really is. It was in process of renovation which it needs. The elevator didn’t work and the only room left was on the third floor. This would be impossible for a physically challenged person to go up two large flights of stairs to the room. It wasn’t filthy but it wasn’t very clean either. For the price given how expensive San Diego can be, there are other choices that are nicer. It was in a wonderful location right next to Mission Bay, but no view of it. I’d rather stay in the suburbs and drive to Mission Bay or other attractions rather than stay here again. It wasn’t the worst but wasn’t good either. A rating of meh, and I’ll stay somewhere else next time applies.

Property does not look like the web page. Property was under construction. Property doesn’t seem to be the safest area. Gaps in the door and AC wasn’t working like it should. However I did not let staff know. Room had a slight odor that wasn’t pleasant.

The hotel in general wasn’t updated, room had a musty smell, closet mirror was off the track and one of the luggage stand straps was broken. Also, the only thing good for breakfast was the waffles and location was near restaurants.

Was given a dirty room - tv remote was covered in lotion, room smelled musty. Asked to switch out and was given a room that smelled full of smoke. Good value though!

The motel was nothing fancy. The elevator was not working so I had to lug all my things via stairs. There was trash around the place- not a lot but it never got picked up. My key and wifi stopped working after the 2nd of 3 nights. There was no “do not disturb” sign to hang on the door to keep the cleaning service from knocking but then they never came to clean the room! Great location, convenient to the beach, downtown and old town.

The elevator was out of service. I have had a hip operation and found the inoperable elevator a major inconvenience. Fortunately, I was too lazy to go back to the office for a room on the ground level.

Shabby hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights. The room had a smell. I shut off the AC and it was better. I asked for the filter to be changed which they did the next day. The curtains were not hung right so there was no way to keep them closed. I rigged up the ironing board to fill in where the curtain failed. There was a wet washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rail when I took my first shower. There was a dark brown stain on my pillow that looked like a small insect ground into the pillow. I don't know what it was but it was disgusting. They apparently don't clean the rooms unless you ask for it. I asked for them to do so but they did not. The place is run down and in serious need of renovation.

When I spend $150 on a room, I expect something! The dead bolt was missing, the windows had not locks, the rug was torn in such a way that I tripped going across the room. I did not feel safe at this motel.We ended up on the 3rd floor because that was all that was available but for someone who will have knee surgery, it was very difficult to climb 34 stairs as the elevator was out of order. And the TV only had 22 channels of which 12 were news! I would say it was not worth the money!

Excellent for families, dogs okay under 25 lbs I believe, that’s the weight limit. And I think they charge a fee. No elevator at present. 3 flights but they do accommodate. Very nice pool, & jacuzzi, workout room, business center and nice breakfast. I think above all the staff is 5 star definitely. Natasha and Jesse and Julio, at the front desk. Which is pretty much a full service concierge 😊 and housekeeping just sweetheart living dolls. Lots of travelers from Arizona, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico. Can’t say enough about the local. A great place to refresh from your travels and the road. I am a repeat customer and have always felt safe as a solo lady traveler. And always warmly welcomed

The carpet turned our feet black, we found dirty clothes, phone and tv did not work and hair in the beds. I have stayed in worse but not to many.

The breakfast service is great!! Varied, fresh, constantly replenished. Sometimes you expect a serial bar and a coffee when you read breakfast included. This is real breakfast! Thank you!

It’s a death trap. Stay away. Black mold on the carpet and in the bathroom. I’m going to contact the health department to get them to shut down the hotel. These conditions are prevalent through out the property. I’m attempting to engage legal help for injuries sustained since I’m highly allergic to black mold.
I was told to contact Expedia since the property has authorized a refund and taken the room out of circulation. That’s ok but doesn’t help my lung issues because of black mold. Stay away if you value your health.
