El espacio es increíble, unos jardines super bonitos con las instalaciones muy bien cuidadas. La energía del sitio, se nota según pones un pie, pero al conocer a la gente que lo lleva te das cuenta que es un lugar muy especial. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra corta estancia. Me llevo un muy bonito recuerdo del OMA y sin duda me quedaré ahi unos días si vuelvo a Cancun

The family running the place are so welcoming, the food was incredible, and the grounds are gorgeous

There’s no private bathroom in the rooms, which wasn’t a big deal for me but it might be for some people

OMA is a little gem in the jungle! the room are spacious, comfy. And staff is very friendly!

The place is beautiful, nice pool and decoration, have in mind that the place is located apart from the main attractions, so you will need a driver, or schedule it upfront. We are in cancun so expect the price. great staff, the lady and the boy Roy were great, please do not loose them! they makes your stay memorable, they are very gentle, and very pleasant to talk with. they asked me if I did not want to go to the pool at the night, it was really calm the night, I tought the water was cold but not, they were very nice to let me know to go in. I really enjoy the pool at night, (i never had it by night and was great) another feeling! amazing stay. Please be minded if you want to buy your own food, to bring it or arrange with car to go to the places, if I understood well, there is not many walking distance.

I would say mosquitos but I did not get bothered by them.

Outstanding place. Everyone was super nice and I felt very welcome. The room and especially the big shower with garden view was a highlight. Also recommend Yoga and the Shaman Massage. Thanks everyone to make this stay perfect.

Staff. They're very friendly and caring and warm. Like extended family. Add on services like the healing massage and tarot card were exceptional. They have home cooked meals so make sure to take advantage of that!! Very delicious. Towels were the softest ones I've had of all the three hotels I stayed in Mexico!

Bed is not the comfiest but the environment and services make up for it.

Very tranquil, serene place to stay at. The room was exceptional. I highly suggest to do holistic massage with Christina. She is a Mayan healer.

Neat oasis in the middle of nowhere. Oversized neat bathroom. Friendly family staff. I should mention they did offer to negotiate their shuttle price somewhat for the return trip, but since we had different expectations of what is reasonable, I thankfully declined. And they let us use their kitchen (which they never use as they always eat out), so if you come prepared you can still eat. Finally, if you have your own car and money is no objective, this might be a neat place for you.

This is a 1-star place away from civilization for a 4-star price. There is basically no way getting there other than by taxi (supposedly charging up to $70 one way) or their suggested transports at *only* 500 Pesos ($27) each way. So they might as well include the price in their overnight fee. Instead they write about the shuttle they offer but don't include prices until you book. Understandably because that would bring their price above the airport Marriott. The breakfast is self-serve as in you can use their kitchen to prepare food they might have around and clean up afterwards. They don't provide any basic services, and no restaurants or stores close by (ie. add $50 taxi to your lunch bill), but after booking provide you with a list their special services like massage for ~100$. We also had a brief ant infestation in the bathroom (photo from after most had left). Poor value, can't recommend and I won't be back.

Casa OMA is a beautiful tucked away spot. Really clean and the owners very gracious.

Finding it at night was difficult, and there was an animal screeching in the rafters, but Casa OMA is in the jungle so what are you going to do?

casa Oma is an enchanting and serene paradise. There’s a symphony of jungle sounds all day and night-i loved falling asleep to the sound of crickets and waking up to a tropical bird chorus! the space is surrounded by incredible tropical plants and trees which adds to the serenity. there’s beautiful mosaic artwork all over and the most breathtaking temazcal I’ve ever seen. It’s peaceful, inspiring and comforting. my room was comfortable, stylish and very well designed. Adan managed my booking very efficiently and answered any queries almost instantly! he made sure I was well looked after and arranged for a reliable taxi to collect me from the airport which was such a relief to me as a tired, solo traveler! the owners and staff are the warmest, kindest people and they made my stay so memorable. I was only there for 3 days but I left feeling like part of the family and the wonderful community that they have lovingly created there. Beatrix and Eduardo went out of their way to make sure that I was happy, fed, settled and comfortable. their daughter Rene welcomed me into the holistic community and all of the regulars who attend the sessions treated me with such warmth and welcomed me with open arms. If you get the chance to receive a Mayan massage or attend one of the yoga or meditation classes-DO IT! they are some of the best holistic experiences I’ve ever had. I will return to casa Oma every time I fly to cancun, it’s the perfect pit stop if you are doing a lot of travelling. I will remember my stay at casa Oma always. I went to rest my head after a long flight and I came away with a full heart, a relaxed mind and body and a spring in my step ✨

Multinational family-run hideaway in the middle of the last remaining jungle. You will hear the most unique animal sounds ever at night. Make sure to book one of the traditional Maya treatments - you will never come across a more authentic ceremony!

comfortable bed and quiet

the bathroom is outside the room and seems to be shared, it was locked on arrival, and we couldnt use it till the next day... that really changes the hotel experience. also location is not as close to the airport if you were gonna stay here because of proximity ti airport then DONT.

Such a warm welcome and family. We had no intention to visit Cancun but needed a night before taking our flight home. But Renée and Béatriz made us want to stay a bit longer. I rarely had such a warm, familiar welcome to a place. The stories about studying in Paris, and how they got there to have a family hotel centered around well-being and happiness is such a beautiful story. I will definitely stop by again.
