The cleaning before we arrived was not good at all.

The house was perfect! There were three families with us (6 adults and 8 kids) and we fit perfectly in this home. Each bedroom downstairs had a king bed and it’s own bathroom. The bunk room was the kids favorite hangout and had plenty of room to accommodate everyone! The owner was so easy to work with and we are already planning our trip next year to stay in this home!

Great Location! Easy to and from the beach. Overall, the house had a great number of beds and bedrooms for the group of us. Enjoyed our stay. Had a lot of trouble with the WIFI making it difficult for working from the house. Other than that it was a great trip!

Property was changing owners, repairs needed, ants, ants, ants, food left in fridge/pantry, living area/kitchen on top level isn’t ideal, will not stay here again. However, the owner (at that time), easy to talk with.

Wonderful property in Pointe West! Well stocked and very clean house, just about everything you might need while on vacation. We were a large group - 5 adults, 4 teens, 4 little kids and a baby! The bunk bed room had plenty of beds for all the teens/kids and there was a portable crib for the baby, plus three additional rooms for the adults (two couples and a grandma)! Each room had a full bath as well, so we were all able to have our own space. Sonas sound system within the house was really cool (except when the baby somehow turned on Sweet Home Alabama on two different mornings at around 7am..lol). Plenty of pool floats and beach toys for the kids, and beach chairs. We couldn’t find a beach umbrella which would have been useful with the baby on the beach. The Beach Club was great, good food and an awesome pool. Beaches weren’t crowded at all. The homeowner was super nice and responsive to all questions. We had a TV remote incident (baby threw it in the dishwasher and nobody noticed until after the cycle completed… so we had a melted remote). Owner was very nice when we informed him of what happened, so the remote could be replaced before the next renter arrived. I don’t know when or if we will ever return to Galveston, but if we do I would certainly rent this beautiful home again!

We really appreciated this owner’s attention to communicate with us on things that we needed to know last minute! The house was perfect for all our family needed, and gave us a great family reunion retreat! Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful home, with tons of amenities! The owner has been a wonderful contact, personally visited this home the day before we arrived and stocked it wonderfully. State of the art Sonos sound system throughout and outside of the home was fantastic; large tvs in living and master bedroom; smaller but great tvs in the bunk room and other king room; no tv currently in queen bedroom. King beds are gigantic (2 double beds together). Owners are leaving spices in cabinets, all cleaning supplies, etc for the future guests to enjoy. In the kitchen, every knife, cutting board, pot and pan that you need to cook is provided! Gorgeous views of the Gulf from the wraparound porch - so lovely for morning coffee and sunset relaxing. Pointe West is an incredible development - daunting to drive 25 mins out of Galveston proper but bring groceries. Small grocery store and liquor store are closer, but still a 10+ min drive. There are currently few restaurants in the area, but try some if you want to get out. The Pointe restaurant has surprisingly fantastic food (their chef makes chargrilled burgers and steaks that rival many we've had - ever; best french fries on vacation). The Beach Club and Pointe wait staff are overworked (they are sweet and wonderful, but several work 12 hour days regularly). You will LOVE this house!

This property was perfect for my family and two other couples with their children. Six adults and 7 kids total. Each couple had their own bedroom and bath, and there's a bunk room that held all the kids. Plenty of space for our crowd, plus a little privacy. Quite close to the beach. Has a well-equipped kitchen and several outdoor grills. Lots of stairs, as one would expect in a beach house.

Beautiful home! Pictures do not do it justice! Had everything you could want in a beach home. My family and I loved it… location, amenities, beach. Best owners too, very helpful!

House was perfect for our family of adult children. House would also work for younger children. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking our meals. Great proximity to beach. Host was very nice and answered our queries promptly. Would definitely return to this property!

The house is right across the dune from the beach and is perfect for a family get away! We enjoyed staying here and will look to it again for our group in the future! Robert was great!

Place is beautifully decorated, clean, beach view, plenty of space. All the necessities to cook, relax, and enjoy. Highly recommend. Photos do not do place justice.

Excellent property that is exactly as billed. It's probably a little overpriced compared to similar properties - which is probably why it was available on short notice - but we had a great stay and the house served us well.

Close to Beach

The layout and room sizes were perfect for our group of 3 couples and 2 small children. It's really nice for everyone to have their own space along with a really nice living area and kitchen. We always bring our own beach chairs, towels, etc., but you really don't need them. There is plenty of everything! Easy walk to the beach with our little guys too!

There was Overflowing trash left in trash bins . There was wet towels left in the washer . Last minute I had to bring a extra tiny dog .He did approve 1 but it was a emergency. He obnoxiously kept emailing about the second tiny dog .He stated no dogs allowed there but there were 2 huge dog beds. Who sleeps in those beds? Place was too expensive for what we all got .

The house was located close to the beach with easy access. We rented a golf cart to go to the pools. The house was well furnished with everything we needed. We had a great time while we were there!

This sweet home is super convenient. All the amenities available to you and it’s just a short walk to the beach. We will for sure be back! We have stayed in a lot of places in Pointe West and this one was by far the best.

Super location with plenty of room for everyone. Spacious kitchen and living areas, in addition to outside patio, were perfect for our group. Hope to stay again in the future.

Had a easy and fun time at the beach. Checkin was easy as all we needed was the door code. The place was as described and pictured. Very roomy and plenty of couches for our 8 person stay. WiFi and tv were great plus the Sonos sound system which allowed us to play music in different rooms and porches was our favorite. While it was across the street from the beach we had a great view and super short walk to the walkway. It felt homey and we had a great time!
