Super comfy bed

Hadn't stayed before - just handed the key. No directions to room which was in another building.

Breakfast was good and the pub was nice

The noise from the motorway and cleaners chatting in the hallway at 08:20 wasn't great. Rooms in desperate need of refurbishment

Not enough milk, coffee etc and not enough at reception either. It wasn’t manned so we couldn’t get any more.

The location, the room, the menu choices. As for the cat artwork- I loved it. Will definitely stay again.

Very clean and comfortable room, staff extremely helpful, plenty of parking, not too noisy, lovely evening meal and a good breakfast. Would recommend.

Great for the price I paid. It was easy to find, the check-in process was easy and the room was spacious.

I was on the ground floor and it was very noisy outside my window with drunk people coming out of the pub to have a smoke. This went on until around 2am and so I was very tired the next day.

The room was lovely very warm the bed was mega comfy

There was a really bad sewage smell in the bathroom like the drains was blocked

The room was comfortable enough. Accommodation close to where we needed to be.

The staff were okay, but on check-in, a little abrupt. At breakfast the next morning, they'd "run out" of gluten free bread, which was disappointing. Obviously, this isn't an issue for a lot of people, but it was for us.

Absolutely beautiful hotel bed was comfy and the restaurant was great too with a lovely breakfast

Several drill holes found in the toilet wall which were a bit unsightly. Tv a bit small other than that fine.

Really nice room. Could do with little work in bathroom. Build up of grime round taps and painting was old again in bathroom. Wasnt overall that relaxing in bathroom. Looking at those bits.

Surface clean but little more than that to recommend it

In desperate need of renovation with very misleading pictures on booking.com Generally dingy and gloomy with holes and paint peeling off the walls. The overhead lights either didn't turn on or flickered continually and the only plug sockets were miles away from the bed or anywhere you might want to sit/work There was no lock on the door and the safety chain was pulling out of the wall. Whilst I appreciate its a cheap hotel it was frankly disappointing in view of the pictures they use to advertise the property.

Reception is at the bar, so it's not the most convenient, however the staff in the pub were superb.

Did not have breakfast because we are over 81 yrs old on Pension Credit but the stay was essential due to my brothers funeral on Tuesday. We come from Warrington but now live in South Wales.

We did not seem to have our rubbish bins emptied on any day so we removed it ourselves.

Clean, easy to find, dog friendly, nice staff

Large comfortable bed. Dog friendly across room and bar complex Food and drink reasonably priced.

Disastourous check in resulting in some rooms having two people checked in and a members of staff trying to enter our room at 11pm as they thought it was unoccupied. There were too many keys for each room. May have been one off but doesnt help your sleep when you have stuff piled against your door to stop people entering. It Led to some interesting conversation over breakfast.

It used to be a premier inn, you can tell straight away. So the best description I can give is it’s an old premier inn .. but you get what you pay for, so is it value for money?? Yes The pub, it’s ok, again nothing flash.. it’s bought in reheated food, which they do to an acceptable standard .. however the food description is poor.. I went for the ‘hanging kebab’ picture attached, is that hanging .. it’s just lay on the plate … I went out the test if the week, plenty of other places near by

Rooms are a decent size. Access to the pub next door is convenient and not noisy

The rooms are far too warm. Even on a rainy day I had the windows open and the small fan on constantly. Having no Ac is a real shame

refurbished well .. price good could have a bigger sheet on king size bed .. otherwise quiet and convenient fir a family visit.
