This is a very unkept, dirty property. With no shower curtain, open outlet, stained carpet, moldy skylight. It was the worst property I have stayed in. I did some research and they are closing 10/31. So obviously the owners just don't care about it's customers.

The place is huge, has a great location, it’s quiet and the beds are comfortable. You can’t hear everything happening outside of your room. That is the positives to this place. It is not clean. Coffee was still splattered across the TV guide, most lights were flickering or did not work, fingerprints from previous guest all over the magnifying mirror. Not sure if they own a vacuum due to the filthy hallway and room carpet. All docks surrounding the hotel are private and you are not allowed to crab or fish off them (main reason for our trip).

Liked the view. Lack of a place to get food.

The carpet in the room we were assigned was filthy, also the strong order of mildew in the room was horrendous. So my wife and I returned the room key 10 minutes after receiving them and checked out of this establishment. The front desk associate was outstanding, she was contrite, sympathetic and accommodating. But no, I will not be recommending this establishment. It is defiantly due for a major property update!

Well about the property is excellent the only thing I complain about the room where I stayed with I think the air conditioning did not work well

No wifi, poor plumbing, desk chair ripped and inoperable.

No WiFi available for the 3 nights of our stay!!! Pool not open until 3pm! Wanted an alternative type of pillow, was told there were none Room keycard had to be reprogrammed all 3 days!

The room was comfortable and clean. The carpet Needed to be shampood and cleaned. The Toilet is difficult to use because it was too low to the floor.

We had a great time. We went to the Buffay for breakfast. And our waitress was amazing. She made our morning there an awesome morning her personality was great service was fantastic. I have to say everybody was very professional and very friendly.

If you need Wi-Fi during a stay, don’t book here. This location is becoming an assisted living facility in a few months, so clearly have decided not to pay for internet for the remainder of the time as a hotel. Sad that holiday inn let such a nice property decline so much .

Wifi was not available. It was a business trip and wifi was a requirement. Like indoor plumbing and electricity, I needed it. Its basic. Without it, it is not what I was buying. I was cheated and my business compromised.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. Dirty towels from last guest in bathroom. No Wi-Fi service. The in house restaurant at the hotel had no appetizers and very little of the menu was available. Main floor hallway not properly ventilated. None of the taps in the on site bar were working and drinks were flat or watered down.

When we arrived we were informed there was no internet service; it was NEVER restored during our entire stay.The staff seemed to be blase’ with no concern for guests’ needs. I believe this is most likely a common occurrence with this resort. Unfortunately in my case access to Wi-Fi was most important to me during my stay!

Weve been at this location before several times. We visit family nearby, and as boaters, love the marine atmosphere. They upgraded our room as well, so we could enjoy water vistas. The pool was huge, and warm, and the ammenities to food and shopping are superior. The main problem was that that for our entire 3 days, the internet was down. This was a major problem, which we brought to the managers attention, and she did absolutely nothing to accommodate us. Pretty disappointing knowing we are frequent visitors. In future, we will definately be comparing locations and prices.

Location and memories

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a quick birthday weekend getaway. The check in was easy and the front desk staff were super friendly. The bed was comfortable and the shower was clean. We appreciated the fridge & microwave. We went to Tiki Bar after dinner and took the free shuttle back to the hotel (great perk!). The pool is huge and we were glad we were able to swim before checking out. Definitely recommend staying here!

Apparently it’s due to close in October. The rooms are pretty clean except for the stained carpet. The hallways don’t get cleaned and the windows are very dirty. The pool is big and very nice with a lifeguard. Pretty sure they’re just biding their time until they Permanently close. No restaurant during the week but sat/sun they have a $16.95 buffet.

We attended a concert at PCN recently and this hotel was a perfect pick if you want to be within easy walking distance. Our room was clean, quiet and overlooked part of the marina. The staff was pleasing and helpful. We did not use the pool but it looked to be wonderful. We had dinner at Isaacs. The food was just OK. I do have a gluten allergy and our waitress was not aware of the foods you cannot eat. She checked with the chef on a couple options and came back saying there were about two things I could have on the menu and one of them had beer in it. Beer has gluten so apparently the chef is not aware either. I am always very happy to be able to eat anywhere and don't usually complain as the allergy is my problem not theirs. However, in this day and age, chef's and waitresses should at least be aware of food allergens. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area to visit as well. Overall, I was happy with our stay and would return.

Pros: Good location for concerts or sightseeing. Plenty of parking. Rooms were quiet, clean and beds comfortable. Cons: very dated and in need of a reno. Grounds not maintained, pool furniture broken, elevators out of service and not current on inspection, food from the restaurant is awful.

Nice location and great setting.Nice peaceful setting and conveniently quick getaway from DC. I am sorry to hear it will no longer exist after October. I wanted to return and bring friends. Staff was pleasant and helpful. It is nice to have places like the Inn and Resort to go to and rest from daily life. Hope they pop up somewhere reopened.

This is a just fine hotel for the location if you know what to expect. It is about to be sold into half hotel, half Sr center.

This property will be closing next year so I dont feel they are putting much effort into its condition. The staff was wonderful. It definitely needs a facelift.
