Excellent place to stay when you visit Puebla 🇲🇽

Amazing room and hotel

Our first room, although beautifully appointed, was on the corner of the hotel near a busy intersection. So it was very noisy, even during the night, impacting our sleep. The next day we contacted hotel mgmt and they were very accommodating. They allowed us to change our room to one further from the intersection. Much quieter and restful. The second room was another suite, also beautifully decorated. The Casona is conveniently located in the Centro of Puebla just a few blocks from the zocalo and the cathedral. Breakfast was included, although the morning service was a bit spotty.

One of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. My beautiful room had stylish décor and extravagant bathroom. Each morning it was a great pleasure to have breakfast in the lovely courtyard, featuring seasonal fruit, toast, egg dishes, juice and coffee. Most importantly, the hotel staff members were experts in customer service. Unfortunately, I had a personal emergency during my stay. The hotel manager and restaurant manager went out of their way to show tremendous kindness to me, which I will never forget. I am fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful hotel.

Previously we have stayed at other properties which also were very nice but this property really shines in comparison. The service was second to none. The food was exceptional and we couldn't have been happier with the location, close to everything but still peaceful and not swamped with people. On our next visit we will definitely come back. The hotel was a perfect location next to the Zocalo where the Cathedral and State Buildings are located. Puebla has grown in the last 10 years and transports you to the past culture while highlighting modern technology, lighting, and safety. There are many restaurants near by you can go for traditional Poblano food, tacos, or a late night coffee or drink. It is perfect for any age. Our staff was attentive to every need from food, taxis, and our room services. We've decided to always come back here when stopping in Puebla. It felt like home.

Nice Hotel located near zocalo. Breakfast is starting at 8am and served in a beautiful atmosphere.

We couldn't have liked this small, boutique hotel more. It's uniquely Mexican with all the comforts of home! One warning, the friendly staff does not speak much English so be ready, and patient!

This colonial home surrounding a courtyard is only a long block from the zocalo. Our suite on the second floor had a modern bath and a wooden floor that creaked when you walked across its polished surface. The breakfast, served in the courtyard, was excellent and included in the price of the room.

Beautifully restored small hotel with a great restaurant (for authentic traditional mexican food). Excellent breakfasts. Staff tries hard to please, even if their English varies. Some rooms facing street are noisy.

People are very friendly the room es comfy the food is great .I like that is so close to all places in donwtown.

Amazingly beautiful boutique hotel right next to a church and the center of the historic center. We stayed there for three days. The town is really nice, people are friendly and the food is excellent.

We had a wonderful stay with Casona De La China Poblana. The room and services are superb and the food is amazing! For all three meals a day, they have live music playing in the background. What a pleasant surprise. Pls note: the check-in time is 3pm so don't be disappointed if you arrive early. Check-out time is later than usual as well - 1pm.

La Casona de la China Poblana has a lot of History, ask who was " La China" and you will like to write a book about her. Is located two blocks from the main city plaza. The staff is really friendly, we were received with a smile, we where going to stay one night, but we changed our mind, when we realized that we need it more time to check the city, churches, etc, and they were really courteous and got us a room for a second night, which says a lot for the service....the food is really high class Mexican Cusine specially at Dinner, try the little " empanaditas" filled with "queso fresco" or plantain and a good Cabernet....I will definitely try to stay again in la Casona in the future...by the way each room is different ....I recommend it when you want to take your wife for an anniversary, or a special occasion. Excellent choice!
