Beautiful home, great location, quiet neighborhood and great walking trails. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool. Short drive to Hanalei and eating places. Enjoyed every day of our stay and made wonderful family memories. Lisa, our host, was very helpful and readily available to answer any of our questions and concerns. Mahalo! 🌺

We enjoyed our stay and will return as soon as we can! We would have gladly just moved in! The kitchen was well stocked with everything to cook all the meals for 10 people. The view was incredible and the pool was perfect for the whole group. Thanks!

An amazing week for our family of 5. The pool was great for the kids- the view from the upstairs balcony is as good as the pictures. Spacious rooms and everything you need for cooking/beach going/ relaxing. It was an easy ride to Hanalei each day to the wonderful beach. We had a tough time leaving this paradise and certainly will love to return! I’ve never felt so relaxed!

Our families from the mid-west thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The house was in a great location, sunsets were priceless. The house was very clean and had many things provided such as beach items and kitchen items. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return as well to enjoy Kauai and stay here! The only bummer was the lack of a pool heater we were notified after booking that the pool heater was not longer in service, we were refunded the heater fee.

Really enjoyed our time here. The home has everything you could need. Pool is a great size. Second floor balcony is a great place to hangout. Excellent location. Can walk to Hideaway Beach(highly recommend). Overall fantastic experience. We miss it already. Property management company is very responsive and easy to work with as well.

This house is beautiful and the views are stunning. We’ve been coming to Princeville for many years and this house was definitely one of the best we’ve stayed in. The layout of the house works well for a family with grandparents, kids and grandkids. We loved the upstairs lanai and spent many memorable hours there having meals and enjoying the amazing Bali Hai sunsets. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking gear for our chefs in the family. My only negative comment is that we paid to heat the pool but it never got close to warm. The property manager was wonderful in every way- from pre-arrival to the day we left, including accommodating our late departure flight with a late checkout. The garage was well-stocked for the beach and pool and the 4 bicycles were also a great perk. The golfers in the family enjoyed sitting on the lanai and watching the action on the golf course. Perhaps best of all, we could see whales in the ocean from our lanai and the albatrosses put on a show for us every day.that we watched with great amusement from our wonderful second story lanai. Having our groceries here when we arrived was a great convenience. I highly recommend that you ask the property manager to do your shopping in advance of your arrival. We will definitely rent this house again and I hope it is sooner rather than later.

Spent five days on Kauai with friends and family and this house blew us all away. We got in late at night and when we walked around to the backyard, all the lights were on for our arrival - it was such a nice welcome to the home. We all spent a lot of time on the lanai drinking our coffee, chatting and just hanging out. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped with kitchen gadgets, games and even some bathroom essentials. I would absolutely return and have even passed on the listing information to other friends.

This house was absolutely paradise in Kauai overlooking golf course and view of the ocean. This house has plenty of room for everyone! The house is even nicer then the photos . We loved eating all our meals out on the beautiful lani . This house is located near all the beaches and shopping . We paid $150 for pool gate as we had children and wish that the pool was heated as it was cold and told it would cost $150 a day to heat the pool .No life jackets so we brought our own for the children. They have 3 adult bikes in the garage . We enjoyed our bicycle rides .We had a wonderful vacation oct 7th to 15th Would definitely rent this arb again and hope we can come back to parisdise in princeville !!!

The house is really nice. Great view from upstairs.
Large master suite. Other 2 queen rooms nice. Bunk room we didn’t use, that’s pretty small. It has pretty much everything you need for the beach. Great location. Few minutes to gorgeous Hanalei Bay. 10 minute walk to Queens Bath.
Will go back.

Hale Mikana was a beautiful and well maintained property that added immensely to our family's celebration of a 50th Wedding Anniversary! It is an outstanding location in Princeville on the Hale Makai Golf course- looking out to the West & allowing us to enjoy beautiful daily sunsets right off the balcony. The pool was a tremendous asset enjoyed daily by kids and adults alike; the kitchen/ dining area were roomy and well equipped to easily handle all 10 of us. We were able to easily reach nearby Kauai beaches and attractions each day - and then back to the house each night for dinners and family fun. There is absolutely no doubt that the Hale Mikana house became our "home" and added immensely to a wonderful vacation and lifetime family memory! Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a well-equipped and maintained location that highly compliments and facilitates all family vacation plans on Kauai! The Management Company was also outstanding and quickly facilitated our vacation needs.

From start to finish everything went very smooth. Easy communication with the property manager. The house had enough space for all 8 of us and more if necessary. The views are impeccable. The outside area with the pool is exactly what you would want from a luxury rental! Overall this was a great experience!

Great property and location! The house was clean with lots of amenities and thoughtful touches like bikes, coolers, beach chairs, etc. Wonderful view from the deck. Easy access to all the local activities and beaches. Property manager was responsive to questions, and instructions for arrival/departure, wifi access, etc. were clear, along with added detail on local activities, and places to eat. Was very pleased with the property and experience, and look forward to our next stay!

