We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful and historic neighborhood. The house was perfect for 7 older women who wanted to be in a central location to attractions such as Busch Stadium, the brewery, the Muny, The Hill, and the Missouri Botanical Garden. The house was clean and as advertised. A small cleaning problem was handled. And we highly recommend this gorgeous historic home. A side note: Lots of steps!!

Lafayette Square was absolutely incredible! This will likely be the most beautiful and historic home you could stay at. They had renovated, yet classic rooms. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for the entire group to stay! The decorations are quite interesting to look at, and you have to check out the scrapbook of every owner of the house (dating back to the 1800's)! The place was huge, and had almost any amenity you could need. The entire kitchen was stocked with glassware and plasticware. They had plenty of blankets and linens. While we did not have any babies in our group, they supplied a crib and a high chair! Backyard had plenty of seating and a bonfire pit. Parking is on the street and was mostly empty when we rented. Location was perfect! There is a grocery store nearby and close to Soulard. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know, and I cannot thank the host enough for letting our group celebrate a birthday there!
