First of all Alberta was amazing from the moment we booked! Had quite a few questions as it was our first time to Italy. She was always very quick and gracious with her responses. The house was breathtaking. So clean and very comfortable. It was the PERFECT location to everything. Couldn’t have asked or found a better place to stay!!! ❤️🇮🇹

The host was helpful and very responsive.. The location of the property is outstanding with easy access to transportation, restaurants, and shopping. Boat from airport drops you off within easy walking distance to location. Great option for three couples traveling together or family.

Awesome location

This apartment is absolutely perfect - in addition to the furnishings, layout and quiet location off a busy plaza - the proximity to water bus, shopping, great gelato (Gelato Fantasy) and also food stores (we cooked and kitchen was fantastic) could not be beat. Alberta is wonderful as well. I hope to go back we loved it so much.

Great location- literally steps from the lagoon dock, and 7 minute walk to San Marco square. Spacious rooms- we had six but 10 could comfortably stay here. Big master bedroom with soaking tub, other rooms were perfect size for two people. Bathrooms had shower stalls with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water at all hours. Comfortable beds and seating areas. Alberta made check in super easy and gave us a reliable recommendation for a water taxi who was able to drop us about 30 meters from our doorstep. 100% recommend!

This apartment was perfect base to explore Venice. Alberta was lovely and so helpful. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

This was an amazing apartment in a fantastic area right on the Grand Canal!!! Close to everything including the water taxis and gondolas!!

This place was perfect for our family of 6. Location was excellent and it was very spacious. Probably one of the best apartments you can get in Venice. Only minor complaint is the mattresses could be upgraded.

This place was our most favorite place during our visit to Italy. It was in a great location to everything. Alberta had a great list of restaurants and showed us a map for several great spots. She was so easy to communicate with. Her place is very well decorated. It was almost like being at home.

From check-in to departure our stay was perfect. The apartment location is on the corner of a small canal and via Schiavone...the main waterfront walk and right in front of water taxi and ferry stations. Lots of shops outdoor cafes and restaurants, great for people watching, 10 min walk to piazza san Marco and all the wonderful streets to meander along. The apartment itself is in an 800 year old building so full of character...each of the 3 very comfortable bedrooms has plenty of space and own bathroom with shower, primary bedroom is like a palatial with a charming bathroom with huge tub. Everything worked, shutters and windows opened to either the centre courtyard or side canal. This huge apartment is located on the first floor .....18 steps up so not for mobility challenged. I will happily stay again

This is a fabulous property. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. It includes the essential items necessary for a comfortable stay. The location is wonderful. Vey easy walking distance to the Biennale grounds, Piazza San Marco, the Fenice (opera house) and so much more. The apartment fronts on the lagoon (great views) and sits on a small side canal (charming view and sounds). Once inside the property, it is a surprisingly quiet oasis. Great for a group of friends, a few couples or a family with children. I would recommend! The proprietor is lovely and helpful. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Easy access to the vaparetto system and much of what Venice has to offer.

Great experience at this fabulous apartment! Great location in the heart of everything and very spacious and beautiful. We could walk everywhere and with so much going on right around it, I never heard any noises except for the occasional boat in the canal. Alberta was very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Amazing spot!

The very gracious owner/manager met us and gave us 2 sets of keys. Gave us a tour and showed s how everything worked. Apartment is on first floor (no elevator/lift) but doable staircase. Nicely appointed apartment with 3 modern bathrooms and AC throughout. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Everything about this apartment was fantastic for our group: amount of space, great location, cleanliness, amenities and the overall quality. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice on this trip. Communication with the owner was very easy and prompt. Very responsive and cooperative. All appliances work well and the AC works great too, because it was very hot while we were there. It was a stay that we’ll remember fondly for many years. Highly recommend!

Our family of 8 (3 couples and 2 children) stayed in the lovely home! The pictures do not do it justice! It is HUGE! The bedrooms are separated just enough to give everyone space! There are 2 gathering areas. One side of the house, which includes 2 of the bedrooms have a quiet canal view and the master bedroom has a beautiful interior courtyard view. What is was amazing about the location is that the main door is right on the street of the grand canal, but you open it to a beautiful hallway that leads to a courtyard and then through another door that leads you into the building- so the house is right on the grand canal with access to so many things, but set back enough to not hear all the noise! You will not be disappointed in booking this home! Close to St. Marks square and many great restaurants and shops! The BEST gelato was a little shop in the San Zaccaria square run by 2 brothers - it does not show up on google maps- but trust us.. we went back 3 times!!

