Genuinely I stay in a lot of 5* hotels the world over, this however surprised me. It was actually everything it was advertised to be, and in Doncaster of all places. Wouldn’t be out of place in central London, wonderful stay.

Decided to self-quarantine for a mild case of Covid. Very comfortable place to do so. Great full breakfast at restaurant & as room service.

Its a great hotel to use as a base for the races. only a 10 minute walk. Close to town as well. Room was all we needed, clean and in a good state of repair.

This is a great hotel, with great staff. The menu could do with being refreshed occasionally.

Lovely 1920s themed hotel. Staff were really nice and chatty. 10 min stroll into the shops. I would definitely stay again. Didn’t eat in the restaurants.

All looks a bit naff. Not enough seats in the bar area. Service ok, but not the best. Wouldn't book again in a hurry, but it served a purpose. Not sure what all the fuss is about and the good reviews - it was pretty average overall.

what a gem! very plain exterior but inside is a tribute to the art deco era. my room was stunning and unusual. staff were extremely efficient and friendly. food excellent.

This hotel is really nice but what makes it even better were the helpful staff. Special thanks to the lady on reception and also to the staff at breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

It's a really cool art deco style hotel which is a fun departure from the sanitised experience of a Premier Inn or other chain hotels. My room was small but well decorated with basic amenities. You're a short walk to the town centre and there are parks nearby.

Every staff member provided welcoming and excellent attention throughout our stay and noticeably were very well dressed. Breakfast and Dinner meals were superb. Highly recommend this hotel if staying near or in Doncaster.

The bath creaked a lot whilst stood in it and the aircon didn’t work very well but other than that loved it.

Unique hotel art deco themed. Beautiful and everyone is very accommodating and friendly.

Superb decor with great attention to detail. Rooms were really nice though the shower was awful with poor water pressure that kept stopping flow (maybe when the room next door used at same time). Reception & restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.

Have stayed here quite a few times , always a brilliant stay , we ate in the restaurant this time which was very disappointing.

Average hotel, nicely decorated but a little grubby

I had been upgraded , which was lovely but unfortunately there was water leaking in through the ceiling then I was put back into a standard room which was very small but clean in my opinion the hotel does need a refurbishment

It is always good we use it every time we come to Doncaster

We have stayed here many times in the past and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Doncaster. The hotel is fantastic with a good range of facilities. I would highly recommend

Once again lovely stay at The Earl of Doncaster, great room clean and tidy and a great sleep. The food in dinning room excellent recommend the steaks fantastic. Breakfast also first class. However I have to mention that the seating in particular the bench style that is around the room needs to be refurbished or have a leather cleaning company rejuvenate them. Starting to let the room look shabby which is a shame. The staff in dinning too are a delight and go out of their way to ensure everything is just right. All in all very good just a bit of TLC on the leather required. We will be back.
