Gorgeous, brand new hotel. Highly recommend for a luxurious experience!

Climate control and cleanliness were excellent. Rooftop bar very nice, especially at night with a gulf breeze. Every employee was highly courteous and accommodating.

Great hotel overall. A bit disappointed that they charge you to park. The rooms are not cheap, you would think parking might be included.

Friendly staff. Extremely clean hotel. Food is delicious. Ocean front for most rooms, and a side walk across to the beach. Couldn’t be more perfect for a Clearwater vacation.

This hotel looks new and the room is big and so comfy.

Self parking is not available, only valet parking and it is not convenient when needed to get something from car. Also disappointed when finding out Wifi is extra per device

Beautiful views but was disappointed in parking options and the rooms did not have any microwaves.

We loved this hotel! Pool and bar area were fun. The drink prices are ridiculous though. The room was great with a nice view of the beach.

They just opened so we aren’t going to pick on them too much. There was no one for 10 minutes to check us into the hotel which was frustrating because we waited over 10 minutes for an elevator because only one was working and the staff had to use it too. The valet guys were nice and friendly. All the other staff there were not friendly. They all seemed like zombies. They weren’t friendly or outgoing. A good thing to remind them: your guests are there to vacation or get away. Would you want people around you to be like that if it were your vacation? Otherwise the lady working during the day at the pool was very welcoming and professional. We loved the room! It was very spacious. Nice touch on the floor to ceiling windows even though we didn’t have the best view, it made up for it. Beds super snuggly comfy. The view from the pool and lobby are outstanding. The location is perfect and enjoy the newness of it all. The pool was cool and at the perfect temperature to take a dip.

The stay at the Hiatus was lovely . We will definitely return again . Updated rooms in an extremely convenient and good location. The hotel is right next to the beach with plenty of dining options. Valet attendants were great always polite and helpful.

I really loved The Valet gentlemen, they were always so pleasant and polite! Even off duty they were always nice! The cucumber water was refreshing after coming in from the heat. The light switches were a little confusing and the shower head sprayer too. Only thing missing was guest laundry, after being on the beach it sucks bringing sand home in your luggage . And only 1 chair on your balcony is not enough, 2 would be efficient. Really loved the shampoo, conditioner and body wash and lotion. This was a comfortable stay, would do again.

Me and my family of 4 had such a great time!! We loved our ocean view room!! I would definitely stay here again, Clearwater has my heart! If you are booking anytime soon I would recommend ocean view not water view because there is construction next door. Regardless of that the hotel and staff is amazing!! Well done!!

This is a great property. location is perfect to beach and activities. The only negative I would say is the parking. They offer Valet which is very.... expensive. We learned on the first night that we could park behind the hotel in a lot for half the cost. I would definitely stay again.

Brand new hotel, right across the beach, very clean, very spacious compared to this class of hotel with additional small room adjustment to bathroom area, very attentive and friendly staff.

Highly recommend! A few kinks to work out as the hiatus has only been open 5 weeks. Maid service forgot us one of our 2 days, and some staff seemed undertrained. However, the hotel is so clean and so solidly built, beautifully decorated rooms and common areas. Staff was really helpful at every level, including management. We would stay there again.

The Hiatus is a fine hotel with some design elements that don’t work well. Furniture in general looks great. However, most of it I.e. chairs are uncomfortable to sit in. Also in the restaurant tables and chairs or benches make it difficult to sit comfortably and enjoy a meal. Where we were seated it was impossible to sit with our feet straight due to the fact that the table base was a closed design leaving no space for our feet. For a (rather expensive) dinner that’s not the way to go. As far as restaurant, quality of the dishes we chose was excellent. However, choice is limited and prices in general high. Breakfast also has very limited choice and exclusively a la cart.

Everything was amazing. Each staff member was courteous, friendly and went out of their way to make our stay amazing! JR at the Ocean Seven bar was fantastic! Even management was checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed at all times.

I loved almost everything about my stay here. Every employee I encountered was so friendly. A shout out to Paulina the bartender, the hostess Shani and waitress Chi and the handsome young men who opened the doors on countless occasions, and always with a smile. The food was pretty good-- I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts there. I had a good meal with scallops and pork belly but it was on the cold side and the shrimp bisque had a small piece of plastic in it but they comped the soup so all is forgiven. My real issue is the construction next door. It was not a problem my first two days since they were not working. BUT to be awakened on a Monday morning at 7 am by jackhammers and the general roar of a huge hotel being built across the street was highly unacceptable. I even asked the woman who checked me in whether my room was a good one and she said oh yes, just look at the view you'll get-- it looked great but of course the work wasn't being done at the moment because it was a Saturday. I was given the option to move rooms and I did, but it definitely was a downgrade! No construction, but definitely overlooking the dumpsters and the back of the restaurant that sits next to the hotel. I couldn't leave my "balcony" door open because of the smell of a fully functioning and busy restaurant was constant. I was happy I could see the shore beyond it, but had I known these were my choices, I might have chosen elsewhere to stay. I should never, ever have been given that first room.

The hotel was amazing and the staff was so accommodating and super friendly. We loved everything about the hotel and will definitely be back.