Very highly recommended. Spacious, well-lit, clean, and accurately represented in the description. I would add: the widows are very good and effectively block the sounds of occasional boats passing on the canal at night. There are three full baths, one of which has a soaking tub and hand-held shower without a standup shower. The kitchen is adequately equipped for an attempt at serious cooking. And Alberta was readily available, helpful, and friendly.

Communication with the property owner was fantastic. She met us in person at check in to show us around the apartment and explain several things, especially the trash service. We arrived by train from Rome and took the public water taxi to the San Marco stop. This was only a few minutes walk on the waterfront to the apartment entrance. This is notable because we were 8 people with 8 suitcases. Later during our explorations we saw many people walking much further pulling suitcases. This airconditioned apartment is clean, comfortable and secure. The beautiful entrance from the street is locked as well as the bottom of the stairs and the apartment door. This property would not work well for anyone with mobility issues. there is a flight of stairs to enter and an additional step into the living area. The master bedroom is spacious and the 3 bathrooms are new and clean. We had 8 people in the apartment and never felt crowded. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast each day and some snacks and drinks. There are grocery stores and bakeries in a few minutes walk. We also used the washing machine as we were several days into a 15 day trip and needed to refresh our laundry. The owner helped arrange our transportation by private water taxi to the Marco Polo airport. This was more expensive than the public ferry but we get sea sick easily and the trip takes 30 minutes by taxi versus over an hour on the public ferry. The taxi picked us up at the apartment door, this was certainly easier than our arrival by public ferry. The apartment location is great. It is very near San Marco. We were able to walk many places and also take the public ferry to Rialto, Murano and Burano. It is easier to walk to the Ft. Nove station to go to Murano and Burano, versus taking the boat around the entire island stopping all along the way. We greatly enjoyed our time in Venice and this apartment was certainly a part of it.

Highly recommend this property, amazing location right on the Grand Canal, only a short walk from St Marks Square, set back in a peaceful courtyard. Property was huge, very clean and facilities were excellent, would not hesitate to stay here again.

Well-maintained and well-equipped apartment in a beautiful palazzo. Stylishly furnished with modern amenities in a traditional palazzo. It felt like a fantastic dream to walk through the palazzo gates. The check-in process was flawless with seamless communication with the owner/staff for all types of queries. The materials available were helpful as was the fast-speed Wi-Fi to allow me to work in between exploring the city.

Alberta was a perfect host, greeting us as we exited our water taxi. The 3 bedroom apartment is quite large with a well-outfitted kitchen, large living/dining room and a sitting room. Highly recommend for its size, location, and value.

This apartment was a magical experience- it added a depth to our Venice visit that would have been lost at a hotel or lesser VRBO. It is centrally located overlooking the canal, with the thrill of boat traffic going by. The AC works very well, the kitchen is well appointed and everything is serene and a beautiful respite from the crowds. The entrance is a long and stunning tiled hallway into a beautiful and fragrant courtyard. Alberta was a warm and wonderful host and I give this VRBO my highest recommendation.

I recommend this apartment and will defiantly stay here again a true city/ canal experience. High ceilings, three bedrooms, two large sitting rooms, and a well organized kitchen with plenty of seating. I find myself missing the mornings with my nephew (seven years old) sitting in the kitchen with the large window open counting and waving at the boats going thru the cannel. You feel like you are right in the water even though you are really one story up (this helps on high water days - no chance of flooding). It is walking distance or water taxi ride away from most everything. You can catch the water taxi right out front (one block over). There are three solid entry doors (multiple keys) to get to the apartment - even though you are right in the thick of things it is quiet and you feel safe. There are great small restaurants right around the corner with a fresh grocery also very close. Alberta is available to help with anything and she made sure we got picked up on time to catch our early flight. There is not one thing I would change - thank yo so much Alberta for a wonderful adventure.

We arrived back today from a fantastic 4 night stay at Ca Navagero 1. The weather was cold but the apartment was beautifully warm and comfortable. Tons of hot water. Traditional palazzo with incredible high ceilings, tastefully modernised and well equipped. Alberta was a brilliant host. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend. Our group was 3 adults and 5 children and we had loads of space.

The apartment was beautiful. It had everything we needed and more. The owner was helpful and arraigned transportation and help with luggage. The location was perfect, it was next to the Hotel Metropole. I can’t say enough nice things about this rental. I would highly recommend staying in this property. I will rent it again if I have the chance. It was wonderful.
