We stayed at Casa de Mer over New Years. The Villa was extremely clean and well equipped. The view is even better than the photos and sunsets are just breathtaking. Meredith was an incredible host. We had an issue with the refrigerator cooling and she had the whole unit replaced while we were there. She was great with recommendations for food and boat charters. I can't say enough about the whole experience. A couple notes- the twin beds are a standard twin.. we had our 6'4 son using that room and he was hanging off the end! The beds were very comfortable though and he slept well none the less. We purchased the beach club access 3 days of our trip-- it is very expensive (6 adults) especially if you want to use the gym. The access to the beach bar is nice but also very expensive. In my opinion it's not worth the money. The beach outside the villa is quiet and beautiful. We drug the chairs out by the water most days, used a wireless speaker and made our own drinks! We hired a personal chef for New Years Eve and dined al Fresco on Seafood chowder and grilled Lobster tail then finished the night watching the fireworks at the beach club. We rented jet Ski's on the beach and chartered a captain for a day on the water. It was the perfect family vacation. Thank you so much for the memories! We hope to go back soon. Cheers!

A beautiful well appointed unit that sits on a private beach. If u want to get away from the crowds and enjoy the magnificent waters of the Bahamas, this is your place. It is very close to a grocery store and also offers lunch and dinner options at the palm cay restaurant. We did not need for anything. A great place for families. The unit was extremely clean and had all the amenities. Wifi and satellite tv were great. Would stay here again

The beach is literally your back yard. Great access, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Meredith was a very good and super responsive host. Excellent Wi-Fi. Grocery store nearby. Friendly people everywhere. Whole family love it.

Casa De Mer is a little slice of paradise! The view is unbelievably beautiful! As soon as we stepped in the front door the view hits you and it is PERFECTION! The home is beautifully decorated and clean. You are literally steps to the sand and water. It has a beautiful large deck with plenty of seating and chaise lounges. The comfy house was well stocked and had plenty of beach towels for outside. We ate at the Pink Octopus twice which was within walking distance of Casa De Mer and it was a lovely place, also with beautiful views and good food. We rented a car ( be prepared to drive on the opposite side of the road ) so we were able to travel to different areas and restaurants as there are not many close by to Palm Cay. We would not hesitate to stay there again .

Nice spacious house on the beach. Perfect place to hang out and relax. Mike is an excelent property owner. Very helpfull.

We stayed at the Palm Cay resort for Spring Break. The house was lovely and cozy. The supply of colorful beach towels by the door were perfect and we spent a lot of time at the charming dining room table playing cards and enjoying our meals. The grill was a nice touch and the kitchen was fully equipped - never before have we stayed at a place with a blender! #smoothies The beach access was perfect for the kids and the beach chairs were perfect for the adults. We didn't use the membership or club pool since we were right on the beach. We didn't get the beach speakers to work, but we didn't try very hard. lol. The welcome packet was quite comprehensive, though I would definitely add the Bahaman Art and Handicraft to the list of 'must do' stops. Though the potholes are a real thing, we had no trouble driving and it was nice to explore the island a bit - even down to Jaws Beach! The beds were cozy and everyone slept well. Thanks for the laundry baskets in the closets!! The only real suggestion would be an upgrade to two ply toilet paper in the bathrooms, because, well, it's the beach.

Our most recent stay at Palm Cay by far exceeded our expectations. The home was as advertised with an amazing view, location and plenty of space for our family of 5. The kitchen was well-equipped and the owner was very responsive when we couldn't figure out how to get to the TV to work. The outdoor furniture and deck area were new and very nice! A nearby grocery store was brand new and had everything we needed (very similar to a US grocery store). We were on site with 3 other families staying at other homes. It was a vacation for the record books! We did a day trip to Baha Mar and also chartered a boat for a day from the marina. It was great, don't hesitate to book this property!

What an incredible spot! The location is absolutely stunning. We watched the sunrise most mornings from the top deck sipping coffee and found shade under the palm trees during the day. Being that close the the ocean was so nice! We could watch out 12 year old play in the ocean from the loungers on our deck. The ocean was very calm most days and great for swimming. We snorkelled around the rocks and found a few fish to look at. The home has a great layout with a large kitchen and living space and the 3 bedrooms upstairs were a great size. We appreciated having separate A/C for each bedroom! We had a little trouble with the washing machine but Michael the property manager was very attentive and got a technician out to fix it right away. He was awesome to deal with and is a great guy. We were a little concerned that the location was too far away from downtown but it really wasn’t far at all. We drove to the CrossFit gym most mornings and it only took 20 min. In fact, we really appreciated that we were away from the craziness of the cruise ships on the other side of the island. Another perk was that we were able to book a boat to pick us up right at the Palm Cay marina. Highly recommended heading over to Rose island and snorkelling the reef there. The tennis courts were in good shape and were never busy. 4:30 is a great time to play as the court is shaded by some big trees. We would highly recommend this condo and would stay here again if we are ever back in Nassau.

