Very welcoming staff, it was spacious and comfortable but needs updating for the cost. Never the less i would stay here again due to easy access to major restaurants and mall

Upon check in we were told that the carpets were being cleaned so our room may have damp carpet all throughout (which they did). About a day later we were told late in the day that the water pipes had burst earlier that day and they had no idea when it would be fixed. It was 6pm when they told us and I had to look for another hotel and move my family (2 young kids and my elderly parents) to another place. when I tried to get a refund for the rest of my trip, the front desk told me to contact Expedia - they could not refund me at the Hyatt. They were quite short with me as if it was a huge inconvenience for them to be dealing with my issue!!

Nice hotel in a great non congested area of Charlotte. Check in recommended excellent restaurant nearby. For a 1 night stay i have no complaints. Would definitely stay again whrn in town.

We have stayed here numerous times over the years. It’s in a great area of Charlotte. Close to restaurants and dining. That being said, the hotel seems a bit run down for the area. It really could use a remodel. TV didn’t work on the treadmill which isn’t a huge deal considering the area is runner/walker friendly. Bed was comfortable but bathroom was dingy. There are several newer hotels in Southpark-

The kitchen has stove but they provided NO KITCHEN WARE so I guess guests are expected to travel with pots and pans. No cups nothing provided. We had to ask for toiletries none provided. The pool area was clean but the pool was dirty leaves and stains visible. I really expected a 4 star feel especially when you are charging $400/night. The two stars are for the location and the clean bed.

It's a perfect location to stay in. The mall, food, and grocery stores are all short distances away. The building is older, but the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable.

Parking was not the best but I enjoyed the covered garage. The employees kept coming to our room saying we were in the wrong room but we were never moved. The room was beautiful and clean. The shower pressure was awesome but the ac was acting up
