Very nice simple home. And at a great price! Has everything you need. Would stay there again when I’m visiting family! Warning to anyone who sleeps in the living room with the heater on, the heater makes clicking noises making it hard to sleep. But that’s not anything that can be fixed.

Little details were neglected such is smoke detectors not working, leaky roof, uncomfortable sofa, flat pillows. Nice neighborhood, plenty of light, nice backyard but chair pillows for patio furniture not available. I wish that the listing had warned that no street parking is allowed without a permit. It was nice to have a washer and dryer available. Many restaurants nearby. The TV image had a bluish tint all the time.

This place was really nice. Despite some hiccups the host was really communicative and responsive though they are located in Japan. I would book again in future!

We came into town for a funeral service. It’s always hard finding a place to call home away from home. This location was close to everything and freeway accessible. Thank you for allowing us to stay we will be back

Very quiet neighborhood and nice home, but I wish the room next to the kitchen had a door and window. I woke up every time someone used the kitchen 😅, but other than that, everything perfect 👍

As the kids have gotten older, a house is so much easier than a hotel! We had great communication with David, and having a home base worked out great for us. Comfortable beds and pillows! Always a lucky find!

The house was warm and cozy. The area where the house is is nice and quiet. We would definitely stay in this house again!! Thanks for having us!!!

Pros: Simple access to Manhattan, Hermosa, and Redondo beaches. Had basic cooking items. Coffee maker is a Keurig, with some k-cups provided, but also a fillable cup provided to use your own ground coffee. Quiet neighborhood street. Cons: This is really not a 2 bedroom. The second bedroom is off the kitchen with very little privacy. There is no door to this room and an opening in the wall that looks through to the kitchen sink. This also is right next to a window in the kitchen that is across from a window on the neighbor's house. Do not expect full privacy. There is an awkward step down into this room, with then another step up to where the bed is. This room would not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. There is extensive water damage in this second room as well. The host had let us know there had been a rainstorm leaving some watermarks on the ceiling, but the damage looked to be from an ongoing leak that extended down some of the wall areas. There was a musty smell in the home that appeared to be from this. The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. The bed in the second bedroom was very hard causing one of the guests to sleep on the couch most nights of the stay. Guests purchased pillows as well to sleep better. Ultimately, it was a good stay as we spent most of our time away from the house itself. It is understandable that the hosts do not reside in the area so they are likely unaware of the cons in this list.

Host was very responsive for all questions. Place is clean and well maintained. Only issue is 2nd room did not have any doors. Overall, we were satisfied with out stay.

It was a nice, cozy place location was good The only thing about the place is he left us one roll of paper towels and there was no barbecue grill but besides that had a good time

Good location for where we had plans. We had to hunt for towels and toilet paper (1 towel in bathroom and half roll of tp) Second bedroom is actually a converted room so no door and mildewed, warped ceiling tiles in places. Very kind owner. Good place if you want very bare bones and nothing extra. Safe neighborhood yoo, very quiet.

David was very responsive and answered any questions I had quickly. Getting to the property is very easy from LAX and getting into the actual property couldn’t be simpler as you just receive a code in your email. Would highly recommend this property.

House is cute but felt kind of musty. Be warned the second bedroom does not have a door, so this listing is really more of a 1 bedroom with an extra bed.

Was working while travelling. It was very easy log-in to the internet. The house was very comfortable and the three of us enjoyed staying in this home. Communication with the owner was great , very simple and responsive. Will stay again in the future.

Nothing fancy, but everything one needs in the LA-area. A car is necessary in this area, but access to the major freeways is close and the neighborhood seemed quiet and safe. The owner was friendly and returned my call and helped me to resolve the issue effectively when I had a question. No complaints!

Great location nice and tranquil but close to the city

We had a great stay, the home was very nice inside, relatively clean, and located in a really great family area. I appreciated the clear outlined instructions on how to orient amenities around the house. Despite the major time zone difference David was very responsive and great with checking on us during our stay. The only cons that we noticed was that the place was very dusty, we understood that the place has been unoccupied but it was a bit more problematic at nights for us and a bit of a turn off seeing it on the dishes. I think about more frequent cleanings would be beneficial. And there was only have one tv in the house which can be a bit inconvenient with multiple ppl in the house with different interest, i.e one person may want to watch tv while the other may want to play the game. (Ofc this is a preference thing) Overall, It was a great stay I would definitely come back and recommend to friends. Thank you so much David for opening up your home to us!
