Hotel was old and dated, which we expected. There were some stains on the walls, wife went to sit on the bed and it tilted on that side and raised about 2 feet on other side. Chairs were broken and very unstable, we would not even let our twin 2 year old grandchildren use the chairs.

Thes hotel was one of many on a road trip. It was fine for the one night stay. Had all the things you need, and the staff was friendly.

This hotel should of said "DAYS OF HELL INN" so the check in was easy with hotels .com but the room...they try to put lip stick on a pig by making everything white but stains on things like the bedspread peeling paint in the bathroom dog food on the floor from the last renter,but the thing that takes the cake is the carpet.it was so nasty and I mean you walk from the door to the bathroom and from carpet to white time and your show print in black wet mess would be on the tile.look im not a rich person i just work for a living and not a germafobe either but this place is gross

The room had a very comfortable bed and we were thankful for a roof over our heads. The building needed maintenance inside and outside, and considering how much the deposit was for our dog, they had no facilities to walk her safely. The parking lot could not accommodate the number of rooms, so we parked behind the building in the dark.

The pictures reflect a brand new building, maybe from when they opened in the 70's. However the reality is it doesn't look like the building has been touched since then. The towel rack was hanging off the wall, the window curtain didn't fit. We kept it closed with a chip clip. The walls were stained and splattered. Our room didn't even have a smoke detector. Code violation?? We cut our trip short and only stayed one night. However, the housekeeping staff did a good job trying to make guests comfortable. Clean linens and bathroom. But you can slap lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig.

The carpet was dirty. There was stuff on the sheets. Parking lot and sidewalk dirty. Not safe area. Left and got another hotel at the Country Lodge - nice and clean. They charged us for the night because we “ didn’t notify them in 30 minutes.”

The photos make it look like it’s up dated. But it’s not. It’s in serious need of deep clean at a minimum. Stains on the curtains. Dirty walls.

Not much to like. Only one bulb in light over sink, carpet torn by bath and wooden strips with tacks exposed, TV did not function properly and breakfast was a joke.

Our wifi I our room was terrible, could not use our devices because the signal was so weak. Also the TV did not work properly, could not get signal, and when we did if you change the channel we lose the signal.
One more thing, I want to thank Cristy for all her help with our situation, she did everything in her power to help us.

The hotel did the trick. We didn’t want to spend any time there, lighting was poor in the room and it felt dingy. The breakfast was laughable, but the sleeping accommodations met our needs.

Staff in office was wonderful and very helpful. But that is the only positive thing to say. Property is very dingy and run down...tattered, ripped carpet, disgusting mini fridge that froze everything, microwave didn't work, TV/remote never worked properly (even a replacement remote), tub faucet was not fully functional and poorly installed (i.e. sticking out of the wall), dirty and/or stained walls, stains on ceiling tiles, etc.... I simply cannot recommend this facility despite the wonderful desk staff.

I would stay AGAIN!!! honestly it was a walk from downtown, amazing pizza/icecream shop Buckees across the street. A bbq joint across the parking lot, the pool is not heated but well kept and cute bungalow area around the pool. It was super quiet honestly. Id definitely stay agaim. Breakfast was great waffles and donuts/coffee. Staff was super friendly. Hotel is old and the rooms have a pretty gross musky smell (even made some of my clothes smell that way) so bring AIR freshner! Small tvs but they work. The room and bathroom was honestly super clean just looked old/outdated walls and cielings. But id say the cleanliness besides smell was 8/10 NO hairs in the tub or bed (and thats hard to do!) . Loved this hotel..

Staff were very rude when I showed them the bed bug my husband and I had in our room. They would not give a refund, and would not contact the manager. When I called the manager, I had to leave a message. STILL haven’t heard back from them. I had photos and the bed bug it’s self wrapped in a napkin. I was a horrible experience. 😢

Room and hotel was clean. But could use better maintenance. Tiles in room off the wall amongst other items around hotel. As a whole it was a fine place to stay for the value.

This was the worst motel I have stayed in. It was nasty dirty, the walls had nasty stuff all over them. The bathroom had mold on the floor. It was just nasty, the best thing about this place was the two ladies we checked in and out with. Excellent manners and very helpful. That’s what this place has going for it.

Had to ask for things rather than them being in the room. I received them without question, but figured they would be in the room, washcloths, blow dryer. And the ice machine was out of order.

Possibly the worst breakfast area I've ever seen in the sort of budget motel that includes breakfast. One doesn't expect high cuisine, but it would be nice to see more options than doughnut holes, mini-muffins, and instant waffles. Maybe some toast or bagels? Yogurt? Orange juice? Would also like to have had a washcloth and something in the bathtub to help alleviate slippage. Some of the electrical outlets were non-functional.

A few light bulbs are out and random switches that do nothing. The bathroom has obvious water damage that was painted over. It's quite dated but that was expected for the price I suppose. The floor in the breakfast room was extremely sticky. It's ok to clean the mop between uses. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's clear the owners cheap out as much as possible. The bed was comfy and bug free.(Always check the bed no matter what)

A bit dirty in areas of the room. 3 of 4 lights in wash sink area did not work. Difficulty getting wifi to connect. NO luggage stand for my suitcase. FREE breakfast juice machine out of order. Staff was very good. Overall I would give it a 5 on a scale of 10.

The room was clean but the remote control to the TV would not work, the hot water knob on the shower was falling off and they gave you 3 coffee pods and 1 creamer. There was no wash cloths in the bathroom

The bathroom smelled like urine and it appeared to have multiple trails of dried urine on the front of the toilet. Our ceiling tile was falling inward above our bed. The floors weren’t vacuumed well or at all. Bugs everywhere and the A/C flared some sort of allergic reaction. There were also wasps a flying all over the pool area. We almost got another hotel room for the night but was too tired.

Not the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but definitely lacking in any kind of appeal. The area around the hotel wasn’t great, the room smelled like mildew and body odor, and there was random hair in and around the bathroom areas. We could see the daylight through the crack in the door so not the most secure feeling. The bed wasn’t terribly uncomfortable though so that’s a plus. I’d find somewhere else to stay if I pass through Montrose again.

Outdated. The areas behind the bed carpet was filthy. No washrags. The front desk informed me they don’t automatically put washrags in the rooms you have to ask for them at the front desk.
One of the plug in outlets was broken and a big hole on the top.
The breakfast area was very limited on food items.
