Stayed here from the 21st-24th of August and then booked again 30th - 31st of August prior to our flight home. The hotels lobby and restaurant area are very modern and clean. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Restaurant is good quality food and drinks and brilliant service for both breakfast and evening meal. We had a basic room and it was a little dated but it was clean on both occasions. Enough plugs and lights etc. The outdoor area of the hotel is good for children, there are games to play eg badminton and connect 4 and plenty of seats. The pool area is clean but there are loose patio slabs and the steps come right out of the concrete - needs sorting for safety but otherwise the children enjoyed the pool and the hotel provide pool towels too. The only the other thing about the outside area is the amount of mosquitos - I know this is out of the hotels control but I’m mentioning it to ensure you use mosquito protection at all times because I had over 30 bites within an hour of being outside. The hotel is 2 stops away from the airport - Tram line A. This line also takes you straight into the city centre so the convenience of the hotel is perfect for stopover for airport or a cheaper option to explore the city centre. Totally exceeded our expectations, a fabulous family hotel, we are already planning to stay a little longer next time so that we can hang out here and explore Bordeaux before moving on. The only reason it wasn’t five stars across-the-board was because one of the kids beds had three slats missing, which we didn’t find out until the morning when the mattress had disappeared into the bed! we were too much of a rush to report it though, I’m sure they would’ve dealt with it very well, service was excellent with everything else!

Couldnt get a decent nights sleep as there was a constant humming from the vents and it wasnt my air con as it was switched off. The room I had was very spacious but the sockets looked a bit dated. After that the maids did a great job and the resturant staff was vety friendly!

Great hotel, restaurant and reasonable room size for our family of 4. There were wood pieces missing from the slatted wood base of one of the single beds. Glad that due to my daughter size, she was able to sleep laying on the opposite side.

Always use this hotel when im in BOD. Now summer is here the pool and garden make it an excellent choice
