Had parking for 2 trailered bass boats and rigs. Great views. If its a guys trip sleeps 4 without bunking together or using the pull out couch. Great place to stay. Host was very responsive.

We loved this home! The home was very welcoming and SO clean! The sun room and views of the lake were absolutely amazing. We were sad to leave. We all hope to come back again!

This house is just as advertised. The views of Lake Erie from any place in the house are beautiful. The host provides over and above what you could want and even allowed us an early entry. Close to anything you want to do. We have stayed in alot of vacation homes and this was by far the nicest.

This house was perfect for our stay in Erie. Gathering for my parent's memorial service, we needed multiple houses in Erie to help accommodate our family and Janelle's properties were ideal. Not only was this house located with a beautiful view of Lake Erie, but it had an open floor plan that was perfect for our traveling guests. Janelle is a gracious host who always responded quickly to any questions or request. I highly recommend this property and will reach out to Janelle again the next time we visit the Erie area. Every year, my girlfiends and I book a Girls Weekend and this year Swept Away was our choice this year! We cannot say enough positives about this place. It is a stunning home with views that are priceless. The booking, check in and check out process was flawless. Everything in the home is immaculate and there wasn't a shortage of space for us all to feel comfortable. I don't have enough space for all of the positives for this home. This home was clean, SO comfortable, and well stocked….and the views were amazing! Our Host Janelle, was attentive, helpful and a great communicator. I would highly recommend this home to couples, families or a group of friends! All around a fantastic stay.

Gorgeous house with a beautiful view! Girls trip for a couple days we loved it so much! Beautiful Christmas tree! Cool singing snowman, lots of space. Loved all of the little extras: the handwritten card, the treats, and makeup wipes, and the shampoo and conditioner! Would love to visit again and stay longer!

We were truly swept away by the breath taking views of the water and the great location. Our boys enjoyed fishing for stealhead and exploring the area. We would definitely recommend and will be back again in the spring!

Friends for 55 years we enjoyed a relaxing visit at this lovely home. Views were super.

Three college roommates who get together once each year who all turned, or will turn, 80 this year choose Erie for our destination this year. The house was beautiful--great deck to relax and watch sunsets; huge kitchen; nice bedrooms. It was worth every penny. Convenient location and very nice neighborhood. Every amenity you could think of were available. If not the nicest, definitely one of the best VRBOs I have stayed in.

We were literally swept away. The home was in a super quiet neighborhood right on the edge of Lake Erie with a view of the Lake and Presque Isle. The entire back of the house had tons of windows to let in lots of light and gave us sweeping views of the Lake. The enter and exit procedures were simple and seamless and the property contact, Janelle, left a welcoming note and some delicious chocolates. The back outdoor patio and indoor sunroom were wonderful places to relax and take in the view of the Lake and the beautiful sunsets. All in all, it was a perfect stay!

Our parents can not travel far, but deserved a quick break from their day to day that felt like a vacation. Mission Accomplished! After our short trip to Erie we were quickly swept away by the views this beautiful house offers. We soaked in the amazing views of Lake Erie and Presque Isle from the patio, the sunroom, the deck and even the lawn (pick your paradise). The ranch layout of the house was perfect for our parents, but it offers much more than ease of use. It was designed beautifully throughout. While we did not use the basement, it has a super cool retro vibe that we hope the host doesn't change too much to be honest! To summarize, if you're looking to spend a couple days or a week in the region, this house is perfect for everyone from couples to an entire family. Already considering rebooking!

Spectacular views of Lake Erie, Presque Isle, and the Erie Harbor Channel from this cute, clean, and recently refreshed house. Photos are 100% accurate, and the house was well-stocked and well-appointed for guests. Janelle was truly a "superhost".

This beautiful lakeside home was a wonderful fit for our family of nine!! Lots of room for everyone to spread out!! The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. We especially enjoyed watching the eagles in the morning and, of course, nothing compares to a Lake Erie sunset!!

Traveled to Erie for a family wedding and our group (including a 1 and 3-yr old) had a great time at Swept Away. The house was stocked to meet our needs while away from home and Janelle was just the right amount of helpful and responsive. The house is as promised by the pictures but the lake views are even more stunning in person. If I ever have to go to Erie again, I’d stay here in a heartbeat!
