Friendly staff, gorgeous, generous breakfast, as typical Moroccan as it could get

Clairement le plus bel Riad que j’ai jamais connu au Maroc. Emplacement en bord de mer et à quelques pas de la vielle ville de Tanger. Superbe décoration et cadre. Propreté irréprochable. Personnel très aimable et serviable. Excellent petit déjeuner en terrasse avec vue sur la mer et les montagnes espagnoles.

Le personnel exceptionnellement gentil et dévoué pour rendre notre séjour parfait ! Ça donne une très belle image du pays bravo à vous ! Et le riad est très très bien situé. Super rooftop où on en a pu prendre non seulement notre petit-déjeuner mais aussi notre dîner ( livraison organisée par le riad ,merci à eux même si je ne recommanderai pas vraiment )

La chambre single était un peu petite et n'ayant pas de fenêtre comme à l'européenne c'est un peu claustrophobique mais il paraît que c'est assez typique du pays.

Excellent accueil, le Riad est très beau, à la décoration soignée. Calme et reposant. Très bon et copieux petit déjeuner, très agréable pris tous les matins sur le toit terrasse, avec une vue magnifique sur le détroit de Gibraltar

Le riad est magnifique très bien situé au calme avec une vue à couper le souffle du de la terrasse.. Très bien accueilli avec possibilité de laisser les bagages si chambre pas prête.

Le lit est très dur...trop La lumière est restée allumée toute la nuit dans le patio éclairant les chambres. Boule quies indispensable copme c'est un riad on entend le moindre bruit....voisins rentres 1 23h45 très bruyant et bruit de préparation du petit déjeuner des 7h. Moi je n'ai pas dormi de la nuit.... Erreur de chambre dans la remise des clés

Todo!! El lugar es muy bonito! la decoración es increíble y la atención del personal también, al llegar a hacer nuestro check-in nos recibieron con un té y uno dulce tradicional, ambos deliciosos, la habitación muy espaciosa, viajé con mis padres y la habitación constaba de 2 habitaciones en una misma, una grande matrimonial y una pequeña individual por lo que nos daba mucha privacidad. El desayuno muy abundante y delicioso. Quedamos fascinados con el lugar, la yesería, muebles, mosaicos, vidriería, todo. Sin duda regresaríamos, nos faltó tiempo para disfrutar más el espacio.  Aunque no todo el personal habla español o inglés, buscan la manera para poder entendernos mutuamente, son muy atentos. Si buscas un hospedaje tradicional y lejos de hoteles de cadena esta es una muy buena opción.

Hamam wasn’t working

This was an excellent stay! I wish we had booked more nights here :) The staff are welcoming and kind. We were welcomed with a nice cup of mint tea while we waited to be checked in and bags were taken to our room. Breakfast was traditional Moroccan style with a bit of French influence - absolutely delightful (catered for vegetarian diet at short notice). The room and bathroom was beautifully decorated and comfortable with all required amenities. When we needed to leave, they kindly arranged for a taxi as well!

A beautiful Riad within walking distance of the Medina. The building has been completely renovated in the old Arabic style and is very charming. We were served mint tea when we arrived.

Our taxi driver couldn't find the hotel; we realized later that the wrong address had been given to us by the hotel. The owner was friendly, but his assistant was dour and spoke no English. Although the hotel had advertised having a spa and restaurant (they even emailed us their menu a week before our arrival), when we got there we were told that there was no spa and they were not serving dinners--and these were the reasons we had chosen this hotel! Also, our room had no windows to the outside, the bed was hard and the bathroom smelled terrible. All in all it was extremely disappointing. We left after one night, feeling that the owner had falsely advertised a spa and restaurant.

Precioso riad con instalaciones nuevas y modernas y muy limpio. Buena ubicación sin ruido exterior, al menos en nuestra habitación. El desayuno muy bueno.

Nos recibió un chico que sólo hablaba árabe y entendía muy poco francés por lo que nos costó un poco comunicarnos.

Era un viaggio di studio ed è stato molto comodo poter alloggiare nel riad con gli studenti ospiti nell'ostello nella stessa struttura. Il riad è piccolo, accogliente e molto curato. Zaccaria che lo gestisce ci ha seguito con attenzione sia prima dell'arrivo che durante il soggiorno. La posizione, subito fuori la Kasbha è comodissima. Ha anche una bella terrazza dove abbiamo lavorato tutti insieme e trovato momenti di riposo più intimi.

