This a very special place. Plants and wildlife abound. The house was very unique as it was custom made with love. I was expecting the kitchen to be better stocked with essentials like spices. The washer and dryer came in handy after a week of prior traveling. The beds were very firm. All in all it was very accommodating and easy to deal with for checkin.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Large home with plenty of bedrooms. Modern kitchen and baths. Very clean. Host was very responsive and helpful. Country home and great location adjacent to a creek.

Great house. Great location. Very private and peaceful. Our host, Daniela, was great with communication and helped to book a night tour with Refugio and a visit to Selvatura Park. George at Refugio was fantastic just as Daniela had recommended. Highly recommend this tour and guide. We only stayed two nights before moving to our next destination on the beach. I could definitely come back and stay here for two weeks or more. House is well equipped. They have a collection of books here, with a take a book leave a book mindset. Wish I would have brought a book I was willing to leave/swap. Would definitely stay here again. Staying here has me considering buying property in the area.

House is just as described. House was clean and close to nearby attractions. We enjoyed our stay. The house could use more items for cooking such as measuring tools and storage for leftovers. Also, the floors are gorgeous but very slippery, especially the stairs. The beds are a bit uncomfortable. Daniella was very helpful and responsive to questions. We didn’t use her services to book tours due to being on a budget.

Out of the way of major traffic, situated on beautiful property grounds yet still close to town and activities. A perfect getaway. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and modern.

The location is close to notable eateries and waterfalls. It was clean and as described in the listing. Keep in mind that there is no air conditioning. It was hot in April, so I'm grateful the host supplied fans. There isn't enough hot water for a shower; the hot water runs out after a minute or two.

Beautiful, well cared for home in the perfect location to see Monteverde and the surrounding cloud forest! We had such a relaxing stay! Many thanks!!
