The house was located on a beautiful property. Lots of space for the kids to run around and some beautiful horses which the kids loved. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc, detergent and dishwashing tablets provided which was great.

We were a little disappointed to find out the property only had one split system - the 5 bedrooms and living room were all extremely hot as this was in December. Very hard to sleep in such heat. It was advertised as having air con, so we expected a house of this size to have ducted. The fans in the rooms squeak and wobble, making it hard to sleep with the noise of the fans. The blinds in some rooms are broken letting in a lot of sunlight early in the morning. The carpet, couch and pillows in the living room are filthy. Beds were possible, but not very comfortable. The property was advertised as having a “spa” however, this just means it has a bathtub with jets. When paying $830 per night, you would expect a lot better. Very disappointing.

It was peaceful and spacious, a lot of local vineyards close by. Pool table was an added bonus!
