It may be an older decor hotel but my family enjoys it. Clean and quiet rooms. Kids enjoy the pool. Reasonably price!

Beds are small i had double deluxe room but we git 2 full size bads and for one person is not so bad ( eve though beds are very light and moving if you turn) but fir 2 peope bed us to small and pillows are too flat .... i ebtered when i was reserving 3 people and still got 2 full instead 2 queen beds 😔

Wonderful front desk staff! They helped us with every question and request. The breakfast had many options- hot and cold food. Pool was fun for the kids and the hot tub was large. We definitely will be back!

No bags were provided for our wet swimming suits:-( no hand soap in the room. Didn't care for the walk from the cottage to the pool in the cold fall evening.. we have staid here before and really enjoyed it before . Not quite as much this time but still a nice place to stay

We love this hotel! I love having whirlpool bathtubs in my room as it is so relaxing!! It’s always clean, and my go-to place for a retreat!! We love it here

We had a wonderful night celebrating our anniversary here. The room was perfect. Only complaint we had was the bed was firmer than we like. It was fairly quiet for a Saturday night with young football players as guest and it seemed pretty packed.

My wife reserved our suite a month in advance. Showed up to the hotel just to find out they gave our room away. So they gave us another standard room. Nothing worked in the room. Terrible experience!

Going back to my home state for a weekend work visit. The location for this hotel made it a good choice for us. It's a neat property in it feels like a lodge feel with modern amenities and a great indoor/ outdoor pool and hot tub. Excellent breakfast. Would definetely consider staying here again.

I’ve stayed here multiple times. The rooms are clean. It’s quiet. It’s safe. However, we could not get the humidity out of our room and it was horrible. Just felt like everything was damp.

We waited for 10 minutes in the lobby to be checked in and no one was around.

Nice stay while traveling, Front desk staff was super nice, and when heard we were tired from driving all day said, “I’m giving you a room on then that is nice and quiet. Loved that the property was dog friendly. Our bed was just ok. It kind of sank in the middle. But other than that, all was good.

The hitting was broke, pool freezing (was told it was temperature controlled but not sure if this is true, since half of it is outside). Carpet was torn and a tripping hazard coming out of the bathroom. And paid through the app, but needed a credit card for incidentals, which was only $25 but they ended up charging the whole amount again when I checked out. Breakfast was good tho!!

Love the country cabin feel. The bartender in the bar (sorry I forgot her name) she was absolutely amazing. Gave great recommendations for dinner places and made incredible drinks!

Loved the Whirlpool in the room. Very spacious. Comfortable beds. But could hear kids running around all morning and people filling up their tubs next door. Otherwise good place to stay! Would come again

Overall, this was a nice place and we would stay again. Some areas were a little worn, but not terrible. Pool area was well maintained. Convenient location with multiple restaurants within walking distance. Very pet friendly. The only two real complaints we had were the exercise room was very hot and our room could have used a dehumidifier.

Horrible experience. Room smelled musty and old. The pool was so crowded my kids couldn’t swim. There were also kids throwing chairs in the pool and no one did anything about it. Will never go back to this hotel.

Loved the Colorado feel of the hotel. We did not travel with children, but there is a lovely pool that has swimming inside and outside. Staff was all very friendly.

Front desk staff very polite and helpful. Parking lot, common areas, the pool and rooms were all very clean. Love the Moose mascot in the water feature as you drive up. The kids call him "Jared" and are always excited to see him. Great place to stay!

The suite we booked was perfect for the size of our party and the kids enjoyed the themed bunk bed and the room was spacious.

We always enjoy staying here as it has a nice sized pool for the kids that is an inside/ outside pool. Only a disappointment if there is a lightning storm the pool will close due to this feature. But we have remained lucky to enjoy it! Rooms are clean.

I came down to breakfast at around 8 am with my grandkids and there was no pancake mix and no coffee. Went to front desk and the gals that worked in the kitchen area and the front desk clerk were visiting in an office nearby. I had to inform them that others were waiting for pancakes and coffee.

I traveled with my 2 daughters & 2 of their friends for a 2 night stay. Right off the bat... great location! Close to dining, gas stations, and shopping. Hotel is beautiful, staff was super friendly from check in to check out. Housekeeping did a great job, very efficient and friendly as well. Breakfast was great both mornings, they had a good variety of cereals, yogurts,
hot foods, & drinks. The girls loved the room, the hotel layout and the pool area. (They are all 11 & 12 year olds) This will definitely be our go-to place when we are in the Des Moines/Johnston area for a stay! 😁😁😁😁