Our family rented this property for a vacation recently. There were 10 of us all together and the property was excellent for us. The pool was great to hang out by when we weren’t at the beach. The house is exactly as represented and is in a great location. We would definitely rent it again.

The property was as advertised. Good sleeping areas; great linens; well-outfitted kitchen; plenty of seating in dining room and on the porch with a beautiful view.

We stayed at this home with our teenage children for our wedding and we all had an amazing time. Between the days in the pool & card games on the covered deck in the evening, there was more that enough space to spread out and gather together.
The home is spotless and well appointed, private but central to everything in Princeville. It was a perfect place to host an intimate wedding dinner at the table for 10. Our caterer mentioned they’d been to this house multiple times.

The house was beautiful and in a great location. We loved the views, and the cleanliness, as well as most accommodations. There were a few things that I was disappointed with, however. We had planned a big pool party with family who were coming in from the Big Island, but we had to cancel because the pool never got heated as promised and advertised on the VRBO. This was a big issue for me because the pool was colder than the Ocean! We didn't get to enjoy it because it was far to cold. There was also problems with our internet and TV. We never got to watch TV, because of the cable box issue. This was Another thing advertised that we didn't get to enjoy. Both TV's in the master bedroom and living room didn't work until two days before we were leaving. The management company was very nice and friendly, but it didn't take away from the fact that we had expected these amenities that were never provided. I feel there should have been some refund done for these issues.

Hale Mikana is a lovely home. The size was perfect for our family of ten. The house was equipped with everything we need for our stay. The view was perfect..We probably wouldn’t stay ther again because of the traffic noise, the barking dog next door and the location. We found ourselves driving back towards the airport for most of our activities. The pool was way too cold.

House was great for our large family of 9. Perfect kitchen for big family dinners and hanging out on the lenai in the mornings and evenings. Rooms were good size and plenty of bathrooms. Clean, nicely appointed furnishings, outdoor areas and spaces. ONLY complaint we have is the road noise from the master bedroom. It may be bc of construction traffic for Princeville hotel but its pretty loud at night when cars/trucks are on main princeville road. And no AC was slightly uncomfortable for a few in our group. But this time of year was fairly cool with good cross breeze with windows open. All in all a great place.

Our group of seven adults enjoyed 2 weeks at Hale Mikana and never felt crowded. Spacious, well appointed property with a great location and panoramic view including golf course, ocean and mountains. We enjoyed the recreational gear Including bikes, beach chairs, and boogie boards. We also enjoyed many afternoons at the pool which is beautifully landscaped for privacy.
We would return to this Princeville gem again.

We loved the view of the ocean! I sat on the upper deck every day just taking it all in. The photos does not do it justice. The pool was absolutely fabulous. We got in the pool every day. Would definitely stay here again. The only negative I can say it is not a toddler friendly home.

We enjoyed our stay in late August 2021. Princeville can be very warm and humid during this time but with the open air spaces it was great. There are plug in fans in each room which we moved from some bedrooms to the bunk room. All the bedrooms were on the bottom floor which was ideal. The pool was beautiful and we had amazing views of the golf course and ocean. The neighborhood location is fantastic and we walked to Queen's bath on many occasions. I highly recommend this property!

My family and I loved this beautiful house. We had everything we needed for fun beach days as well as anytime we just wanted to hang out by the pool.
I never do reviews but felt that I had to share how comfortable we were at Hale Mikana.
There were lots of beds for our group of 7 and they were all very comfortable. Each of the bedrooms has a fan which was nice at night. The kitchen was well stocked with enough plates, pots, pans, cutting boards, cutlery, knives, etc. with whatever you would need to cook (we did that a lot). There were also plenty of bathing towels and beach towels as well as beach umbrellas and beach chairs.
On more note, the pictures, even those that we took hardly did the absolutely amazing view of the ocean justice. When you go upstairs you'll see the lust green golf course but the view of the ocean is much more than you can capture in the pictures, it is truly breathtaking and it was our favorite part of our stay!
We're already planning our next stay!!

This was are first experience staying in the Princeville area. The area is beautiful and the accommodations were very comfortable although is more a three bedroom house then a four since the fourth room consisted of two bunk beds only big enough for kids. We loved the view from the lanai overlooking the golf course and the ocean beyond. Everyone enjoyed the easy access to the pool. It was great to have the laundry facilities and the majority of the major appliances were great, although they could improve on the coffee maker (small issue). The beach furniture could be updated as well since they had seen better days. The property management company was accommodating when contacted for any questions or additional items (more propane for bar-q). There is noise from the main street but not anything that didn't bother us. The roosters at sunrise, now that's another issue and the dog next dog did have his moments. All and all it was a very comfortable house and a beautiful location. Aloha.

The sliding door windows leading to the upper deck had some small finger prints The peak of the roof on the upper deck had a lot of cob webs.
