Location was good, just on the outer of town so not too busy.
Air con
Cheap price for accommodation but you got what you paid for (or not even that)
Very dated. While the kids loved the pool it was in poor condition in terms of a lot of tiles missing both in and around the pool edges.
We stayed in what I assume is the original/older part of the facilities so can only speak on that part. Our room was supposed to be for 2 adults and 2 kids - we had 1 double and 1 single bed so had to go back and ask for another bed, which was a mattress on the floor, which our child didn’t mind.
Quite noisy from the road and people outside during the night and others walking around in the building.
Breakfast was very basic - toast, weetbix and cornflakes, which again suited the kids but not a huge amount of variety.
It has a huge amount of potential, just not there yet. Little things like mould around the shower base and sink could be cleaned up and the overall feeling would improve.

Location
Limited food, options. ie breakfast. Casual Ness of wait staff when dinning. The young staff need training when serving delivering meals?
I would have to get up 3 times to get condiments etc.

Closer to everything
Disappointed that our rooms were not clean from the second day to when we left. Rented two rooms from this hotel. Limited blankets per room & towels. Wish there was a washer machine on site for us visitors after swimming. They have washers machine but it cost an arm & leg for one item. Not the best hotel.

Extremely good value for money. Location excellent.
Just more upkeep with toiletries please.

Very relaxed, staff were friendly & helpful.
The bar had a great atmosphere.
We like that it’s is close to town, a great spot to base yourself if touring the island.
Needs a bit of renovating.
The pool, the AC units & the bathrooms are all a bit rundown.

The location is good if you need to be somewhere central in Apia. Good value for money if you want something budget. Staff try their best, and I'm sure in it's day it was something spectacular.
The pool is an actual safety concern. You need to wear shoes in it, as all of the tiles are broken and smashed. The deeper part was filthy. The worker was just free pouring chlorine in it, assuming to give it a shock treatment. However, it needed far more than the sprinkle he put in. Also, the pool is essentially in the car park.
Beds are hard and not comfortable.
The room was huge, but amenities are very limited. One face cloth, fridge didn't work, air con unit could do with a good clean, not to mention the room could benefit from a thorough deep clean.
The wifi doesn't exist, and they will try charge you for the free digicel simcard that is provided to all visitors all over samoa. Even using personal data won't work in the rooms as they are cement and block the signal.
Facilities are very lack luster, we arrived in late and were unable to get any milk, bottled water or juice as the bar had just closed. Breakfast was ok, pancakes, toast an cereal.
We stayed one night an checked out as we have a small child, and it just wasn't safe or enjoyable for him.

Friendly staff
Bed was hard and uncomfortable, our shower didn't have a shower head and i have told the staff about it, nothing was done about it. There was no aircon remote nor tv remote until i told the staff and they handed it to me. Bathroom is very run down. Ants in the room.
I have stayed here before and rooms were better back than. Rooms need more TLC.
I would recommend this place but the price we have paid for what we got was disappointing this time round.
Perfect location central to many places especially in town. But this experience this time round was quiet disappointed due to condition of the rooms.

There were cockroaches in our fridge when we arrived.

Staff were awesome and very helpful.. location is perfect (heart of the city), easy to acess to everything.
Struggle to rest on the nights of the live band. We enjoyed it but it was very late (mid night) 10.30pm at the latest could be more sensible.

Staff were friendly
Location was perfect close to everything we needed
Our room was nice but maybe have quilts on beds because price for a room kinder didn’t match the room.
Single bed was really small & uncomfortable especially the mattress.
Pool needed a really good clean and fix the broken tiles on pool because the broken tile cut my daughter’s toe

Breakfast marginal and food basic fare. A good place to stay in Apia at a reasonable price. Great pool, large rooms with balcony and sea view.

Breakfast was excellent! Fina a staff member always very helpful, friendly with an amazing smile at breakfast
Very convenient to downtown Apia!
Great band Friday and Saturday nights!
Great hotel to meet Samoans!
If we wanted to meet wealthier Australians, Americans and Europeans go to a 5 star hotel, but if you want to meet the Samoans go to the hotels where they are likely to stay!
The menu for lunch and dinner could be a little healthier eg less fried foods! Maintenance to the pool requires a little maintenance, loose tiles!

Breakfast was good, but staff need to put on some friendly smile and maybe some training on hospitality customer service.
The staff in the kitchen.
We always have to ask for toilet papers replenishment and towels, soaps and those for baths.
Cups in the room not clean, tea not fresh.
No remote for AC where Father was staying and shower was not cleaned

Location.
Amanaki restaurant is next door.
Overall experience was bad. The room smelled horrible, walls are paper thin. The room, fridge and bathrooms were dirty (found little ants in my bed) went out to farmer joes to buy cleaning products and Mortein. Rubbish and dirty towels were not cleaned regularly or at all actually, asked a couple of times for cleaning service when we return back nothing was done. Often I had to send the kids down to take the rubbish and ask for fresh towels. You plan a holiday hoping to get a good night’s sleep, wake early go to the local gym, catch the sunrise, run the city & check out the beaches. Not the case, due to the constant party’s going on til midnight, just when you think you can finally sleep, you get groups of 8 ppl loud laughing after hours 2am and constantly loud talking. The ladies at the bar are so rude to guest, I refused to spend a cent in their bar or restaurant. My family & I would have breakfast, lunch & dinner at Amanaki. They know how to treat guest, we always leave them a generous tip. If I knew this beforehand I would have paid the extra to stay at Amanaki, Lava or Tanoa next door. If you bother to read the reviews, you will see a common problem complaining about the same thing. Fix the issue or drop the word hotel and replace with motel or backpacker hostile.

Love the relaxed atmosphere (not strict on the noise). Location is awesome, right across from the water (seawall) and next to a nightclub. Having the pool outside our rooms was amazing.
Didn't like how they only serviced your room every second day (Including Sunday which that day is understandable).
You only get 1 towel per person per day. We were constantly waiting for clean towels or more toilet paper and had to go to reception and swap our dirty towels for clean ones most of the time.
Breakfast was very very basic (toast, weetbix and a fruit).
Staff at the bar / breakfast area had bad service. (Did the very minimal) and that's only if they were at the bar. (had to wait a couple of times).
Only had a sheet for you to sleep in.

Good location, not too far from Apia city. The food at the Restaurant was nice. The pool looked nice but didn't get a chance to use it unfortunately.
Was originally put into the wrong room until I questioned it and was put into the right room which was much nicer but a little bit dirty... (Just cups and shower).

location,
Would be great if the rooms had a microwave, breakfast buffet could be better more options or different menu everyday. Alcohol drink menu could be better with more options. Irons available one was faulty with melted plastic thats a hazard. Room to have its own dustpan. Room service floors were mopped with the AC off floor took a while to dry.

The room was nice and spacious. The air con in the room was amazing esp when coming back to our room from a hot day and walking in and getting hit with the nice cold air.
Staff was really friendly and welcoming.
The bathroom needs to be cleaned more thoroughly as we saw a lot of mold. The taps in the bathroom were so hard to turn on and it was angled more to the sink part and it was hard to use.
Might need to stock up more toilet paper in rooms as 2 isn't enough.
There was no light near the bed and at night it just gave the room a dull look.

Location
TLC on the rooms, cleaning was poor, pool needs cleaning, the smell in the room was damped after cleaning.