The small riad is like a beautiful boutique hotel located just outside the kasbah and medina. Its rooftop terrace has killer views, and the complementary breakfasts are tasty and filling. The shower was great. We slept like babies, and enjoyed the close proximity to rhe kasbah and medina. The service? Awesome. Truly. They arranged a taxi to meet us at the port ferry, and Zack ftom rhe riad met us there and rode back to the risd with us. Very reassuring. Zack also arranged an earlier breakfast on our departure day as we had to catch a 9 am ferry. We highly recommend Riad AL Qurtubi!

Our room was small though we saw other rooms that were larger so maybe we paid less? Or luck of the draw?

Die Zimmer waren sehr klein. Fenster nur zum Innenhof und daher dunkel.

The full Riad experience. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Beautiful terrace on the roof. Excellent breakfast. Attentive host, Zach. Good bed. Safe. Quiet. Well located near the City Bus Tour stop.

Limited hot water in the shower. Mostly cool. Ancient, historic buildings such as this will always have an ancient smell.

A beautiful riad in a great location within Tangier, the rooms are nicely decorated and the breakfast is wonderful. Nice views of the sea from the terrace. Highly recommended.

Having the possibility to arrange a taxi from/to the airport would make life easier for the client, but for now they cannot book airport transfers.

La puerta del baño tiene vidrio claro y el cuarto comparte dos habitaciones, por lo cual no tienes privacidad al momento de utilizarlo, esto se resolveria facilmente si los vidrios de la puerta fueran traslúcidos

Preciós. Molt confortable, amb un disseny molt autèntic encara que sembla nou. El personal és amable i si tens problemes de comunicació, sempre es posen en contacte amb l'encarregat que controla molts idiomes. Et reben amb un té. El desdejuny és molt complet. Les zones comuns estan molt cuidades fins l'últim detall, les habitacions espaioses, confortables, silencioses, amb parets capçaleres de selleria i amb tocs berebers. Té bomba de calor i fred, cosa rara en altres riads. El bany molt correcte. Una gran terrassa molt ben decorada amb unes vistes espectaculars. I per últim, la ubicació, a la zona de la Casbah, que és la millor zona de Tànger i que pots anar caminant a totes les altres zones. Jo tornaré segur.

El último día nos duchamos con agua fría :-( Llegamos a las 20:00 y no habían cambiado las toallas ni hecho las camas. Aparentemente, fue un malentendido

We absolutely loved Riad Al-Qurtubi. Our extremely kind and hospitable manager Zeki welcomed us to this Riad decorated with elegance and taste. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and cute. The breakfast was great. Served by sweet ladies and rich with the greatest pastry, butter, marmelade, olives and Moroccan tea I have ever tasted! Never miss the great view oon the roof top. When you get to the terrace a magnificient view of the Mediterranean will greet you!

Room was a bit too close to road but it was quiet at night.

It was an amzing experience in this charming Riad with Moroccan design and culture. The decoration and rooms transport you to the history of Morocco. The host and the team "Zakaria, Abdelkhaleq, Insaf, Khadija" were very kind and helpful for everything. My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this cozy place. I highly recommend visiting it :) Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast !

l'emplacement est bien. la décoration est très traditionnel sans aucune inventivité ou twist.

bruyant quand les portes s'ouvrent. moyennement insonorisé. un peu déçu pas la décoration que j'espérai plus moderne dans le traditionnel.

Le riad est tout neuf est extrêmement bien décoré, avec beaucoup de goût, moderne, traditionnel et artistique à la fois, de belles finitions et du matériel (douche, litterie) de qualité. Le personnel est très sympathique et le riad est situé à moins de 5 minutes à pied de l'entrée de la médina.

Comme tous les riads, si les autres clients sont bruyants, on les entend beaucoup... Le petit déjeuner peut-être amélioré, il n'est pas mal mais on a eu mieux au cours de notre séjour dans des logements pourtant moins luxueux.

Dies war wohl das beste Frühstück, dass ich je in einem Hotel gegessen habe. Da das Wetter gut war, konnte ich dieses auf der Dachterrasse essen. Und es war sehr reichhaltig. Es gab 3 verschiedene Brote, ein Croissant, Orangensaft, ein Ei, einen kleinen Käse, Kaffee, Tee, Butter, Konfitüre und marinierte Oliven. Schon nur wegen dem Frühstück würde ich hier wieder zurückkehren.

Dies ist eine Kritik auf hohem Niveau. Die Zimmer haben keine Fenster nach draussen, sondern in den Innenhof. Man ist aber sehr schnell auf der Dachterrasse von der man eine wunderbare Sicht auf das Meer hat.

The Riad is very beautiful and quite well located (next to the Kasbah and a 10 minute walk from Grand Socco). Some other positives from our stay were the breakfast, confortable room and beds and probably the best shower we had in our trip to Moroccco!
