The resort is very nice the beach is very clean, they work on the beach all day removing glasses and straightening lounge chairs and seaweed from the shore. Love the attractions on the beach they cook, many games that the staff gets everyone involved. My only issue with the beach area the only towel hut is by the pool which is a distance from the beach. The pool area is also kept clean and the entertainment and music is fun as well. The bar staff of very attentive.
As for the night entertainment it’s not much but a good place to get to know the other guest at the resort

The property os somewhat run down and could use modernization, updates and a fresh coat of paint in common areas.

This is my third time visiting this location. This time I took my children with me. We are all happy with the service, food and amenities. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They need to address room maintenance and cleaning issues prior to guest arrivals. Some standard rooms had outdated bathrooms. Buffet restaurant was warm and some foods were not at the right temperature. Food variety was good. Did not appreciate pool bar service was self service only. Pool area was nice. I was surprised that the star camp only allowed toddlers for an hour a day. However, the theater kid show was fun and kids enjoyed it

There are cats in the restaurant. The food is cold and horrible. The staff are not friendly. The rooms are small needs to be renovated.

Terrible service and reception staff was rude. Did not get the room I paid for. She purposely separated my family through the hotel.

Second time here , its my go to resort when i visit my wifes family in santiago. I believe iberostar is the best resort in puerto plata. I dont have anything negative to say its a small resort with everything you need .

There should be light upon going to the rooms in the night time after dinner or disco night it’s always dark and unsafe you don’t know what can happen while walking to the room .

The staff were friendly , the food was good, but the hotel needs to update , everything looks old , the room was terrible, beds old, poor air conditions. The bathroom was old, even the garbage can was moldy.the room smells like moldy. The beach was dirty. I would not go back there again.

They gave us the worst rooms, the air conditioners didn't work, they don't care about the customers, I don't recommend that resort to anyone.
