Great location near train station, but no hot water.

Property is not safe (room keys and personal documents are just left at the front desk unattended) and staff are not polite or respectful. No internet for 3 days and they neglected to notify us.

Transportation

The thing I did not like is that there is no wifi in the rooms, we had to go to the lobby to use the internet.

We liked… that we’re able to leave our luggage before our check in, they allowed us to used their bathroom and change clothes. The staff was helpful. Bus 6 to Venezia was only 3-4 min walk same as the T2 to and from Mestre area. If you didn’t buy your $35 for transportation you can buy it at the same price at the liquor store around the corner. The room had a new AC unit, provided 4 towels and small pouches of shampoo and soap bar. The bed was comfortable and big. We did not liked… the walk via google maps in a underground path with people doing drugs. (Behind a locked fence) we learned that you can take a shortcut from the train stations. The place is old, the rooms had mold on ceiling and tile and they smell to humidity. Read closely an iron it’s not available. Conclusion: we only used it to shower and sleep. We’ll not stay here again due to the mold and humidity in the room.

The only thing that really made this a good stay was the proximity to the train station - fantastic access to Venice!!

Old, rather worn hotel. Hard beds, small bedroom and small bathroom. Friendly staff. Good location right next to good food and a direct bus route to Venezia. Fairly decently priced for the area.

Not clean the rooms no refrigerator and the towel are supposed to be changed, same towel 4 day and your microwave is derty please improved your service am not coming back to your hotel anymore the hotel dose not what the money.

Its clean and the staff are friendly. The only i dont like they dont have lift so my elderly need to take stairs and we need to carry our 2 luggage go up to the room. The room is fine for the amount you paid for. But the room smell of cigarettes so we need to spray perfume. Even after we came out from outside the room smell cigarette. The toilet ceiling is broken anytime can drop. The place is quite and easy access to bus and train going to venice. Overall don't expect to much to the price you paid for.

The hotel location is perfect.The room was clean and comfortable. We liked our stay.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and nice. The location is very close to public transit and the train station. Having said that, the hotel itself is extremely dirty and needs a serious deep cleaning, as well as updating. The shower, walls, and sheets had mystery stains. The location seemed fairly busy as well, so street noise as well as noise from the hallways and hotel were very loud. Good for a one night stay for the price but would recommend spending a little more for a better hotel..

This is a very simple hotel / hostel cheap with no frills. It was overall clean, however the toilet bowl had not been clean at all

Very loud at night. No restaurant, not 2 bars, aircodition is on or off, you cant choose temperaturen. Water in shower sprayas everywhere. Good bus connection to Venice. Smells like smoke. Dirty backyard, no garden. Good parking Lots of mosquitos.

THAT STAFF WAS NICE BUT THE OTHER THINGS NEEDED ATTENTION. THE TV DIDN'T WORK. IT CAME ON BUT NO SIGNAL. THE BATHROOM COULD'VE BEEN CLEANER. OTHER THAN THAT, IT WAS JUST A ROOM.

The price and extreme proximity to Venice.Literally a 10 minute bus ride.

Late check in available. Seems to be an overall problem to check in after sunset in Italian and French Riviera

24/7 reception was convenient and there was a nearby bus to get straight into Venice. The lack of air conditioning made it a very uncomfortable night and tired morning.

Clean place in a "real neighborhood" of what looks like a "blue collar" neighborhood of Venice. It's a 15 minute bus ride from the Grand Canal area, so if you want to stay in main area of Venice, the tourist side, this is not for you. So, if you're looking for authentic Italy neighborhood (lovely mom & pop restaurant nearby) it's a good fit. If you are expecting Venice style and panache, this is not for you. Very basic hotel, clean and good breakfast croissants.

The waiters are very kind. And the hotel is well located, the train station is just five minutes on foot away where you can take the train to the city center of Venice in 10 minutes. There is also the bus very nearby for the airports.

Their is no words for how bad this hotel is,because as long as the hotel keep filling the rooms up with people they dont care about nothing else,the elevator had not been cleaned in five years.i had to get my own blanket out of the hallway closet that was piled up with junk Wi-Fi only in lobby that is always crowded and noisy, and on and on with problems,

I am so bed. It was horrible hotel. I couldnt stay at Columbia hotel. Here was many drank people and wasnt any attention. And one drunk boy was allowed to sleep in my room and i was so afraid. There wasnt curtain and everyone could see what i was doing in my room.Also i needed to go at firts floor for wife and only here was possible to connect with the internet. I think it doesnt matter if you stay in the street at night or in hotel Columbia. Here wasnt clean room, no attention, and so on....

Airconditioning wasn’t working well properly so was very hot but apart from this, it was Ok.

The hotel is located in a great area. It is a 5 minute walk from the train station that goes to Venice. The private rooms (which we had) appeared clean and had AC. The staff was very very helpful and always had a smile on their face. There were a couple problems. One, the WiFi is only available in the lobby. Two, which is a major one, upon further inspection, I found bed bugs under the mattress which was horrific.

One of the hosts (young male) was very good; he knew he was the host; he had some sense of humor. But the lady who was there at the time of my check-in and check-out always seemed highly preoccupied with something on the computer. She seemed to be senior to the young man but didnt seem to have any love for her work. No toilet papers. The lift would stopped working. The mosquitoes kept biting the guests. The guests could be seen clapping all the time to kill the mosquitoes. I hope I dont get malaria. This hotel needs serious improvement! The AC was very good! The best thing was the price. No hotel in Venice can be found at the prices that this one offers. The location is also great! Very close to everywhere, literally everywhere!

I enjoyed the stay. The staff members in the reception helped me with all questions with a positive attitude. We did not receive such great service anywhere else during our visit to Italy. Great job! Recommended.

Old and in major need of updating. The only saving grace was air conditioning. Firstly the room, the place is run down and the ceiling in the bathroom was held together with tape. The room wasn’t cleaned, and the floor had soooo much dirt and dust that it seemed like it hadn’t been swept or mopped in month, years if that. Every time I walked to the bathroom in the room and back to bed I would see black stains at the foot of my bed from the dirt on the floor on my feet.Facilities, they say they have a laundry available but DONT USE IT!!! The washing machine is so old that it doesn’t even wash properly, when I took my cloths out they were all still dirty, but just smelled a little nicer because of the tide pod. I had to get them to give me more tokens to re-wash but that still didn’t do the trick, I ended up having to go to a laundry at the next city I visited to wash them properly. On the site it mentioned that wifi is available but only in the lobby which is a little tedious having to come down 3 levels just to use wifi.I paid for ‘linen & towels’ but was never given a towel had to go down to reception and mention it until she reluctantly handed over the goods. All in all this was not a good place to stay, won’t be returning
