Mother and adult daughter stayed here for 10 days. Staff were amazing and helpful. Enjoyed the pool, good sized rooms, furnishings were a bit dated.

The hotel was located very centrally...could walk to grocery, atm restaurants and spa. Staff was amazing and rooms were comfortably with good WiFi....definitely recommend!

The hotel is not flash (exterior) as the photographs (be warned) but if you're looking for spacious and comfy rooms this is your best bet for prize and location. Ideal for families I reakon or group travellers.

The hotel was very noisy from the loud motorbikes from the street, even in the upper floors. 15 min walk to the beach.

Surrounding sidewalking is not suitable for kids but with car or scooter you can easly go to popular places . Friendly stuff and helpfull shuttle service .

Staff where amazing the entire time during the trip however the room (404) has several small maintenance issue that need attention however nothing that will effect your stay greatly. Staff suprised us with a birthday cake on my birthday :)

Great hotel, apartment was clean and comfortable, staff excellant and helpful, breakfast was excellant and very filling, about 20 min to walk to anywhere central so if you want to be close to beach not the place to stay but great if you want to experience holiday away from tourists

The 3 bedroom apartment was a good size for my family of 5. We had a few problems over our stay and the staff fixed them very quickly. Breakfast was fabulous which was included in the very cheap price. The pool area was beautiful and hardly anyone was ever in it. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast wasn't a buffet as advertised, but we did get one meal from their breakfast menu as well as a bread/pastry basket, fruit, coffee and juice!
My only negative feedback was the advertosement for the free shuttle; there always seemed to be a new excuse as to why there was no shuttle running. I had to be quite persistent to finally get a free shuttle into Kuta (must find own way back).
This aside, the hotel is wonderful and you will feel safe and comfortably accommodated at Sara!

Outsourced laundry service has individual pricing, not charged by kilo. Wet hand-washed smalls had brown stains from laundry rack, which needs painting. No a/c in Dining Rm for b/fst, so ate and ran.....

We loved the space available to us as a family. 3 bedrooms and a generous living area was fantastic. The staff were very feiendly and they had good cafe coffee. We only ate breakfast but it was well presented and delicious. Free afternoon snacks and coffe were great (mixture of local and euro snacks). The pool area was clean and tranquil. We enjoyed having breakfast then jumping in for a dip. Our room faced a main road so noise was a problem early in morn and late at night but we got used to it. While we were a way out of main action (about a 20 minute walk past interesting stores) it was no problem getting around as taxis aplenty. Overal we really enjoyed our stay and were a little sad to leave.

Stayed in penthouse suite, on arrival water all over floor, main bathroom had strong smell of mould. We stayed 6 nites never saw pool clean, they did fogging for mozzies, which were a lot of. Very busy street with workers travelling to work. Taxi needed or 30 minutes walk to beach

Circle K across the road if you can't be bothered walking the extra 100m. About a 7-10 minute leisurely walk from the restaurant and shopping areas and a further 5mins or so to the beach and more restaurants. Staff were very helpful. Kids enjoyed the pool for a cool down. There were mosquitoes in that area that requires your use of insect repellant. The hotel needed to get a pest control man in to fumigate the hotel whilst we were there. Breakfast was good. Toast, jams, fruit and your choice of a full American breakfast, eggs (cooked to your preference), Indonesian (Nasi goreng and mie goreng). Overall a very pleasant stay nd recommended for families.

It was quiet due not many rooms so there was no issue in getting seats at the pool or during breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic with friendly service.

We had two families staying here, one family of 5 in the penthouse and one family of 3 on the next level down. The rooms were both very nice, very clean with great decor. The view, the busy main road and the location however were not the best. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We had a small baby with us who they all adored and would take turns holding which was great as it meant we could eat our breakfast. A high chair would have been good but we got by thanks to the staff. Breakfast was the same everyday with about 5 meals to choose from. I think we were all a bit over the menu by the end of our stay. Some fruit would have nice I think.

The hotel is reasonabbly good and quiet except for intermittent sounds of motorcycle ( as I am staying in the room facing the street ).
The hotel reception staff could not adequately provide good information on Bali's places of interest for someone who is new to Bali like me. However, they provided brochures that are informative that assisted me in getting around and explore the streets of Kuta.
The breakfast is OK but they should look into provide lunch or dinner on order basis since they do not have an outlet / restaurant.
Generally I have a pleasant stay in Sara Residence. Terima kasih.

Its a small hotel, about 14 rooms, 11- 2Bed room suites and 3 - 3 Bed Room suites. We were put up in a 2 bed room suite which was quite comfortable, except the Air conditioning in the 2nd room was a bit less. We complained about the same. The engineer could not resolve the problem instantly and hence the Manager offered to shift us to another Room, which we declined. The Breakfast is the same for all days. We stayed for 7 nights and so it got a bit boring. Wish they could have more choice for vegetarians. The location is quite good, in a quiet area and not too far from Seminyak or legian shopping areas. The Staff were quite helpful and got us a taxi when it was raining. They have a small pool and it is better if you opt for the rooms on the ground floor for better access to the pool. All in all a pleasant experience. They do not have a spa, but can organise a masseur on request. there is also a convenience store nearby which helps.

This hotel is very good value. Location may not be the best but taxi there is very cheap. It only costs 5000 rupiah to get to Kuta square. Staff are very very helpful. Their English may not be the best but they will try their hardest to accommodate your need. It really depends on what you want. I think it suits people with budget or people who have been to Bali before, as they will then have a bit of idea about Bali.
If your room is on the first floor, the key card is not working. We liked our room on the first floor. When we came back, we just let them know.

Accommodation was basic but pleasing to he eye, the bed was very comfortable and the room tidy and clean. The room was serviced daily.
Downsides, the pool was not ready for use while we was there, the inclusive breakfast was all basic and small egg dishes, we had the be escorted to our room every time we needed to go to it due a failure in the key carding program they use and we was advise this will be like this for at least the next month. Unable to reset the safe passcode in our room either.

Yes it was a hotel however there was also a cosmetic surgery clinic on the 2nd floor which should've been advertised and wasn't... at least I got in a quick consultation :)
The staff were friendly and eager to serve however there was a language barrier which wasn't helpful when trying to explain and understand each other. In the evening there was only ever 1 staff member that could understand basic English so it was a matter of trying to locate her.
My husband, 2 young children (12 ,6) and myself stayed 7 nights in a 2 bdrm suite with a limited kitchen as there was no stove. The breakfast (inclusive) was also limited with eggs (cooked anyway except poached) cooked with toast and a slither of cucumber and tomatoe. After a week of this, you could say we were over the breakfast.
There was a security guard (Chris) 24/7 who was helpful in opening the door and calling for a taxi. Overall the stay was pleasant however I wouldn't recommend it as a long-term stay for children as there is only a pool to occupy them and after a few days of swimming easily becomes boring. The majority of people we met who were also staying at Sara Residence were business people and either from the Middle East, Indian or Asia.
