Loved staying at Sunshine Suites and enjoyed being able to use the awesome beach amenities at the Westin! Would definitely recommend!

We were booked for a week at a timeshare on the East End. We stayed 1 night at Sunshine Suites which gave us 2 days on Seven Mile with easy access to the Westin’s beautiful beach for half of the price of the Westin. Everything was great at Sunshine Suites. The room was dated but clean though we didn’t spend much time there. Staff was friendly and efficient. Grounds were beautiful. Restaurant was highly rated; so we had dinner there which was good. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and restaurant with wonderful food. Check in and out was easy with your staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The service use of adjacent beachfront hotel is a major complement to this hotel/condo. I would gladly recommend this facility.

I liked the property, it was clean and well kept . The staff was exceptionally frendly, helpfull and courteous, especially Uchechi who went far and beyond to make sure i was comfortable. I Have recommended Sunshine Suite Resort and its affiliates to my colleague's back home in New York. Well done gyes , hope to see you again.

Food was excellent!

Warm welcome from the staff. The check in was smooth and efficient. The other staff members provided exceptional service as well. Having full access to the Westin Resort across the street is excellent. The only downside is the room definitely needs an upgrade to give it a modern touch.

Our favorite place and 4th time visiting. They are renovating one the buildings but it was never loud or intrusive in any way. Can’t wait to go back!

Room needed a little updating on furniture

Property is nice. Rooms were exceptionally clean. It was great to be able to use the amenities at Westin and the beach!

My stay for 16 nights, which included hurricane Beryl, was very enjoyable. Thanks to the helpful staff at the front desk and the Sunshine Grill. The restaurant is so convenient for guests staying at the hotel and every menu item I tried was delicious. The staff worked in concert with the Westin hotel to accomodate me for Wednesday, July 3rd and Thursday, July 4th to shelter in place for the hurricane. Both hotels communicated with guests frequently through the event and all utilities remained active. Sunshine Suites recovered quickly and was re-opened on Friday, July 5th. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The room was outdated and had a horrible smell. Our visit was cut short by one day due to the hurricane and the resort closing. During this frantic time I went to the office a couple of times to get some information and every time I went to the front desk I left feeling more stressed and upset. All the hotel wanted was more money from me. It was extremely noticeable that all this hotel was trying to capitalize on the situation. Now I’m jumping through hoops trying to even speak with someone to get a credit for the night we didn’t stay due to the hotel closing. The front desk made a scary and stressful situation worse. Do not stay here.

Clean and cozy. Staff was super nice. Quick walk over to the Westin to enjoy the beach. We had an amazing time celebrating our 26th Anniversary. We will book this stay again.

When booking this hotel I thought it was too good to be true that guests from Sunshine have access to the Westin beach, pool and fitness facilities at no extra charge. Well, it was true and it was terrific!! What a great bonus! And we even signed all of our meals and drinks to our room at Sunshine. We would definitely stay here again for that reason! Sunshine was fine for sleeping and getting ready for festivities in.. the AC was excellent and kept us nice and cool. No issues with shower. Sunshine Grill was cute and had good happy hours and a couple TVs to catch some hockey and soccer action. The resident roosters and chicks were cute and never woke us up too early - just keep the AC cranked! Only complaint would be no safe in room which is odd but no issues with our valuables - felt like it was very safe. Thank you SS for a great stay.

This was my second stay at this property. The staff is exceptional. The grounds are kept very beautifully. The rooms are slightly outdated, but very clean and comfortable mattresses. They are very quick to respond to any requests. Having access to the sister property is the best part of staying at Sunshine. The location is perfect, and the Sunshine Grill is excellent. There are also a couple of reasonably priced restaurants right in front of the property that have great food. I have nothing but great things to say about this place!

The first room we had smelled extremely musty. The bathtub plug wouldn't plug in bathroom so we had to have maintenance come in. We had to switch rooms due to unbelievably loud teenage boys that could not be kept under control all hours of the night even after calls to the front desk. They were literally screaming and throwing each other into the walls. The second room had a spring sticking out of one of the mattresses and my husband cut his leg open (bleeding) on it and ripped a huge slice in his favorite pants. The front desk didn't even care. There's a young girl working up there that acts like she cares about nothing and like guests are a nuisance to her. They came and changed the mattress but never even tried to contact us to offer anything for his pain or loss. Would never stay here again.

Hidden gem. The location is just off the beach but well worth the short walk to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly. I would book again.

I am an avid solo traveler and most of the time when I travel to the country I prefer an Airbnb. Decided on a hotel last minute because this was the last-minute trip. This was an excellent choice. It’s an easy drive from the airport, it’s a minute walk across the street to the Westin, where you can enjoy the beach and all the amenities for half the price of a room there. The rooms were clean and the addition of a small kitchen was Clutch. I found that the restaurant food at the hotel was good and the pool was a good place to also relax and do some remote work which I did as well. It was also super convenient to one of the best sushi spots on the island, a small minimart liquor store, and even a spot to get a massage. It is also very convenient for public transportation, which I did for the first time on this trip and was very impressed with its efficiency and low cost. It was also the first time I traveled here without a car and I would definitely stay here again. .

This is the second time in two months we have stayed here. Highly recommend.

This was a good choice for an overnight stay between flights. The on -site dining is good. But the coffee will take a layer of enamel off your teeth!

Would recommend! Loved the access to the Westin. Room was clean, spacious, and met all our needs. Front desk staff was wonderful and helpful. They were able to accommodate a late check out as well which was much appreciated!

I found my stay to be just fine. The resort was dated, but it was extremely clean! It was nice that you were able to use the Westin resort which is where we spent all of our days, their beach was clean and beautiful. I felt that we were in a walkable area and if there was a place that was a little far, taking the public bus was a breeze.

I had an outstanding experience from start to finish! The staff was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home the moment I arrived and maintaining that warm hospitality until I departed. The restaurant on-site was perfect for grabbing quick, delicious bites—each meal was a treat. Additionally, the location couldn't be better; just a 5-minute walk from the beach allowed for spontaneous seaside strolls. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a friendly, convenient, and enjoyable stay!

I like that you could use the Weston Facilities

The best value stay in Grand Cayman with low prices, great service, and exceptional accessibility to Seven Mile Beach. Britney and Ella were outstanding.
