Julia and Tarkan were FANTASTIC hosts. Julia even agreed to show us around the city and she had wonderful recommendations for us. I would absolutely stay there again and WOW what an amazing view from the terrace! =) All smiles!

A truly magical place to stay. Fantastic location. Close to everything. Beautifully furnished. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Julia and Tarkan are incredibly thoughtful, great communicators and made our experience of Istanbul one to be treasured. Highly recommend and would love to return to stay.

The reviews are true. This place has the best view and balcony to support it. You can wake up to the sun shining off the water and drink wine to the sites of Istanbul at night. We will 100% come back here. It’s in an amazing area with great shops and very convenient walking distances to everything. On top of all that it is safe from street noise and generally quiet. There are 100 stairs to the apartment so take care when planning how you’re going to get to the penthouse, but the view and apartment are so worth it. Hosts are communicative and helpful. Great stay, 10/10

Very nice, comfortable, spacious and elegant flat. But the view beats it all. Also, for the photographers among you, the lighting inside and on the balcony in the early hours is magic. And the interior very photogenic.

The apartment was an absolute dream to be! Very quiet, despite the central location and the view from the balcony was just amazing! The apartment is equipped with everything you would need for everyday life and very comfortable! The fireplace was also a special highlight for us. Also Julieta, our host, was very helpful and resolved issues directly! Absolute recommendation, if you are in Istanbul - the only thing to know is that on the 5th floor it is without an elevator, ie for people; who are not good on foot, unfortunately not ideal.

The property sits in the very center of the city with marvelous sea view! Next to the high street with lots of excellent restaurants. The manager Taskin is really friendly and helpful thanks a lot for his assistance even we arrived very late. Strongly recommended!

A dreamlike accommodation, with wonderful views. The Galata Tower, the Bosphorus with many ships, Topkapı Palace, blue mosque and Hagia Sophia you can see wonderfully from the roof terrace. Rarely had such a beautiful view. We were personally welcomed by Julia and felt right at home. Very central with great options right outside. A supermarket is right outside the front door and everything can be reached quickly on foot or by tram. The apartment has everything you need. Definitely recommended.

It’s a wonderful apartment, the balcony and view are incredible. We stayed with our boys (8 and 10) and they stayed in the room off the kitchen which worked perfectly. 5 storeys with bags is a good work out when you arrive (!) but worth it. We’d definitely stay here again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Julia and Tarkan's penthouse in Istanbul with my mother for a short trip, and I must say that it was an unforgettable experience. The location of the apartment is excellent, as it is situated near the Galata Tower and surrounded by numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops. But what truly sets this penthouse apart is its stunning view of the city and the Bosphorus. It was breathtaking, to say the least. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with attention to detail, and it was immaculately clean. What made our stay even more special was the hospitality shown by Julia and Tarkan. They surprised us with a gorgeous bouquet of white lilies for my mother's birthday, which was a delightful touch. Overall, I would highly recommend Julia and Tarkan as hosts on Airbnb. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable, and their penthouse is simply amazing. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This place was so beautiful and comfortable for our 5 night stay in Istanbul. We will definitely try and stay here when we return. The location is wonderful - close to lovely restaurants and local shops with incredibly beautiful things to buy and enjoy. The apartment was gorgeously decorated and has an incredible view of the water, and both the Asian side and the old city. We LOVED the apartment. The views are EXCEPTIONAL. The atmosphere and view is 100x worth the stairs (which are no joke - but we took them as our own fitness challenge and totally enjoyed it! Plus you only have to carry your stuff up once :) Great layout - clean, comfy and stylish furniture. Totally stocked kitchen. We wished we could have moved in! We were a couple and the apartment was very comfortable. Washing machine a big plus after weeks of travel!

Julia and Tarkan’s place has an incredible view of the city. One of the few instances where the place looks even better in person than in photos. The property manager, Taskin, was kind to welcome us late in the evening. Location is excellent with a short walk to major attractions in Taksim and to tram station for other attractions in the city. We did not mind the 5 floors as we then ordered dessert for all our meals :) We highly recommend this place for your visit to the beautiful city of Istanbul!

We had a wonderful stay in Julia and Tarkan’s flat. It exceeded our expectations and the view really is incredible. The balcony is just a stones throw away from the George’s hotel balcony in Galata but higher up so even better view. The flat itself is very comfortable, good sized bed from which you can see the amazing view, excellent shower. I’d say hotel quality shower. Very elegant design in the flat. Lots and lots of space. And very easy flat to access and great tips on the area

Proactive support, a lot of useful instructions on the subject of arrival, activities and catering, the proposed transfer was really useful. And of course the view is impressive on the Bosphorus - highly recommended!
