Lovely staff excellent room very clean

The room was not hoovered. I found a hair grip in the floor when I first went into the room and on closer inspection the carpets had not been hoovered. Or at least hoovered adequately. Also the late night music was directly under my room.

Good to have some time away as a couple

Didn't like the lack of a door on the shower. Water tended to get all over the bathroom floor.

The hotel was newly refurbished and very clean. It's one of those setups where a sliding door doubles as a door for the bathroom and the wardrobe. The service at the bar in the evening and also for breakfast the next morning was very slow.

Nice location in the Giffnock area. Plain and simple property, good service. Minimal amenities. We were in a suite, which was larger and more nicely furnished than standard rooms. But the place was threadbare. Mattress needs replacing. No telephone. No clock. No refrigerator. 1 of 2 windows not working properly. No AC, though not often needed in Glasgow. Free breakfast. Nice bar downstairs.

My family and my wife and I stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding, I was given the Giffnock suite which I was told is there best room, my 4 sons and partners had also booked rooms My room was fabulous clean spacious with a luxury feel about it, but my sons rooms were very dated and tired The staff are really friendly and helpful

Great service and breakfast, hotel is nice just in need of a little tlc. Few little things, especially bathroom just a little tired. Everything is clean and bed is comfortable.

Of the available hotels in Giffnock, this was the cheapest so our expectation wasn't high. We were pleasantly surprised! The rooms are a little dated and in need of a refresh and VERY hot, but were well maintained with excellent room amenities. The public areas (bar & restaurant) were nice and cosy and the staff were very pleasant. Would likely stay again if in the same area.

Once you get round the fact that the building is ugly, looks like a 1970s office block David Brent style, then inside it is more a premier inn with a very large bar that also attracts locals, does food, has sport on TV. For me that is good enough.Rooms Premier Inn style but a bit worn around the edges and dated but functional. Plenty of parking. Decent breakfast. Free Wifi. It is not luxury but it is far better than bargain basement and I have always found the staff helpful.Main reason for review is that I have stayed her on business (if holiday with family I would be looking for other types of hotels with different facilities) a few times and feel it deserves more than the average rating that it currently has.

As I only used the hotel as a one night stop and ate outside the Hotel, I put up with the dated décor, but the breakfast experience was altogether the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel - No hot food except for some meager potions of cooked items, that HAD BEEN THERE FOR AT LEAST 2 HOUS. I WAS TOLD THAT SOME NEW COOKED FOOD WAS ON ITS WAY AND WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 5 MINS FOR A FRIED EGG! BUT AFTER 30 MINS AND STILL NO HOPE OF THIS ARRIVING, I ASKED FOR A REFUND AT THE RECEPTION.

This hotel was better than we expected for the price. It was quiet and comfortable, easy to find and with plenty of parking space. It is train ride away from Glasgow Centre so not so good for activities in the City itself, but if youre using a car youre well away from the traffic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly go there again.

Nice staff, bed comfortable, appreciated kettle and coffee and the room was warm... The bathroom is badly needing to be updated. Because the lavatory seat had been renewed the cover was pushed on to your back when you used it.
