Our stay at Ciauru di Mare in a few words was everything we could have asked for. As our plane was arriving early in the morning, we were allowed to check-in early which made the whole experience even better from the get go. We were greeted by the owner and his daughter who showed us around and left welcome gifts for us – a very nice touch. The flat is bright and spacious with two big double beds and a comfy sofa bed. As it is a new rental, there were a few things missing in the flat which were provided instantaneously with a smile. The owner also brought us a watermelon which was amazing! The owners really make you feel at home and are there to help you with anything you need. The flat is just around the corner from the beach, a store (Conad) and a bakery so if you wish, you don’t even need to travel far as you have everything at your doorstep. The neighbours are lovely and quiet which we liked. There is free parking just outside the property. In the evening, we would drive to the centre (5 mins), leave the car at Parcheggio Piazza Vittorio Emanuele (cost of 0.50/h) and from there you are pretty much in the old town. With the flat being located slightly out of town you have a good night's sleep guaranteed. I would recommend renting a car for ease of movement, but there is a nice sandy beach and shops nearby so it depends on what you’re after. The best beach is in San Vito Lo Capo which is 45mins drive away. So all in all, don’t be discouraged by only a few reviews. If you’re looking for a modern, bright and spacious place, Ciauru di Mare should provide you with all you need. The owners are exceptional and we would definitely come back and stay at this rental property again!

We loved everything about our stay here! We stayed for one night and loved it so much we booked for the week! The hosts were very responsive, friendly and welcoming! This location was perfect as it was a short walk to beautiful beaches, a few restaurants, and about one mile from the city! There is also a grocery store nearby. This was also a great location for several day trips to Marsala, Egadi and Erice. The apartment was very clean and updated! We felt like we were home staying here. Would definitely stay here again! Such a nice time with excellent hosts in a wonderful apartment and location!!
