Right when you step in the hotel, it smells moldy/musky. Same with the elevators and some in the hallways.

Having stayed at Baymonts before, I had higher expectations. To be clear, the room itself was grand, large, with excellent and ample furnishings, chairs, a fine desk, and a very nice balcony. The bed was great, comfortable. But everything in this hotel is dated and it shows. The power outlets were sparse, worn, & loose. The HVAC is poor to awful. Too cold or too hot, no comfortable range - because the thing is old and worn, it cannot keep up. But it does work. The free-standing lamp did not work. The TV is tiny. This place badly needs a facelift. New electrical connections - outlets, USB ports, and USB C ports. The doors, shades, etc, all need modernizing. But for the price, you cannot do better than this. Very nice

The only thing that makes this visit not a perfect one was that it was during a biker’s rally that was held on the same weekend that I was there. The hotel was very busy but it was very nice and I felt good about the way the hotel was prepared and the fact that I was able to feel comfortable and secure.

Needed better pillows. Numerous small repairs needed attention: 1 lamp didn’t work. Another usb port didn’t work. One lamp bulb burned out. AC very noisy. Neither tub nor sink stopper worked. Ice machine on floor missing. No tv remote. Very poor tv reception. No meat or eggs at breakfast.

Easy and friendly check in. Had a bit of a issue with some ants in the bathroom, couldn't reach front desk by phone so went to the front desk and a staff member came immediately and took care of the problem. Had nothing to do with lack of cleanliness, they came out of the plug in plate on wall. Nice breakfast selection and breakfast area.

1) one of the worst beds. Could not sleep past 2am, 2) very noisy air conditioning, 3) very limited selection for breakfast. We went to Waffle House.

We have stayed here before and it was good enough to return. Rooms are clean, staff is professional and polite and they provide a good breakfast with options. The only negative is the cost of parking on site ($35 a day I believe)? It felt a bit like being gauged. $20 would be at least reasonable for a guest. It is in a prime location; a couple blocks from the Riverwalk and The Alamo, so it is somewhat understandable. And, I would stay here again.

We had a good stay all EXCEPT the d fact that it was impossible to sleep past 8-9 am because either the staff or a very disrespectful family that would SLAM their door REPEATEDLY over & over that literally shook the whole building!!! I mean this was not just one door slamming one time, it was over & over from about 8 am to 11 am!! Very very aggravating!!! I mean come on people, have some f*#cking respect for other people. Which now that I think about it, it had to have been the staff beginning to clean the rooms or something. Like, hey get up & out so we can clean the rooms. Idk & can’t be for sure which one was the problem but it definitely made me not want to stay there again. Good luck people!!
