A bit tired. Heater controls in room but they don't work. They've fitted radiators which I only found afternoon messing around the the old systems controls. Parking would be a challenge to climb the stairs for older or lesser Mobile people who aren't disabled as such

A colleague from reception was very helpful when my heating wasn't working in my room. He immediately had the radiator checked and when discovered it wasn't working, he sourced a small heater for the room.

All the staff were great and very very helpful, sadly our room (110) had no heating so we were supplied with a electric heater, worse still there was no heated towel rail in the bathroom not nice to walk on cold tiles in the middle of the night. When the room was cleaned our wet towels were folded up and put on top of the toilet cistern, when returning to our room late on saturday evening we found wet hand towels so I checked the bath towels WET dried them on the electric heater enough for the mornig. A very sad week-end.

The hotel is situated next to a Manor house, very nice reception area and staff are friendly. Rooms on small side but cosy.

I was travelling for work. The room was clean and comfortable. I ate in the bar, the selection on the menu was okay. The food was good without being exceptional.

Whilst understanding safety considerations re.
radiator, a means to move bed further into room away from wall on one side should be attempted. For older guests, having no access to bed on their side is both uncomfortable and potentially dangerous. Otherwise all perfect.

The room was small and hot and we paid more than previous stay 2 weeks' earlier. The windows were in dire need of renewing - the vacuum in the double glazing was filled with condensation and the window opening mechanism was broken.

The hotel was fine and the staff were really helpful and welcoming. The issue is that the hotel is so hot and the air conditioner in the room is merely a slow fan; it was not fun for sleeping in the room. They do give you a fan but it has a short cord and there are only 2 sockets to plug it in on the far side of the room. Won't be staying here again sadly unless it is in the depths of winter

I stayed at this hotel shortly after it opened. It has been maintained to the same high standard. The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful.

The hotel doesn’t claim to have AC and whilst there was a control panel in our room it was very ineffective. A desk fan was also provided which did provide some cooling

Was greeted pleasantly with a smile and was checked in quickly. Reception dealt promptly with my queries. Food in hotel was good and service was as expected. Good choices on the menu, and a good selection of drinks, all be it , a little pricey, but I expect that from these places. Hotel has plenty of parking. Room was small but sufficient for me. air con and heating worked. Everything is good quality but I felt there could have been at least a plug or phone socket by side of bed. But just a minor inconvenience and meant I wasn’t glued to my phone at night ! Overall a very nice stay, and I will book again in the future.

Michael the night receptionist was very kind to my son who was not feeling very well in the night and he should get great feed back. All the staff were lovely and very helpful.

No hand rail to walk up the three steps outside also a grab rail would be very useful on the tiles around bath to steady yourself in the shower and help you in and out the bath.
Also the option of a step to help older people access into the bath. That’s what I have at home , to help me in and out .

The room was ok. However, it is not suitable for us. There was no bedside table on my side and only 1 ft of space to allow me to get into bed . I therefore had to put my glasses on the floor!!!. Couldn't run the risk of of placing a glass of water also. Not at all suitable for anyone who is not agile or mobile.

The parking was good, and staff very polite and helpful but my room was awful, TV didn't work properly,window glazing unit failed so couldn't see through it.And lighting and controls poorly designed.Cant turn on from bed.
