The hotel is really old and very dated, toilets are the really low kind, and shower head is really low too, if you're tall don't expect a good shower. Floors are warped and have some very bouncy spots, cracked tiles w/missing grout. Had to buy some fabreeze to spray everywhere a couple times, bad odor. Housekeeping made beds and left clean towels (somewhat). Bedding was clean and staff was friendly.

Stayed for a weekend for a concert. Hotel front desk was nice and straight forward. The hotel was nice and clean, didn’t have any problems with the stay. Complimentary breakfast was good.

The room rate was fair and very close to the venue.
I was very pleasantly suprised at how clean and well maintained the hotel was.
The best thing was the people. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was very nice and helpful.

This is our second time staying at the hotel. The best part is its central location. We never travelled more than 15km from the hotel to get to everything we wanted to see in San Diego. Staff was friendly. Room very clean. Breakfast could use a bit more variety and a waffle machine to be good.

When we arrived, the hallqay and room smelled so we had to sleep with the window open every night. We had hoped to have a hot tub but we knew going in it didnt have one but we did want ti swim. Thevpool was unclean and COLD! The breakfast was really good but limited selections.

Was nice to be there for 4 days. We getting to San Diego early Thursday we can’t not the room until 1:30 but the stuff never mention that we can update a membership to get the room early but they mention to another person web she try to get her room esrly. We call the office Saturday late because the next door people make a lot of noise but the front desk never do anything and my son have to knock the door and ask the people to stop making noise. Besides all this all was good. The house keeper always leave our room clean and smells good. Thank you!!

It was a basic, clean motel room. You really can’t complain certainly not at the price. Breakfast is not great but the fresh fruit and muffins are a good substitute for the usual hotel offerings. In all I’d stay again in the sane circumstances.

The biggest issue was that our keys didn’t keep their coding for more than a half an hour. If we used them right away they worked but otherwise - especially the next morning - not. This required the person whose name was on the reservation to repeatedly recharge cards for 4 people in two rooms, night & day.

The beds super comfortable. Hair conditioner in shower was actually shampoo, so no conditioner. Everything else was kinda old. Breakfast was really mediocre. Price was okay. Parking was convenient on property.

Rooms where clean except for the corner of the bathroom floor (needs good scrub and caulking). It was quiet. Breakfast was disappointing as they rotate what is served and in our days there was no scrambled eggs but omelets with peppers which hubby could not have. Parking was plentiful. Ok location in a business area by car dealers. Amenities nearby. Good location for quick access to attractions.

The hotel looked questionable, but it was clean enough and quiet. It is in a really convenient part of SD and the price was right, so I'd definitely stay again. We didn't eat breakfast there, so idk what that's like. The ice machine looked cursed (moldy).

Hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. We had one issue while checking in but the front desk handled it in short order. Hotel was surprisingly quiet in the morning as well. We did not spend a lot of time at the hotel as we were off at the beach all day but would stay again.

We arrived at probably 10pm. Everything was fine except the area walking to our room outside reeked of marijuana, which I didn’t appreciate having our small kids with us. I am unsure if it was a staff member or just another guest/passerby.
Otherwise everything was to be expected for what we paid. Not super “nice” room but everything was clean, and the breakfast was decent.

We had a pleasant stay, but room service wasn’t available after hours. Despite being told our room would be serviced when we removed the “Do Not Disturb” sign before leaving for the day, we returned to an uncleaned room. However, the staff were friendly, and the hotel overall was nice.

Our stay was comfortable and the property was as described. Check in was easy, room was small, but clean and comfortable. On site free parking was nice to have and location was convenient to the freeways and the beach / bay wasn't too far by car. Not a very pedestrian friendly area, but ok if you're basing your stay to nearby attractions. Plenty of amenities around or a short drive away.

Our stay at Green Tree Inn was pretty good. The queen beds were soft and comfortable. The bathroom was small but doable. I saw a sign for complementary breakfast. I thought to myself, probably be just a muffin and some applesauce. Nope, the breakfast was like a 5 star hotel. They had hot and cold breakfast. There was eggs, sausage, toast, biscuits and gravy, bagels, yogurt, apples, an assortment of cereals, orange and apple juice. Very nice spread and we were all shocked. All and all, pretty nice stay and will definitely come back to visit again.

It was ok. I read the reviews and knew I was going to go to a hotel that was old and outdated but I liked the price. The free parking was great and I internet signal was great too. Shampoo and body wash was great. Didn’t try the breakfast. The bed and sheets were comfy. The walls are thin but I’m not a light sleeper so it didn’t bother me. Front desk was nice. There was a smell but I couldn’t pinpoint it, may have came from the ac unit. Not sure if I would stay there again, it would depend on the price vs other places in the area. Great for families on a budget.

This was a great hotel for the price. The staff was great. The hotel is nice. The cleaning staff is great. You're kind of right on a busy road but can walk over to the Mission Bay waterpark. It only takes 15-30 minutes to get anywhere you might want to go.

Great for visiting San Diego. Very central to many places. Good breakfast. Nice rooms. Low water pressure in our room, though. NO fee to park overnight, like other places. Management needs to post "no sun lotion in pool" signs or have a shower to wash off before going in pool. Very close to Sea World. It's a good deal hotel. Enjoyed my stay.

First for the positive, The included breakfast was pretty darn good for a freebie. They provided eggs , sausage, hash brown, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee and juice. The room was fairly clean for the most part. My complaint was the carpet in the room. I didn't look dirty b/c it was a dark color. However after taking a shower and walking on the carpet u could tell it hasn't been cleaned in quite a while.

The pictures advertising this property are not as the property actually is. Our room smelled of urine and seemed dirty. The pool was surprisingly small. Maybe 8' x 8'.
The first morning we set out for the day and came back late afternoon, 3-4pm. I was surprised the room had not been made up. About 15 minutes later, they asked us to leave our room so they could clean it. The next day we put the hanger on the door requesting no service, but when we came back that afternoon, they were in the room cleaning!
The complimentary breakfast offered a good selection, and we were pleasantly surprised by that. Not enough to want to come back, though. Would not recommend staying here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Sergio Tremaine and Lewis were all wonderful the cleaning staff was super friendly and helpful as well. Breakfast was good nothing to write home about but filled us up with a lot of options. Rooms were clean...pool was small but to be honest it's not a hotel where you come for the pool it's big enough to basically sit and chill in. Walking distance to food and short Lyft to almost anywhere in San Diego. Wonderful experience will be back for sure.

Nothing to complain about here at all. Room was clean and fresh. Staff was friendly, room was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and not a lot of traffic. It was slightly dated in the hallways and the second parking area is really small and a pain to park in.
