Hotel is nice and clean, located about 15 mins walking to Old Town. The staff wasn't very friendly at check-in and also not very helpful with recommendations (almost dismissive). We got free welcome drinks at the rooftop bar (which isn't much of a rooftop bar - very small). The restaurant downstairs has decent food. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay here again but next time maybe opt for a higher floor.

We arrived at the hotel around 10am after disembarking from a cruise ship and fortunately, we were "roomed" immediately.
The view from the rooftop lounge and pool is spectacular.
We ate at the restaurant off the lobby for two dinners and a breakfast. The food and service were good.

We had specifically booked and paid extra for a "high" floor room. When we checked in we were told that our chosen room was not available, and we were given a twin room instead. When I objected we were eventually given a "high" floor. I fail to see why I should have to fight to get what I paid for.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Old Montréal. Close to Saint Paul Street - the oldest street in Montréal with galleries, restaurants, boutique shopping. Great cafe a block away. The hotel breakfast was wonderful, as was the view of the city from the rooftop pool and bar.

The picture of the hotel seen on the website and on Hotels.com is deceiving.
The enterance to the hotel is like a ramp for the ship.
Looks like they forgot to make any enterance to the hotel and in emergency they made a ramp from the road to go to the hotel.
For a brand like Hyatt, it has the most weird enterance.
The car parking is stupid and also chargeable.
This is not Newyork or Toronto ??
In the parking there is one big poster of the hotel, but the parking is huge, you end up going to other buildings, where hardly any one would help to locate the entrance to the hotel.
The rooms were clean, but I think I wasted my day at the hotel

The location was convient and beautiful, considerate staff, tasty breakfast and great views. Roof top pool and bar/lounge area was also great. We got a free drink ticket at check-in which was a nice perk.

The hotel is very convenient to Old Montreal. I didn't find the staff overly friendly though. There was no luggage stand in the room and WAY TOO LITTLE cabinet or drawer space for storage. There was absolutely no way to fully unpack two peoples' suitcases and not have them out to retrieve clothing when needed. When asked at the front desk about a luggage stand the answer was, "We don't have any." Also another inconvenient thing was there were no towels racks in the water closet nor more than two hooks on the wall. So clean and dirty towels were stored right by the sink. I will say the room was spacious with large windows, and black out curtains.

I will stay here every time I come Montreal. This hotel is walkable to everything you can think of, site seeing, restaurants and cafes for days. Also, it’s dog friendly which is a plus for me.

There was barely any place to put our clothes. Had to leave most in suitcases. A lot of empty floor space could have had extra place for clothing. Shower has no barrier on floor, so floor always gets soaked and have to use towels to dry up. Then walking in it and tracking wet footprints everywhere in room. Door always stuck and had to pull hard to close making a lot of noise.

No privacy in the room, 2 inch gap between the toilet door and the main room which was tiny. The sink is outside of the shower are in the coat and everything else area. We had to ask for them to send someone up to refresh the room after the first night. Electric system wacky and confusing. Worst hotel I have stayed in North America but the staff was nice and friendly.