Mike is very present and answers fast. There was a problem, the ceiling in the dining room was leaking a lot right on the table. He tried to send people a lot to fix the problem, but it never worked. Still I understand it is not his fault. Also, the dishwasher is not working at all. But, for the rest, it was perfect. House is spacious. Bedrooms are sooo comfortable. The beach is beautiful and perfect for little children. Calm neighbor. Really enjoyed our stay. I recommand but only if the problems were fixed ! Thanks a lot Mike !

Property was as described and just steps away from our very own private beach, in a gated community which was a quiet and very relaxing get away. We used the information in the guide provided by Michael including using Cheryl for our transportation and all was very helpful! We loved the little cafe at the marina that had a Starbucks and supplies if you ran out of something as the location is a ways away from restaurants and grocery stores (Solomon’s was about a 15-20 minute walk). The marina had bikes and scooters for rent and we were able to line up a day trip with captain Rick to Rose Island through the Palm Cay office (highly recommend him and this trip). Would definitely stay here again

Amazing place….location was great, few steps away from water, beautiful beach, safe location. We will be back once they build a market inside the community so we don’t have to worry about groceries…Michael was great!!!

If you are looking for a perfect spot to be right on the ocean and not be disturbed by lots of people, then this is your place. The location is about a 30 minute ride from the airport, but the view, the sand and the water is just perfect. The place is clean, modern, gated and just right for a family or for a few couples. The Master is specious, the 2nd bedroom is a tight fit for a queen bed, but nice and the third bedroom is a good size with two twin beds. If you want to do things, then you will need to take a ride or rent a car. We rented a car and had no issues getting around. There is a marine and a nice restaurant just within walking distance on within the gated community. The price was a good value and we will be coming back to this same location.

Our family was fortunate to vacation for a week in the Bahamas, Nassau. We stayed in Palm Cay on Starfish Isle. The home was beautiful and our host Mike was amazing! Prior to us leaving for vacation, Mike provided a very detailed and helpful document with 20+ pages of tips and information, super informative and useful! Our flight was delayed getting to Nassau and we arrived pretty late in the evening, regardless of the delay, Mike stopped by that night to greet us and answer any questions we had with the property. Mike was also very responsive throughout our vacation to answer further questions that came up while we were there. The property we stayed at was simply amazing. It was very clean and well organized and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The home was right on the beach and included plenty of outdoor furniture, water toys and towels to use while basking on the beach. Our vacation was so amazing that we will definitely return and plan to connect with Mike to ensure another fabulous vacation in paradise!

We stayed with 3 couples, and the pictures just don’t do it justice. Absolutely amazing view right on the ocean. We spent most of our time on the patio in the back and on the beach. Well stocked kitchen and amenities. Mike and Lisa were very fast to respond to questions before we arrived, and very friendly during our stay.

LOVED this vacation! Being right on the beach and so close to the water was wonderful. While we loved the condo and location, we did spend a fair amount of money on taxis to get to our excursions. Highly recommend a day trip to the Blue Lagoon! We can't wait to go back to the Bahamas and this condo!

We had an incredible stay at this property, I wasn't sure that it could live up to expectations from the photos but it delivered! It was exactly as pictured, and even better because you can't capture the sunshine and sea air! My mother was blown away when we walked in and we loved our stay. It was perfect for our family of 4, and there were tons of wonderful amenities for the adults and kids, plus plenty of space. It's a bit of a journey to the downtown area, but we didn't mind being somewhere quiet and away from the city. Just make sure you budget 30 minutes to get to Nassau for activities. I highly recommend, and hope to return again soon!

Perfect location! The Palm Cay community was great. The villa was very nice, but could benefit from some minor repairs/upgrades (new screen doors, repairing back steps/deck), which would then give this property a 5-star rating. We would definitely stay at Casa de Mer again!

This condo is spectacular. The view is absolutely beautiful. My family of 5 had so much fun. The condo had everything you need for cooking and a couple things that were unexpected. It was nice to see a cabinet full of spices and plenty of pots, pans, glassware and plates. We spent alot of time drinking and eating at the Pink Octopus. We will miss the bar and waitstaff not to mention the "lime in the coconut" drink. It was a wonderful few days and really enjoyed the island.

My family stay was absolutely amazing. The home is beautiful and came equipped with everything we needed. The unit is in the perfect location to give some separation from others for a little bit more privacy. The restaurant, bar area, and small breakfast shop is a added bonus. Everyone on the Island was very helpful and nice. We will be back!

Had a great week relaxing on the beach and soaking up the sun. Plenty of room for the 6 of us (2 adults and 4 teenagers). Close to local grocery store and ice cream shop. Kitchen stocked with plenty of pots, pans, knives, etc.. The only complaint I heard all week was that the internet signal was a little weak in the upstairs bedrooms. Outside of that, everyone had an amazing time.
