Great hotel in a very convenient location for my stay.

The pool is perfect for young families as it does not get very deep. The sauna and hot tub are a great bonus. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our stay so we cannot speak to the food but thankfully there are plenty of dining options within walking distance and a very short drive.

The property looks good for being an older building. The door to our room was sticking but other than that it was ok. The staff was very friendly. The two girls at the restaurant / bar were awesome

Everything was great. Key card readers are finicky for the room, outside doors and pool. Other than than no issues.

Stayed for a family event in Orillia. We found the hotel to be comfortable and glean. It’s conveniently located close to amenities such as restaurants with easy access to downtown Orillia

A nice, basic hotel, with dog-friendly rooms and a pool. Great service when we asked for a room change. Nice, shallow indoor pool. Charged our electric car. Couldn't ask for more at that price point! Would book again!

Room was very comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient. Could not hear the neighbours or people in the hall. A couple of convenient doors to access area where the room was located. It was great that I didn't have to walk through the entire building to get to my room. I was able to park close to the room. The swipe keys didn't work very well though. It took several swipes to open the doors.

Staff was super kind and helpful. We had requested a rollaway bed and the person who checked us in, saw the request and wanted us to let him know if we didn't have it. We did. Through no fault of the hotel, there was a power outage from roughly 6:15 pm to 12:04 am. No backup generator. I felt for the staff, it had to be stressful for them too. The door stop in our room was broken and literally just sitting on the floor when we came in. It just rolled from it's spot because it wasn't anchoredn to the floor at all. My husband also used the exit door on the second floor near the elevator and when he pressed the bar to open the door, a piece of the bar just fell off. The pool is large but only 1.2m deep at its deepest, so the water landed at our hips at most. Our kids really loved it, but a little less satisfying for the adults. Pool was in some disrepair as well. Shedding paint floating in the water and rust spots in places. I also picked out a total of four dead bugs while there. That's the reality of having a door leading outside though. Finally the tub didn't drain very fast, so when we showered we had probably 2 inches of water hanging out in the tub. I was concerned that it wouldn't drain, but I could hear it after the shower, it was just really slow. Overall, it was decent. A place to sleep. But we chose this hotel over another, despite that it was slightly more expensive. I'm not sure it was worth the higher price.

The hotel is unfortunately dated, and needs an upgrade (painting over aluminum doors is not an upgrade) The grounds are nice. The only issue I have is the restaurant situation - overpriced, and it is not open on Sunday or Monday for lunch, dinner, or drinks. As a Best Westerrn "Plus" I would think that a breafast is included, even if the restaurant is a separate entity the owner should comp the breakfast buffet, as it really isn't something to write home about.

Very nice hotel , rooms spacious, clean , lovely court yard in back with gazebo, picnic table ! Would definitely stay here again
