I’ve stayed before and it’s perfect for a stopover. Another friendly welcome at reception Clean and spacious rooms. with comfy beds. Quality toiletries and paper! Safe parking and plenty of eating options and Waitrose.

Clean, comfortable and well maintained. Having a central light as well as side lights was very welcome, as this feature is so often missing in modern hotels. Despite being adjacent to the M54 it was also surprisingly quiet

The room we had was well equipped and very clean. The blackout curtains were excellent and definitely needed as we were on the ground floor. The staff were also kind and friendly.
The outside space is stressful and busy as it is part of the motorway services. We had to keep our window open as it was so hot and the traffic/talking noises disrupted sleep. I would request an upper floor next time.
The prices in the service station next door are extortionate!

Had to change room as booked an accessible room by mistake. The manager kindly got us a good room and helped us move. Good for what we needed.

I liked the cleanliness and comfort.
It was convenient for my needs and the receptionist in the morning Sunday 19th May was courteous and helpful.
Dislikes; Due to an ongoing glitch on the website I booked accidentally on the 16th. .makes This is because the date return to the date the booking is being made after the selections are made by default. I then had to pay £98 to have a room.
The bath was stained. Other that it was good.

Do not book room 123. There was noise coming from fuel station and we were tired and could not sleep. Requested to change the room but young man at the front desk didn’t seem helpful. He was very defensive about our complaint and took no action. I will never stay at this hotel ever!

At 1:30 AM staff put something in microwave and left it there , burnt and catches fire and triggered fire alarm and was not able to turn off the fire alarm for more than 30 mins , everyone has to come out of the hotel , couldn’t sleep again , infact it was not fit for purpose and needed a refund

I understand fire alarms need to go off. The hotel and all guests were woken late at night by a false alarm! I would have expected an apology or at least some comment by the staff, grouped at reception talking to each other, as a left the hotel after a sleepless night!

The room was fine the bathroom needs a bit of an update .
You need to get rid of the old baths and get shower cubicles in the bathroom instead.

The rooms had a terrible smell and the bathroom had a foul stench.
Despite requesting the room to be changed, other rooms had a similar foul smell on same floor. Settled for the least offensive one but the bathroom exhaust fan was not working in any room.
Terrible experience and request hotel to provide a refund of one night as stench on first day was terrible.

The property is just off the m54. Despite this its very quiet and quite central to everything. The decor is a bit dated and needs the flooring in the bathroom looking at. The bed wasn't as comfy as I would have liked but it was a good one. I like softer pillows but all in all we had a good nights sleep.

Stayed here for easy access to the polar express, cheap and cheerful although bed a little uncomfortable, only 2 sets of towels for 3 of us and only 1 spare pillow

The spare pillows in bad were disgusting and dirty, the room was dirty, the beds were so hard not even my son slept, had to use the duvet off the single bed to put on the double bed so he could get comfortable. I’d expect this from a £35 b&b

Clean and tidy room and good location.
Rooms closest to service centre shops extremely noisy in the early hours of the morning due to deliveries, don't expect to sleep beyond 5 am.
