Nice boutique hotel in great location for the tube, shopping and restaurants. Nice staff. Room was below ground with weird indoor/outdoor carpet but a few nice touches that made the room feel special. Eg coffee machine, cookies, tea pot and tea, I’d stay again.

The basement rooms are musty and dank. Unacceptable and outrageous at the price

The Meliá London Kensington Hotel was a great choice. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The property is clean and well maintained, the location met all my requirements. I would not hesitate to reserve a room here again.

Beautiful hotel! The bedroom was big and the section of the room with the pull out bed had its own bathroom and privacy. Train station one block down, lots of food spots to walk to. Overall the room was great!

We had no hot water for the entirety of our stay. They said they had fixed it but it was not. Even the room we were moved to did not have hot water. This happens, but the way the manager handled it was very poor and I would not go back ever again

Very pretty, simple but sophisticated. Bathroom is tiny, but one of the best showers I have had in years. Staff very responsive and nice. Bit noisy, both from street and noise from above. Get top floor? Would easily stay again especially given the price and neighborhood.

The staff at Meliá Kensington was simply AMAZING! Due to their attention and detail to our needs, we had the most pleasant stay. We look forward to returning to Melia one day soon!

Great hotel stay. Staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. My only downfall was that there were limited dining options in the area. The local pizza express was amazing!

Noisy in the room upstairs. Very small family room, tiny bathroom. The hotel was making construction or renovations and we could not use the elevator. Easy acces to Underground only 2 blocks away.

For the price- not worth it. The bathroom had mold and the walls were very thin- we were unable to go to sleep until well past 2am due to so much noise. I would expect much better for almost $300 per night. The neighborhood is beautiful, we will be choosing a different hotel next visit.

Starting with the positive: The staff was amazing, very customer oriented and helpful. The facilities and overall room very clean. Located in a nice area and walking to many attractions was convenient. However, the room and in-room ammenities were disappointing. The room was too small for two singles sharing a King room. There was no room for our suitcases and had 1 drawer to share with minimal space to hand clothes up. The lighting was very dim and, no outlets in the bathroom which made getting ready to go out for dinner etc very challenging. We found ourselves "climbing over" each other to get dressed, dry our hair, do make up etc. Finally, staff did come in each day to make bed and provide clean towels but did not tidy, replace cups, coffee etc. Overall, nice hotel but not as comfortable accomodations as I would have expected and preferred.

Excellent in every way! We arrived early in the morning after a long flight and they went out of their way to allow us to check in early so we could refresh and relax. The hotel is gorgeous and very convenient location to tube station. Highly recommend.

Great location, so convenient to the underground, restaurants, and museums. Staff was lovely and helpful. Room was on the small side, but everything worked well and room was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely return.

This hotel was great! Clean, modern and spacious rooms (we had the Jnr Suite), attentive and friendly staff as well! Directly across the road from the Gloucester St tube stop with quick access to central London via the Circle, District and Picadilly lines. Would easily stay again!

I stay at Melia Hotels every opportunity I have. Meliá London provided impeccable service and attention to detail. Their recommendations from dining to shopping were superb. The miniature birthday cake and birthday card…exceptional!

Beautiful older hotel, is just steps away from the Gloucester Station Tube station, but almost in a neighborhood setting. The property was undergoing renovations while we were there. New door locks (we had to reprogram our key several times), dining room was being renovated (so no dinner at hotel was available). Housekeeping was on pointe, however, we only received washcloths every third day. The linens were fluffy and soft. Coffee service in the room was Nespresso everyday and complimentary. Snacks and drinks were available all day in the lobby.

It was overall a nice stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but cute. Walls are really thin. I don’t like the fact the doors are locked after 12 into the entrance. You have to wait for someone to physically come unlock it. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Lovely property , clean rooms , fantastic breakfast great location right by tube . Only negative would be rooms are quite small, but consistent with area.

This hotel was a great find, perfect location for us. We had space to work and relax, staff was always on hand. The breakfast was everything one could hope for! The Royal Albert Hall in walking distance was the prize.

Front desk staff was amazing! Rooms are small but it’s Europe so to be expected. Great place to stay very up to date!

boutique hotel in a good area of London. Room was a little small. No restaurant or bar in the hotel. Very walkable to shopping, restaurants, the Thames and attractions.

Close to Gloucester Station (Underground). Very conveniently and centrally located. Love the area. Easy to walk around. All shops and restaurants are there.
