I have stayed with the Hotel Indigo franchise for years, from coast to coast, because they tend to have a high level of customer service. Well, not this one. If you're like me, you plan your mornings down to the minute, so imagine my surprise when I went to start my day with a shower only to discover that I had (2) hand towels, period. So I said fine, roll with it. Then I stepped into the shower only to learn they had not filled their dispensers with shampoo. Again, roll with it. At the rate they ask, my stay should have been nothing short of excellent. At check out, I tell the front desk staff of my issues and inform them that their manager is a failure and is failing them. They asked if I would like to speak with the manager, and I replied, "Yes." Out comes the general manager, who gets up in my face, maybe twelve inches from me, to ask what my problem is. I close the gap to six because I refuse to allow him to bully me and explain to him that he is a complete failure at what he does and his staff doesn't deserve such poor management. Can you imagine working for this guy for $10 to $15 an hour? Southern hospitality in Hattiesburg went to die at the Hotel Indigo.

Aggravated that lobby did not offer decaf coffee. Had to go to restaurant and spend $4.40 for cup of decaf. Husband was sleeping in room, did not want to disturb him. I would suggest they offer Kuerig with decaf in lobby.

The staff was both helpful and friendly. This is my go-to place to stay in Hattiesburg.

Nice hotel. Only negative was that the shower body wash dispenser was empty so we used the hair shampoo to bath. Suggestion- clear dispensers would solve this as the ones they now use are black.

Everything was great, parking was a little tight.

I didn’t quite understand why the toilet paper roll was so far away and such a long reach down. There was a construction site but thankfully we were there for a weekend. It was a nice hotel and the staff was very friendly. It almost seemed like the chain didn’t need our business as they did not comp one thing.
