Im glad we gave this hotel another try. Pur last visit several years ago was a nightmare. Thys time was exactly the opposite. The new management fixed everything that was wrong. Room was amazing and very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff particularly Alisha was amazing. Our stay was perfect and we will be back.

Hotel staff was very welcoming and pleasant, willing to help and answer questions. The suites were large, Full kitchen clean and very comfortable, as was the bed. Very quiet. Scrambled eggs were made fresh when ordered for breafast. Enjoyable stay. I recommend it to anyone staying in the Orillia area. Very close to downtown the marina, and less than 20 minutes to Casino Rama.

The room was spacious with good amenities. However, the bathroom lighting was poor and the toilet seat is loose and nearly falling off. The bed pillows were the worst we have encountered in our hotel travels and we never received our 7:45 wake-up call. Therefore, by the time we got to breakfast there was no hot food left. We were not the only people short-changed at breakfast.

Stone Gate Inn brands itself as a “luxury hotel”, yet there are two very obvious missing features:
1. The exterior of the hotel property is in immediate need of cleanup and care. The landscaping has been totally neglected and the lack of attention to care and cleanliness presents a poor first impression upon arrival at the hotel.
2. The female front desk receptionist is in serious need of better personal grooming. Body odour is overpowering and impossible to ignore as it permeates not only the lobby area, but the elevator and any guest room she visits. So unfortunate!

This is our second stay and both times have been fantastic. Front desk is wonderful they consistently are vested in ensuring our satisfaction and go above and beyond.

While our stay did not start on the right foot with some issues, the Manager went way above and beyond and made our stay very pleasant and we can’t thank the Manager enough!

Room was nice, spacious and clean. Had a kitchenette with sink fridge and microwave which would be handy for longer stays. The room didn’t have an alarm clock and the wifi connectivity was iffy along with cell service. Must have been in a dead zone. Other than than place was great value for the price.

Enjoyed a quiet night away for the Momma! Staff was super friendly and helpful with my requests. I do wish they had a hot tub as indicated on Hotels.com but otherwise a lovely stay.

Breakfast was basic. Coffee was good but furniture (blue chairs) needed a shampoo and were very uncomfortable.

We stay here every year for my birthday and our anniversary weekend. They always allow us the space to bring our boat and even let us charge the battery in our boat. The staff are super friendly, its in a good location, and rooms are always clean. Our room did have some stains on the walls this time though. The included breakfast isnt anything to write home about so we usually go elsewhere for that.
