After a second try we ended up with a quiet, comfortable room in the back that was more like a small one bedroom apartment. That one was facing a beautiful garden. However, the first one was facing a busy street and it would have been impossible to get any rest there with the tram tracks under the window. The building was originally built as an apartment building and it was converted into a hotel several years ago. There’s also an additional building in the back facing the garden that is more quiet than the main one.

The breakfast waitress was very unpleasant and made it difficult to have a good start to the day. There wasn’t much variety to the breakfast. The photo above with a great chandelier is very deceptive!

Alles! Personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Accomodatie was super goed en op een mooi centraal gelegen plek. Ontbijt is zeer goed en er is veel keuze. Hotel kamer is ruim en schoon!

Helemaal niks!

Behulpzame en aardige gastvrouw. Een heerlijke kamer met een balkon aan de binnentuin. Een heerlijk ontbijt iedere ochtend met ruime keuze. De aanwezigheid van fietsen maakte het verblijf helemaal geweldig. We hebben 3 heerlijke dagen gehad in Berlijn.

Beautiful old building with a lot of character. Everywhere was very clean and the inner courtyard was so peaceful despite the hotel being on a major road. The location is excellent as it’s a 15 minute walk from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof and well connected with trams and buses too. Also within walking distance of the Reichstag. The breakfast was in a small space but still managed to have a wide variety of items. The breakfast staff very quickly restocked any items that were finished. Lovely calm atmosphere too and quiet at night. We had a coffee machine and kettle in our room which I like. Some rooms don’t have a lift so if that’s an essential I recommend checking first.

I didn’t realise that there wasn’t 24 hour reception as I usually have that added to my filters.

Huge room, comfortable bed!

Very closely located to the main station, friendly staff, elevator, spacious room.

Without ear plugs you cannot sleep at night if you have the cheapest room category because the room is directly to the Main Street. Expect quite some noise at night. When you close the windows it becomes quite hot. So you are lost in an infinite loop of sweating versus cooled air with lots of noise.

The place is fabulous! A true oasis!
