Beautiful and relaxing place!

The environment, staff, and hotel was an amazing experience and it is very close to the center of the town and main attractions (20 min). Definitely a place to come and relax and have an amazing time.

Excellent hotel The facilities are great and the service is fantastic. We loved our cabin and the staff were very helpful. If you have a massage ask for Lulu, she is excellent. We travelled with my 2 you g children. The only I would say is the pool isn’t heated so it can be a bit cold and the playground is a little old. We will visit again soon!

I think this property has a lot of really good things but something that is really off actually I cannot believe this is happening when you go to archery, the drainage of the hotel it is open so you are inhaling and you are so close so vomit, I just cannot believe this is happening in this property something must be done

El hotel y su ubicación son increíbles. Perfecto para ir a descansar, aunque tiene muchas actividades (hay que pedirlas al momento de llegar). Lo único que se quedó corto fue la comida, muchas veces llegó fría o sin gran sabor.

El hermoso hotel estaba escondido en el bosque a 25 minutos del centro. Era muy tranquilo, la comida era excelente, todo el personal era muy amable y atento. Los actividades eran muy divertidos. También hay 2 ubicaciones en el centro de llaman Cinco y Casa. Los dos tienen restaurantes y Cinco tiene una terraza para ver el atardecer. Disfruté mi tiempo al Hotel Rodavento y definidamente lo regresaré!

This was such a fantastic stay, I didn't want to leave. The hotel is in itself beautiful, a few miles away from the center of Valle de Bravo, set in its own forest and surrounding a small lake. The dining hall is the center of it all, and the food is truly fantastic, even though there is a limited menu. We were there for 2 days and got some much needed sleep in the wonderful cabins; it's completely quiet outside and the beds are really comfortable. The spa is the most serene experience I've had: the treatments are done in private cabins that are perched along a babbling brook, with classical piano playing along to the sound of the water. There is also a relaxing area with 3 different temperate pools, a sauna, and the most beautiful steam room I've ever had the pleasure of being in. One thing of note: there are no TVs in the rooms, so if you're a junkie like us, bring your laptop. Wifi is pretty decent for streaming shows. So happy we stayed here, worth every penny and we will definitely be back.

This hotel is amazing! I loved the location and all the nature surrounding us. They have so many activities and spa treatments so you’ll always have something to do. Later at night you can request a bonfire by the “lake” or have it set up in your room. The only things I would improve are: the device from the waiters was really slow and actually really bad. We had to ask for things 5 times before someone finally did something. Also, the food is really good but if you stay for more than 2 days, I would like a different menu or more options.

One of the best places to stay with kids! Outstanding location, great staff, and activities for all ages... what else could you ask for? My only complaint is that, after four days, the reduced menu tends to be, well,boring.

El servicio en general no es tan bueno como lo esperado. El servicio a cuartos es malo y es una lástima porque el desayuno en las terrazas hubiera sido una super experiencia si fuera mejor. El spa estaba en remodelación y tampoco fue lo esperado.

No activities at hotel for adults and no laison with lake activities;3-12 year olds would love it this place. We thought we were coming to a place that was beautiful and active. We found beauty but were disappointed there were no activities and no one had any recommendations for us with outfitters. Beautiful lake and hiking trails but other than going to the dock and have 15 people want to take you out, no laison with an outfitter and the hotel. Very disappointed and surprised breakfast was not included with the room- you had no other options. The setting was most calming and the facility and individual units were lovely with great attention to detail. In the main area, the only place to go other than your room or the spa if it was raining, had not library, no books and not cards ("the children mess up the cards")- really? too bad for the adults! Eating and drinking and sitting in the pool were the adult activities. though beautiful and we enjoyed it, we were disappointed because we had planned to be more active. The children at the place had an amazing time- again, though, you had to pay for every water toy on the tiny lake.

Hotel called the room 10 times to make sure we were doing good. I disconnected the phone. The place is awesome during the afternoon and evening and a little noisy with the motorbikes during the morning.

We really enjoyed this hotel, this is the second time we have stayed there. The major disappointment we had is the service. During both stays it was difficult to enjoy a meal with the whole family or with friends because they would bring the wrong order or forget to bring something. Meanwhile some people were ready to go to the next thing and half of the food had not arrived. I would still recommend the hotel especially to families with children . The Kids club was great.

if you're looking for a kid-friendly hotel, quick get-away from city life of metro area of mexico city, rodavento boutique hotel in valle de bravo is a really good choice. rodavento is clean, safe, friendly, great location (just a five minute car ride from the town square); best of all, it offers a kid's club (MXP $500 per child). kids, ages five to 12, take advantage in activities such as, zip-lining, rock climbing, archery, canoeing, paddle-boarding, and swimming. Kid's are fed snacks and lunch. adults can enjoy six to eight hours of freedom! the only downside of the hotel was its restaurant service; it was extremely slow...so, bring your patience when ordering your meal.

Hotel is quite nice although a bit expensive I would say. Very nice place for doing outdoor sports. We reserved and paid in advance with Expedia and at checkout the hotel had added the cost of the room to the hotel bill and was quite insistent about it not being paid until we produced the receipt of Expedia.

This was my first time to Valle de Bravo and the purpose for the trip was for my partner and I to have a weekend get-a-way. Once arriving to Rodavento Boutique Hotel I realized that everyone's definition of "boutique" is different. I think of boutique as slightly smaller in scale with an individual, modern flare. Rodavento has these elements but the property is quite large. You basically arrive to an upscale outdoor retreat. The rooms are individual bungalows with lofts (perfect for families!). For us, this was a welcomed surprise. Each are designed and decorated with a lot of thought to detail. I'm not sure if its "green" design but it's definitely designed to compliment nature. One negative for me was the bed. It's very hard. They also have balconies that overlook a gorgeous vista of trees and nature. The lodge/restaurant/bar is modern in design and the food at the restaurant is absolutely superb! The lodge also offers areas to relax and/or play while overlooking the pool and private lake. Majestic really. The spa is also very nice. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay, relax and escape the madness of city life. One thing I must mention is the hike back to your room from the lodge can be a killer. It is quite a few steps up hill to get back to your bungalow. I would not recommend if you have problems walking or getting up stairs. This is a perfect weekend retreat for the modern outdoor couple or family!
