From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Jo and Andy our the most wonderful hosts. Our six nights away was perfect. From Andy’s hosting skills to Jo’s most amazing cooked breakfasts with specials and take away pastries to keep us going through the day, who could ask for more. Their extensive knowledge of the island gave us plenty to think of doing each day of our visit and we were sad to leave. With all of the things the island has to offer for a holiday, the main reason for us looking to go back is to be able to stay here again. 10 stars if I could give them. Thank you Jo and Andy.

Fantastic week, we have been to Shanklin many times but have never enjoyed it as much as our stay in the Shoreside Inn, the rooms were big an spacious with great sea views. Fantastic breakfast every morning. Andy and Jo the owners could not do enough for all the guests staying with them. We will defiantly return.

We loved our 5-night stay at this great guest house. Jo and Andy are brilliant hosts, nothing is too much trouble fof them, and the breakfasts are amazing! We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit the Isle of Wight. Highly recommended!

You won't find better hosts anywhere. They went way beyond good service to make our stay comfortable. Charming, large rooms and you can fall asleep to the surf every night. Very clean, great food. Highly recommend Shoreside if you're traveling to the Isle of Wight.

Andrew and Jo are the perfect hosts. They were very welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable, very clean, and modern. Breakfast is very good, with warm pastries to take away with us. The location on the sea front is perfect. Definitely a place we would visit again.

Great weekend spent in the IOW The accomodation was superb, warm welcoming arrival greeted by Andy to show us to our room. The room was clean, cosy and fully equipped, fresh towels and toiletries, a little fridge with water and milk and variety of tea and coffee (topped up each day) Breakfast was amazing cooked by jo, nothing was too much trouble at all. Jo and Andy are a lovely couple and cant wait to go back!

This is a marvellous B&B. As well as the obvious advantages - location on seafront, free parking, quiet (adults only) the rooms are modern, fresh and well-appointed, we had a fantastic bathroom too. Breakfasts are made to order, good choices, beautifully cooked and presented and every day we were offered a freshly-baked pastry to take away for later. However, the big selling point for this place has to be the fantastic welcome by the owners- friendly and helpful but not intrusive, nothing too much trouble and very knowledgeable about all the places of interest on the island. Service over and above all expectations and a genuine interest in delivering the best holiday experience for their guests. Wish all B&Bs could be this good, it helped to make a brilliant holiday. Go there if you get chance!!

Just had a short stay 2 days at the shoreside inn.Andy and jo where fantastic hosts ,room lovely and clean ,looking straight out to sea , great location.Breakfast was excellent.all round perfect break,will definitely return.

Excellent greeting from Andy and Jo, Helped with bags and very informative about area at check in. Extremely warm friendly welcome by Andy at breakfast every morning, and nothing was an issue. Jo’s Breakfasts was without fault and to top it off we were given fresh pastries to take away on our walks. All in all a fantastic stay and can’t wait to go back

Andy and Jo were the most friendly and helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely; pristine, spacious and comfortable, with it's own mini fridge, ironing board and iron.The breakfasts were second to none and beautifully presented. I would have no problem recommending The Shoreside Inn to anyone.

5star! Where to start? This hotel is quiet possible the best on the island. Arrival. You drive into a private car park at the rear of the hotel.As soon as we arrived we were meet by Andy and Jo, the owners. Andy booked us in explained the layout of the local area, during this time jo had taken are luggage to are room. Once we checked in Andy took us to are room explained how everything worked. The room. The room had king-size bed, a fridge which was refilled every morning with a bottle of milk and bottles of water, has a large range of tea,coffee refilled every day. There is also a TV with freesat two comfortable chairs to sit and look at the sea view should you wish to start or end your day with a fantastic view. The shower is big enough to fit two people you have a choice of a sunflower head or detachable. They also clean and make your room up daily. Breakfast. At breakfast you are greeted by andy with fresh juice or hot drink or both. The variety of breakfast is second to none, you have a range from fruit to a full English breakfast and everything in-between. Once you finish breakfast jo will make you some fresh pastries to take away for your day out. Check out This conists of key drop off. This is by far the best place we have stayed at. We were greeted immediately in the car park by the owners who were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout. The Covid safety planning was thorough and manageable. The accommodation is clean, tasteful, with light and airy rooms. The breakfast room is well planned, clean and inviting with little walled of areas giving some privacy. The breakfast was tasty and well presented with nothing too much trouble and couldn't be faulted in any way. This couple have thought if everything and we would stay there again anytime. First class service all round.

Enjoyed walks as recommended by Andy through Shanklin Chine and along coast to Sandown. Shame we didn,t have longer. Would love to go back. Would highly recommend staying here !!
