It was a great location. Neighborhood felt safe and easy to get into. It was easy access to great restaurants and farmers market and public transportation. The only down side is my significant other is 6'3" and had to duck in certain areas to enter rooms etc. Otherwise it was great!

We came to Chicago with our 3 young kids for a summer vacation. The accommodations were perfect for what we were looking for, which is a place to sleep and recuperate between excursions around the city. The place was very clean, beds were comfortable, and there were basics such as coffee, shampoo/conditioner, etc available if you didn’t bring your own. Our favorite part was the location. You are in walking distance of dozens and dozens of different restaurants and shops. Every place we ate at was fantastic, and we walked to all of them. The neighborhood felt safe and active; lots of people out and about at all times, even nighttime. If you’re looking for constructive comments I’d say that it isn't set up for cooking as there is limited silver ware, utensils, and counter space for that matter. You can do it, just not set up well for it. For us this wasn’t a problem as eating all the Chicago food staples was part of our plan. Also, bring your own wine glasses if you want to drink wine out of actual wine glasses (I didn’t care but I know some do). Overall, we had a great experience in Chicago and our VRBO was part of that. Would for sure stay here again if we’re coming back to Chicago.

We came to town for a long weekend to celebrate a family wedding and see some sights. Cait was VERY accommodating with our early arrival which was greatly appreciated. The space is the basement to the house pictured. It was bright and clean. Beds were comfortable and the common area was spacious. The 'Welcome' book made it easy to quickly get acquainted with the surrounding area and restaurants. I would give caution if you have tall people in your party. There are areas where the ceilings are low (for air vents). My husband (6'5") and son (6'5.5") literally had to duck in some areas. Also, the shower is tight (think RV or houseboat sized). Someone large would struggle. When you stay here, be sure to wave to the neighbor next door who watches the world go by from his front stoop :-)

Great communication, perfect location, very clean, quiet, great neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay. Only slight downfall is the tiny bathroom but it did not alter our enjoyment at all. Perfect for what we needed.

Caitlin was a wonderful host and the property was well suited for my family’s stay in Chicago. The basement apartment was welcoming and fully equipped with all our needs. The host answered questions promptly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time in the city. We also appreciated the easy street parking and provided daily permits. Thanks!

Very clean and spacious apartment in a great neighborhood with a very responsive helpful host. Great restaurants within walking distance and accessible mass transit. Our host Caitlin was very professional, helpful, responsive and just plain nice.

Very cute 2 bedroom apartment. Had everything we needed. Host was incredibly responsive, fastest ever. Left us drinks in the fridge and even juice boxes for my kids. So accommodating
