This property was amazing! We had 11 overnight guests. Ages ranging from 8-63. We had the best time fishing. The kayaks and paddleboards were a big hit as well. It was a nice relaxing weekend with family. Plenty of space for everyone. The teenagers liked having the bunk room to themselves. The neighbors on both sides were very friendly and offering suggestions for fishing. Close to a convenience store and very close to the beach. This house had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Sarena responded very quickly with any questions we had. Would definitely stay again!

First off this an amazing place. Very clean and well stocked. The owners thought of everything anyone would need during their stay. We will definitely be coming back to this home. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This home exceeded our expectations! First, the home is well kept from inside to outside. It’s as though you are walking into someone’s home, not a rental. The beds were really comfy so we all slept great both nights we were there. I always pack so much, but I really appreciated all of the items provided for guests during stay. We had fun in the canal during the day with the paddle board and enjoyed watching all the fish under the green lights at night. We really appreciate the kindness and communication from the owners! Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing your home with us! You made our daughter’s 25th bday and my Mother’s Day so special!

The canal house was perfect for our family getaway! We enjoyed the kayaks and fishing from the dock. The night fishing with the green lights was so fun! The view from the upper deck was beautiful. A great place to relax. Thanks for sharing your home!

Perfect stay in beautiful home on the canal. This home really has everything you need. The living room furniture was super comfy as was the generous outdoor seating. We spent most of our days just hanging out with parents/grandparents watching tv or enjoying the view and sunshine on the huge deck. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of room for preparing meals. We all agreed the beds are the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on in any rental. Our young adult kids also really enjoyed the paddle boards...so convenient right there on the canal Thank you Austin and Serena for being wonderful hosts. We can't thank you enough for allowing us to use the elevator for my 90 year old parents. Our family vacation would not have been possible otherwise. We also appreciate that we are able to bring our Labrador, and love the fenced yard. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We can't wait until next time!

We loved staying at this bayhouse. We have stayed at countless ones through the years and we all agreed it was the best one yet! First off it’s so comfortable for a family gathering. The bedrooms and bathrooms were so nice and comfortable (sometimes rare in Galveston), the kitchen was nice and large for cooking and so well equipped, and the upstairs and downstairs outdoor space was awesome! Our little guy loved playing with the chalk and we played cornhole on the deck! Also maybe the most crazy couches ever, I literally looked for a tag to buy haha. Don’t pass this house up!!!

Really emjoyed my stay...Very clean....This place is enormous on the inside and out side...Everyone was very comfortable...Really enjoyed the upstairs and downstairs view of the water from the deck...

My husband and our girls (ages 7 and 10) enjoyed our stay. We went to West End Marina to eat, explored the Strand, fished from the back deck, and kayaked the canal. Cannot wait to go back.

Sarena and Austin were great to work with! The house is a fabulous place for families with older children. The bunkhouse is located downstairs and gives the kids a place of their own and the adults a place of their own. It was perfect for our family! We will visit again if the opportunity presents itself.

We had wonderful time! The property is well appointed, in a perfect location and has all of the amenities you need. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking around the canals and to the Marina. We will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend! 🐠🎣🏖️

Nice clean property. Very comfortable with everything you need for a great family vacation. Our teenage grandsons loved the crew suite downstairs. We would rent again!

This house was over the top! My grandchildren and children lioved all the water toys that came with the house. The bunk room was a hit with the teens, they felt special having the room away from grown ups. The home really had everything you needed . The downstairs porch was a breezy place for us old folks to sit and watch the young ins have fun on the water. We will surly return for our next beach stay.

We had 3 generations at the house and there was lots to do. We enjoyed kayaks and paddle boards on the canal, dinner at the restaurant at the marina and plenty of time at the beach. Grilled by the boat slip one night & enjoyed the patio. We rented a golf cart which made getting to and from the beach and the marina easy for the grandparents. Loved that we could bring our dogs. Great communication from owners.

Great property for vacationing with family and friends. The details are beautiful on the house. Great bait well with green lights. Neighbors were fantastic! Did not initially understand that bunk room was not connected to main quarters which is tricky with young ones. Communication was superb!!

Was in town for the week for a dance competition. The house easily fit the 4 adults and 5 children and everyone had their own space. Very clean and instructions to maintain and check out were easy. Will stay here again

Family get together for a week. The house is wonderfully equipped both inside and out. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board , float pad and many other toys that were provided. The house decor is so cute and many extras were provided for us such as coffee. There is a marina very close to the house that had good food and great drinks. Overall we enjoyed every second of our stay and would highly recommend it to others. Oh , also , all beds were COMFY!!!!!

Very impressive home. Wonderful, comfortable, clean, relaxing . . . Wish we could’ve stayed longer! We loved the fishing and crabbing. (And my husband was able to come along, so I gave one of the king sized bedrooms to the 13 and 11 year old girls — should’ve seen their faces light up). A group of 5 of us just spent a week at this property. I would highly recommend based on the overall experience. The pre-arrival communication was perfect and set the stage for a great week. The location combines tremendous outdoor spaces with ample indoor as well. Enjoy the lower level shade and breeze during the heat of the day and head upstairs when the sun sets. The kitchen and grill space allows you to cook for few or many. Bonus on the offset smoker which fired up perfectly for some nice ribs one day! Rooms are clean with incredibly comfortable beds and pillows. Honestly, no complaints and again, great hosts. Hope people enjoy it year round!!!

Stayed for two nights, and house was beautiful with everything we needed. Lots of space inside and outside, with direct access to canal. Rooms very nice and extremely clean!!

3 families stayed here together for our annual friends weekend. All the kids stayed in the bunk room. It was a great space with lots of activities. Short drive to the beach. Kitchen & bathrooms well-stocked. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a big family for mothers day weekend. The place was amazing. Right on the canal with quick access the Marina and bate shop. Mark from Moynahan Builders was the miniatous man on the property and came right over when the elevator stopped working. I hope to be able to come back as soon as possible. We could not have asked for a better experience.
