Stayed here with a group of ladies from work just to unwind for a few days. It was perfect. Plenty of space. Very clean and ready for use when we arrived. Couldn’t have asked for more.

We stayed for a long weekend for our daughter’s graduation from Kenyon College and had a great time. So much room for everyone and a pretty, wooded setting for this sweet cabin. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, keurig coffee, and the hot tub! Thank you!

Pluses: The location and property itself were beautiful (we loved the covered outdoor seating area) and hosts were prompt in communication! Minuses: The ceiling in the basement was unfinished and the pipes dripped all over the gaming area. The most frustrating part of our stay, however, was that the hot tub was absolutely FILTHY. I can't imagine how long it had been since it was cleaned because it was overflowing with foam from skin oils, lotions, etc. to the extent that the adults were too disgusted to get in. Adding more chlorine did nothing to fix the problem. Our nieces did get in and there was so much foam that they were using a boogie board to bail it out of the tub.

Me and my siblings rented this cabin to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. It was the perfect spot! We loved the hot tub and the view. So beautiful! We couldn't have asked for a better location.

Quite and peaceful nicely built log cabin.

All ages in our three generation family group had a great time being together. We usually drive to Hicking Hills to have getaway time together but not knowing how traffic would be this year because of the eclipse, we opted to be closer to home with less road time. We didn’t leave the cabin to go anywhere else, as we had our dog with us and I did not want to crate him in order to go exploring in the area. It’s great to find a place where we could take him with us as he is our rescue three-legged dog and very bonded to us and I did not want to stress him out by boarding him. Nice hot to be enjoyed . Really liked having the gas fireplace for ambiance without the woodsmoke. We would definitely consider staying again!

Spent the two days after Christmas here. The cabin had everything we could’ve asked for and more - it was better than the photos. We had the best time. We will definitely be returning!

We decided this year for Christmas to make warm memories with our family. Beautiful home to just relax and make memories. Would recommend this cabin for relaxing and make some lifetime memories.

Perfect for our family Christmas getaway. Plenty of room for our group of 14 (8 adults and 6 kids). Owners are very accommodating and cabin is very well stocked. Secluded and peaceful location. Looking forward to coming back next year!

My only complaints are the leather couches (not comfortable to any of us) and the configuration of the outside amenities….the fire pit area was not accessible (no paths) and it is completely in a different area from the hot tub. In other words, if you have part of your party in the hot tub and part around the fire, they are on opposite sides of the property. Also, please have fooseball balls so my son can play, he was disappointed in not being able to use that item. The communication and personal touches were fantastic. The coffee machine worked very well for our group. I would give the property 4.25 stars out of 5. We had a great time overall.

Lovely place!

This cabin is one of the best cabins we’ve stayed in. We all used to meet in Hocking Hills for a girls getaway and this cabin is much better than any of the ones we’ve stayed at in Hocking. We are a group of 14 women and the size of this cabin is perfect. The area of Butler is a beautiful drive and place to stay. The cabin is well stocked for towels and kitchenware and anything in between. The place is well maintained and very clean. We are already planning our trip to this cabin for next year which will make it our third stay in 3 years. Highly recommend for big groups and the cost is very reasonable.

Our family enjoyed this cabin. It’s very spacious and the owners are very accommodating. They have everything you need plus. Just pack your bags your food and your ready to go and enjoy a relaxing getaway..

An outstanding vacation rental property. Owners/property managers are very organized and provided a well-equipped home. This property is very accurately represented on the website. A complete and informative booklet for renters is made available through the website and at the home. The home was very clean and very comfortable. The home easily accommodated our 8 adults and 4 children aged 5-12, and easily could handle more.

Wonderful place to stay. Would stay there again.

Every year my family (9) get together for a long weekend of enjoying each since we live long distances apart. Our stay here allowed us personal space as well as the ability to all sit together for dinner. No us the hot tub was large enough for 6/7 at a time. I will want to come back.

This is a beautiful cabin in the middle of Butler. Everything was a smooth process and cabin was well stocked for all of our needs. Thank you again for sharing your home with us!

Sime Back road cabine. Not a luxury but Peace and quite. It is probably awesome winter time. We had a little issues with AC and one of the ceiling fans didn'twork, not cold enough for some people in our paryt, but overall decent place. Little on more expensive side for quality of everything. I would probably stay again here in winter, but wouldn't stay there in summer time again.

I turned 50 earlier this year, so I planned a little weekend getaway with friends I've had for over 30 years. We used to camp and canoe every summer in our teens and twenties, but our old bones now prefer comfortable beds, hot showers, air conditioning, and a kitchen to cook something better than hotdogs. This place was PERFECT. We laughed so hard, ate and slept GREAT, and enjoyed a day on the river like old times. The cabin was spotless, had tables inside and out that were large enough for our big group to sit together while eating or playing games. We plan to make it an annual trip. Beautiful home; excellent layout for entertaining and yet everyone had their own space. Communication with the property owner was fantastic!

This property is so well-kept and clean. The beds were all very comfortable and the outside area with the hot tub was perfect. This was our family reunion and it was so so good.

We really enjoyed are stay! Wish it could have been longer but family coming in from Alaska limited our time. If we could have given it 6 stars we would. Found it very well equipped and comfortable. Would appreciate you sending us the white hair dryer we left in the first floor bathroom 😉. Will definitely go back!!

The house overall was very nice! There was plenty of space for 7 adults to get around and 2 little ones to play in the living room or lower level. The owner was quick to respond to the few little things we needed! Hottub and fire pit were enjoyable as well. Overall fun and relaxing stay.

We had a great time with family. Cabin gave us plenty of room for the adults and children. 2nd year in a row staying at the cabin,had a wonderful time.

We are a group of lady friends who like to get together for quilting, cards, hiking, catching up, and just relaxing. They had a notebook with instructions for everything. They were very resposive to any problems we had. The TV easy to use. The hot tub was wonderful with easy instructions. All beds were reported comfotable. The grill and picnic table were so nice to have. The patio large enough to sit out and relax or put a cardtable up to play cards.We liked having two tables to sit at inside. We used the one table for quilting the other for eating both were large enough to accommodate 10-12 people. We hope to stay there next year.

The property was so well maintained. Everything was considered. Very private.
