Harbour View is in an excellent position overlooking Brixham Harbour and the parking space reserved by the guest house is very close, down by the harbourside. The guest house has clearly had a major makeover recently and is decorated attractively in a modern style. The staff are very friendly and helpful; and they serve an excellent cooked breakfast. For us, the only downside was that our room was rather too small, particularly as we had two large suitcases. But it was comfortable and the shower was fine.

Hosts were great, as was there service and hospitality. Breakfast was great, the view was great, location great. One niggle, room was quite small and needed a bit of tlc for the price we paid.

Excellent location, parking available on the harbour not next to hotel if you request it. Pet friendly. Rooms were adequate and decor was lovely. Had an issue on arrival with our room but it was resolved quickly for us. All the staff were super friendly and the breakfast was really tasty. Lovely view of the harbour from the front of the B & B

The room we were assigned was in the back with no harbour view at all. The room reeked of mould. We left and found a fabulous location and accommodation elsewhere. We will not return. Too bad because I have stayed there previously and liked the place - but assigning rooms that are mouldy is a poor strategy. If you get put in in room 9or 10 run - far away.

Clean place, traditional b&b, lovely setting. Old school, and friendly staff. Very relaxed. Love the self service check in and being able to check in so early. Good value for money. Lovely views.

Very pleasant stay. Stephen and the crew did us proud. We didn't expect too much with the weather and it didn't disappoint. But we needed to get away and the view from the hotel was wonderful. We, my wife Laurie and I send thanks for looking after us and wouldn't hesitate on stopping at the Harbour View again.

Great staff for breakfast

Beautiful views, great having the reserved parking spot. Lovely clean hotel, great breakfast, yes the stairs were steep, not a problem for us. Good spot to walk around and explore Brixham. Tried some amazing sea food in Rockfish restaurant overlooking the harbour as the boats were coming in.

Excellent property, right on the harbourside (Lots of steps though).. Asked for a room with harbour view and it didnt disappoint. Our picture window looked out right out over the harbour. The window it self completely open right up, with two rise and lower chairs-perfect! Breakfast choices really good. Full English spot on. Service by Tommy lovely, everything you needed. Clean and spacious, and we enjoyed the radio being on. Recommended...

Excellent breakfast, Nicky is an amazing cook and nothing was too much trouble!!! Mia who served the food was extremely pleasant and cheerful. I would highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Hotel was very basic thought I paid a lot of money for what I got and could do with new beds and carpets in the rooms and a little bit of DIY. breakfast is good and the service was good.

Harbour View is a fabulous B&B, conveniently located with parking (for a small fee which was reasonable), great communication from owner and views from rooms where fabulous, overlooking the harbour, would definitely stay again.

Really good placing and is near everything but not all rooms has a view

Our third visit as a couple and we absolutely love it there. Amazing location great service and so helpful and friendly very clean also. Breakfast was lovely poached eggs were the best I’ve ever had. We will back again without a doubt!! Thanks for a lovely trip away

Well done enjoyed our brief stay

We had a very enjoyable few days with good weather. We were very comfortable and the room had a wonderful view over the harbour.

The hotel has a nice character and it's worth paying extra for a harbour view. The stairs are narrow but manageable. The breakfast was nicely cooked . The bed was fantastic and the room was spotless.

Very friendly hole area. Good resterants within close distance. Good cafes, my wife liked the shopping witch made the stay very nice.

Lovely stay at harbour view, the location and views are amazing! The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. Parking was directly by the harbour front, please note if you struggle with steps this will not be the place for you, it did not affect our stay but is worth pointing out as there are no lifts. Our room was nice the view was amazing, the rooms are very small but this did not worry us. I would say that the room could do with some TLC in places I.e some fresh paint in places but all in all we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Location - Top Marks. Breakfast - very nice. However… The bed (Room 1) was lacking much support and as such I had back pain the next day. There were also some maintenance issues in the bathroom, not least of which was the erratic temperature of the water in the shower. From Arctic to Scalding - definitely in need to replacement. Overall, we had a good stay, but this I think was made that by the location and the staff, who were both excellent.

The property was situated on one of the main roads lining Brixham harbour so the views were glorious. There are easy walks for the shops in the town, the harbour side and also the local nature reserve (Berry Head). The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for one night which meant we only experienced one breakfast but on that day it was chaotic. There was only one lady dealing with the customers, the customers orders and cooking the breakfasts so service was a little haphazard. There was also confusion over parking. The property does not have space for parking but there is parking available in a local car park but it is chargeable despite the website stating there was free parking,

Friendly and helpful staff and owners, spotlessly clean and great location

I'm afraid we were very disappointed with our stay. We were in the annex round the back of the main building, with an unlocked gate into a small courtyard, so safety didn't feel great. Our room smelt damp, and the windows were trickling with condensation in the morning. there was a hole in the floor at the bottom of the bed, covered in carpet but not filled so we kept stepping into a significant dip. The bedding smelt terrible too. Breakfast was ok, but a small portion in our view. Parking was handy but a bit of a trek back and forth to collect and return the swipe card. We'd read such positive reviews about this hotel and were really looking forward to our stay in such a good location, sadly our experience was very disappointing.
