Inrichting en het uitzicht

Nice quiet location. About a 10 or 15 minute walk into the area for restaurants etc. Easy parking outside (although it is paid parking between 9am and 6pm). Check in and out was easy. Right across from a supermarket. Apartments are lovely and spacious. It was fine for what we wanted, a base at night time, didn't spend time there during the day. Bed upstairs was extremely comfortable.
The outside of the hotel is very unkept. The viewing point on the 8th floor didn't seem to be open at all only between a few hours on a Sunday. There is also seems to be no aircon in the rooms. There is some sort of a thermostat however we couldn't get temp below 21 degrees however there was a fan in the room upstairs. The mattress in the cot was very hard. I had to take the duvet off the bed downstairs to fold up and put under him. Grand for a toddler but wouldn't be safe to do that with a baby! We were also there 3 nights and there was no cleaning. I also did see some reviews about dirty bed linen and I did see some stains on the bed sheets downstairs. The stairs in the room is also very steep with narrow steps.

Wat een prachtige, smaakvol, ruime en luxe ingerichte appartementen in een evenzo mooi en markant gebouw. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Op loopafstand (ca 1 km) van het centrum.
Het enige wat wij misten is een pakketje om schoon te maken zoals een vastdoekje, afwasborstel en vaatwastablet.

Ich liebe Hotels und übernachte gerne in ihnen, aber dieses Hotel ist ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis!

Wat hebben we genoten! Het appartement was prachtig, heel erg schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren met de taxi zo in de stad. We verbleven hier van zaterdag tot zondag, zondagochtend kon je nog op de bovenste etage koffie, thee etc met een croissant of gebakje eten. We raden deze locatie absoluut aan!

Man ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuß in der Innenstadt (Grote Markt). Der Ausblick vom Turm ist fantastisch. Die Atmosphäre im Appt ist einfach sehr besonders durch die hohen Decken, dennoch war es nicht kalt.

Wat een prachtige locatie en een uitstekend verzorgde suite! Echt heel mooi gedaan en van alle gemakken voorzien. ook heel vriendelijke medewerkers.
Alles was eigenlijk super. Beetje krap in en rondom de lift maar verder top!

Die Wohnung war nett eingerichtet
Im Schlafzimmer oben kein Fenster zu öffnen. Die Handtücher waren im Schrank versteckt. Zu wenig Bilder, wirkt sehr kahl. Nachts hat jemand an der Tür geklingelt ca 0.15 Uhr, war unheimlich .

De ruimte en de bedden lagen lekker.
Lampje van de boiler in badkamer beneden scheen in je ogen bij het slapen. Handdoek eroverheen gedaan.
Dekbed was broeierig. Thermostaat stond hoog, waardoor het erg warm was.

Nice original location as we were staying in an old watertower. The apartment was spacey and decorated in a industrial, modern and cozy style. Two spacious bedrooms with each their own bathroom complemented the vibe.
The distance to the city center takes some walking time which is not ideal when it rains. Also, if you book this hotel for a visit to concert hall the Oosterpoort/SPOT you need to take into account that you need to walk for roughly 30 mins to get there.

The fact that it's a converted water tower speaks for itself - it's really a one-of-a-kind experience. I had the penthouse room and you can see the entire city's skylines from every window. Apparently it's only been opened recently, but either way it looks very new and very well maintained.
Due to how the rooms are shaped there are some disadvantages - the shower is quite large, but the sink area is quite cramped, for example. Takes some getting used to, that's all. It can also get quite windy so probably a good idea to keep the windows closed overnight.
Also, the elevator is probably the slowest moving elevator I've ever seen, and I've seen a few.

Besonderer Ort. Stylish, ruhig, tolle Einrichtung.
Könnte deutlich sauberer sein. Fingerdick Staub auf den Schränken und neben dem Bett. Die Lampen würden ohne Staubschicht auch schöner leuchten. Vier Kaffeekapseln und drei Teebeutel für drei Leute und zwei Übernachtungen sind etwas dürftig. Kosmetikspiegel und Haken für die Handtücher im Bad wären schön.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem alten Wasserturm ... sehr modern und neu renoviert. Traumhaft schön. Der Weg in die Altstadt ist schön und in 15 Minuten zuschaffen.
Vor der Aussentür ist es abends extrem dunkel... da fehlt eine Aussenbeleuchtung.

The interior design was great. Minimalist but very comfortable. It was also very clean. The little booklet about the history of the building was very nice. The room was heating up quickly with floor heating.
I have a few points of improvement, it is not really what I disliked. The kitchen had a stove, oven, dishwasher, kettle, a coffee machine and a french press, so almost complete. A basic toaster would be a nice add. There were no kitchen papers, napkins, and teatowells. The stair railings were on the wider side, our 3 y.o. could pass through. The skylounge opening hours were noted to be on the website, but I could not find them there. I asked at the reception and they told me it was closed. This was a bit dissapointing. Our room was on the third floor, I wish we could see the view from the 8’th floor.

als gezin met oudere kinderen zatten wij in appartement 1 . waar 1 goed 2 persoonsbed was en 1 twijfelaar. deze twijfelaar is echt te klein voor 2 oudere/volwassen kinderen om goed in te kunnen slapen. 4 volwaardige slaapplaatsen was gewenst maar bleek voor 2 personen te klein

Two bathrooms but only one toilet between 4 guests is a shame - please put toilets in the bathrooms!
Even the bedroom and bathroom doors are glass -- a mirror in the living room means you can be seen in the shower.
Container for secure bike storage was appreciated but would be better if a proper bike area.
Flexibility for 2nd bedroom to be 2 twin beds would allow easier hosting of families. (Or have a sofa bed)

Amazing property, we had one of the two-bedroom appartments on the 3rd floor which was very spacious. Nespresso machine with excellent cups from De Koffie Jongens.
We stayed two nights and there wasn’t house keeping after the first one. We would have appreciated a coffee refill. One suggestion for improvement: curtains for the bedrooms inside. Plus, the noise isolation between the different floors & appartments is pretty bad; you can overhear conversations in the adjacent appartment
