Rooms matched the description on booking.com. Very spacious and good for families with children. Clean.

Place was situated at a Convenient place, close to town and restaurants around

Staff had limited knowledge of English

Friendly staff and security guard, took my bags to my room upstairs and then to get someting to eat quite late at night after a long day of travel delays :) Thank you

Im not sure this is a good or bad thing but the air-conditioning was way too good and i did not have a remote to adjust it in the room. I did have two beds in my rooms so i just to the bedding from the extra bed when i was cold in the night.

Integrity of the staff

The room wasn't ready when we arrived in the evening.

Loved the aircon and location was good. The staff were very helpful and we appreciated that.

At first when we booked, we were told a certain amount for the room, even though the room we booked was with own bathroom. Instead we were told we had to use a shared bathroom. Also was told the pool wasnt been used, hasnt been available for sometime. However online booking.com is showed pool was open. Also when we got there the rooms werent clean so staff member apologised and we took our money and left. HOWEVER later that night we needed the room and I thought no doubt it would of been cleaned and avaliable by now. it was almost 11pm. I was so grateful for who ever took my phone call and advised me that there would be someone there to help us when we got there. Which she did and also put our aircon on for us so it was nice and cool. In the end the pool was open the next day so that was good. We also returned a couple days later to stay again at the hotel as that was good for availability. The only thing on that stay was when the dishes were dirty so we didnt use the cup or spoon. Other then that staff were great and helpful. Our bed on the second visit, was broken and the staff were on to it straight away and swapped the bed out. Very thankful

Staff were friendly and helpful and always went above and beyond. Except for random animals in community, facility itself was quiet and calm and relaxing. Loved the place. Will definitely be back

Nothing I didn't like. Quite idyllic really

-Great location, close to restaurants, supermarket and ATM -Some of the staff were great -'Hostel vibe' -Nice outdoor area, which also includes a pool -Safe area and safe hotel spaces -Breakfast included -Functional rooms

-No room service at all. I had to try to fit my own trash into the general trash on the second floor and kitchen that were always full or almost full. I stayed for almost a week and would have benefited from at least one visit by the room service during this time (I expected daily room service upon booking the room). -Room and especially the bathroom wasn't overly clean. -No soap provided (shampoo, conditioner and body lotion was provided however). -Poor service from reception. I asked for help to book a taxi one of the days. I was told they would book one, then the staff disappeared, and I was waiting 20+ minutes without getting any communication before realising a taxi was never booked. At that point I just gave up and flagged down a taxi of the street instead. I didn't bother asking for any help after that. -I complained by email and never got a response. -I would have given a better review if this place was cheaper but for 120USD/night I expect a lot more than what I got. -I was first charge the wrong amount and was charged twice. -Hotel should invest in its staff and prioritise service delivery. -The receipt and invoice system is not good. The final receipt which I got in USD should include the WST conversion. I got a receipt in USD and have two payments in WST, but no conversion documented anywhere.

Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Basic family room with a shared bathroom. We stayed for 1 night, and it's a place you don't want to stay longer than 2 nights if you have children.

FYI - Alec's hotel is also a medical centre, so you will notice people waiting at the reception area.

Customer service and location were the only highlights

The room/s we got did not match the pictures on Booking.com - room 10 smelled like somebody peed everywhere and even with the window open all day the smell was still in the room. Also, the shower was not clean and there was cockroachers crawling on the draws and on teacups provided! The other room was for a group of 3 and again the shower was not clean, the toilet had insects crawling all over the seat! Very dissatisfied with the rooms and lack of hygiene - even the pool had dirty water 🤦🏼‍♀️ I wish I took photos before checking out so quickly! We checked out after only 1 night and the lady at reception just apologized and said management will refund us for the other 2 nights - it has been 8 days now and I have still not received a refund or heard from management!

I did not take breakfast.

It may be an elevator for the elderly, but the upstairs walk was not bad. The staff were helpful, though when I was settling in. A hot water jug would be very handy.

It had a pool

Our room was never serviced after telling the staff each day. The kitchen was always dirty The bathrooms we had to share, but it stated in the booking that we had our own bathroom, they were not cleaned daily, both shower tap and basin tap were broken, reception told nowhere done. We booked to have a room with our own bathroom. Our beds legs were broken when we first checked in. They said they would sort. Nothing done. There was no jug or cutlery in the room even though staff said there was. The cost was way different when we arrived to what it was on the booking. On the booking it was $871 usd and when we arrived we paid $1556.00 Tala, this should be changed immediately on booking.com The T.V did not go at all, when we spoke to the staff they said that it was because reception is really bad, and was told they had been trying to get someone there to fix it for months. Our room we booked was not what we were given it was appalling. I highly recommend that they do not charge high rates for services they do not deliver We couldn't cancel or find a new accomm as there was none left in Samoa. It was all booked out because of the big event

It was close to where I was working

1. There was no soap, glasses fir water, no cup, tea, coffee, sugar, milk. It was dirty and there was no working internet and no landline. My room was cleaned once in a 4 night stay. The staff were surly
